World's Best Martial Artist is a recent donghua that I recommend worth watching. The plot involves a young man who wants to be stronger and many things he went through to make progress. The main character is not too generic or annoying just right. The art is nice and animation especially for the fights is nice, especially in the later parts. Just be aware the story doesn't fully conclude, possibly a setup to s2. I overall just had a fun ride watching, being engaged and amazed at what I was seeing. In addition it had a wide variety of characters which ... I liked.

Shishigari is a short film animated by studio durian, best known for lookback. It's about a boy surviving in the wilderness and the many things he goes through. While the plot is simple(both slice life, survival, and some action), it's still quite interesting to watch the strongest aspect is the art and animation as it's fairly high quality and aesthetic. The main lead character is a young boy, who is quite strong even though he's small. The boy is fairly simple, but you get used to him. I recommend this movie if you want a quick but entertaining watch.

While scrolling through mal, I found this anime movie. Even though it had bad reviews I still watched it. To my surprise, it was a solid 80's scifi anime, with a somewhat predictable,but intriguing plot. I especially like it since scifi is one of my favorite anime genres.

The art and animation were good for it's time(1989). Especially in the fight scenes, which are animated nicely.

Characters were basic, but still interesting.

If you don't know what other anime movies to watch, I recommend this one. However, don't just don't take it seriously and instead just have fun watching.
