Cyberpunk: Edgelords is one the most soulless things I've ever seen, the series main girl is just a distasteful waifu-bait that exists solely for fanservice material, the mc is a hollow self insert who has an op ability because he is the mc, he also has a dumb and generic back story which they expect us to care about, I mean come on! We saw his mom die on episode one, in the first FIVE MINUTES of episode freaking one and we’re supposed to care and roll with our main character's newly acquired tragic fate? Yeah I don't think so.

a crew to do… what exactly? Cyberpunk stuff I guess? I've never really played the game and based on the fact that this show is now regarded to be superior to its playable predecessor, I don't think I will anytime soon. Anyways, the episodes consist in our beloved (not really) cast of characters running around doing cool stuff and looking cool while doing it, until it isn't cool and then they look uncool and whine around for a bit. There is a lot of violence, blood, bad words, sex, nudity… Did I mention this is an “adult” anime? If you didn't know don't worry, the show will gladly give you a reminder every episode the certainty that you are in fact watching an adult show, this in the form of boobs, foul language, breasts, blood, titties, and death. Did I mention tits? Because that's what the adult audiences all love, hell yeah!
That's all that there is to it really, there's a bunch of other side characters to cover but since they are as deep as a puddle I forgot their names so not really anything to say about them, one interesting mention may be that on the dub there is a character voiced by Giancarlo Esposito aka “Gus” from a much better show, he definitely is the most stand out character but he doesn't really get the most screen time until the last few episodes so not even worth watching because of him.
The final “antagonist” is even more unremarkable and dull than the main cast, and just like our much beloved mc he is crazy overpowered because, why not?…He's the big bad whom nobody can mess with. He's gotta be ultra mega strong right?
One thing that really bothered me (aside from everything i've already mentioned) is the the placement of songs, there's this one pop song that they use every time an “emotional” moment occurs, as if saying; “hey, this is a touching moment, you better feel something!” It really came out in such an unnatural fashion and the fact that they always tried to pair it with moonscapes in a sort of symbolic way didn't help.
Most people's biggest praise for the show is how “good” it looks' and my question is, aside from the neon and epileptic colors, is it really anything special? Our mc has a boring mohawk and some “cyber” details that are as basic as his name, The cyber waifu has cool glowing hair and clothes that looks cool when we see her in nude shots (as most other female characters with fanservi- I mean mature nude scenes), the truth is, besides a few of the main crew, no character design really stands out, and most of the “good looking” world features are nothing you can’t find in better shows Ex: Psycho pass, Ghost in the shell.
Overall 2/10 1 point added because the crazy loli jacking off a random guy was funny.
