I read this manga for the Summer Stack Challenge 2024. Kirari Books Meisouchuu! is a slice of life manga that takes place in a bookstore. It contains a bunch of cute characters doing cute stuff, with a minimum of plot related progress. There are a lot of mentions to Manga Time Kirara, which is a Japanese magazine. If you know nothing about Japanese magazines like me, I feel like it takes away a bit of the fun of reading this manga.
The characters were very cute, which drew me to reading this in the first place, but the jokes or story were not particulary funny

Barajou no Kiss is a manga that has everything I would like in a reverse harem manga. It is a perfect blend of (embarrassing) romantic scenes, comedy and with a fantasy element. But also featuring some darker themes. The main cast is great, with Anis and each knight bringing diverse characters into the story. The interactions among the characters are filled with witty banter and clever puns that made me smile throughout the story.
The art is absolutely gorgeous, met dramatic action scenes as well as panels with gorgeously drawn frilly clothes, roses and backgrounds. However, the ending felt a bit weird to me. While the ... |
