Today I will do a review on Fairy Tail and neglect my studies as I usually am, so I hope you enjoy a shitty, yet possibly good review.
This review contains slight spoilers, but it shouldn't affect the series.
This is going to be a pro and con type of review, but not much detail so be prepared since it should be a good enough reason NOT to read it.
Pros of this manga:
The art in the beginning somewhat copies One Piece's special artwork, but then gradually leans torwards it's own unique art which is actually good, since all mangaka should be like that.
The characters I will say,
...
are actually not that bad.
When you have a bunch of great characters bundled together, you'd naturally think it'd be good. We have the good ol' protagonist that will go to hell and back to protect his allies (which we've always seen a lot) Erza a woman that is strong and shows no weakness, Lucy the normal fan service girl showing tits every chapter (or later on), etc.
Cons:
While it has good characters, they don't change. They just stay. Nothing else.
Character development? Nope.
The main character is always OP as hell and NEVER loses a single battle. The good 'ol cliche of YOU-GAY-HOE (Yu-Gi-Oh). And when he does (finally) even in a condition he shouldn't be able to win, he does. With no other powers, just using the same ones he used earlier, but doing even less still managing to win.
The 'power' of friendship is heavily implied here so bronies might actually like this manga.
The plot: The plot? You kidding? There is none.
The average error of shounen manga is that every arc is generally the same with no goal in mind. Fairy Tail is this: >bad guy shows up>wins. And repeat it all. And if he does lose, he wins anyways in an even weaker state. -_-
He also always 'suddenly' managed to get power ups, even on his own.
The arcs: this is aimed torwards toe ENDING of them. Every single enemy becomes a friend. Every.single.one. They even managed to turn Gajeel (one of the most badass characters possible) into a person that acts like a baby around almost anything now.
This definitely was a shitty review, but it should be good enough not to read it and waste your time reading it, when you could've worked on your educaiton, or just read a better manga instead.

This series you might say, is underrated. Yes, underrated. Why you ask? It hasn't reached many people yet. Basically when I started reading this the first thing that came to mind was the titanic plus zombies combined. Was fairly decent.
It did not have the best start, but it picked up greatly later.
Plot (7) after reading other zombie mangas, I can say this is possibly better than HSOD, which most people have read. Not to mention the fact that zombies and being trapped in a titanic is simply brilliant because you're always 'cornered' and have to move on. It did have it flaws, and referenced a
...
movie, but hey, it was pretty good.
Art (7) I won't say this art is bad but rather good, but it's different from what I've seen which is good actually for serious and zombie moments, but the zombies don't exactly look like 'zombies' more like berserkers.
Character (7) the character setting was good for this series for everyone, though the heroine let down a bit, but it didn't annoy me so I bet you can deal with it.
Enjoyment (8) it's not everyday you come across a good zombie series considering how many are bullshit and this actually has a ending compared to others.
Overall (7) while I would like to give this a 8, it fits more like 7.2/10 but comparing to others, this is still great.
I highly recommend reading this, but I suggest you wait until the end of September because the last two chapters are not translated yet.

This is my third review, so bare with me as it may be a little down.
There will be SLIGHT spoilers that won't affect the series, so don't be offended.
Shingeki no Kyojin, in other words, Attack on Titan.
When I first watched this, I was an immediate fanboy of AOT.
Though after watching more, it changed. Most reviewers here reviewed this series on just 7 episodes, with that, you can't judge a proper show.
With reading the manga and up to episode 16, I could make a fair review.
...
The plot? Ehhh it's kinda more like Giant zombies with fucked up faces eating humans even though they're titans.
I'm having problems with this plot really. Giants eating humans even though they need to, along with NO weapon that could damage them except blades? Not to mention the fact that they're just running around butt-naked.
A giant who breaks through the first wall, then just disappears? I mean, shouldn't this be like, MASS destruction? Not to mention the sudden titan teleportation where the characters were guarding. I mean, wtf since when could they teleport?
As for the actual plot of this series, it's pretty much one of those things where it's like "Oh let's search for this! It's our goal!" and it never gets there.
Another problem is that there is too much talk, and no action.
The MC? Well he's fueled by rage, which I don't mind, but Misaka? Don't kid with me. She's "good' at everything while following a guy while she's somewhat better in certain things. The prime example would be a Lion following a Dolphin, it's laughable.
As for the enjoyment, I enjoyed it, I mean slaughtering titans with rage sure is fun, but as I said, too much talk in this so if you're looking for action with a ongoing anime, DO NOT START THIS. Wait until it ends so you won't be tickling your dick every week for more titan fapping.
I'm just disappointed with the fanboys hyping this up just like SAO, just because the reviewers like it so much they immediately slap a 10/10 on this series while it does NOT deserve it.
Story is decent, art is good for the show, the sound is really good, but the character? Ehhhhhhh. *no comment*
Overall I'm giving this a 7.
