This is easily the most overrated anime of all time. When I first came to MAL, I didn't hear much about it. About August 2008 I started seeing it being recommended by people in the Recommendation forum. I didn't pay attention to it. Fast forward to 2009, March to be exact, and I'm seeing it being recommended left and right, and being hailed as the greatest anime of all time. Many people even went as far to say that if you didn't like LOGH, you had no taste in anime. So I started to think that I may want to watch it. I went ... to it's page and found that it was ranked in the top 5.

That's when I initially started watching it. April, 2009.

Now, I watched the first 7 episodes and thought to myself "Well, it's starting off a little slow, maybe it will pick up." You see, by the first episode, I was already bored. I put it on my On Hold list.

Then, September 2009, I decided I would give it another chance, I thought that maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind back in April, and that I really had made a mistake by putting it on hold. It turns out it was a mistake to put it on hold, I should have put it where it belonged - in dropped.

You see, it never got any less boring. In fact, it got even more and more tedious, until it at episode 20, it began to be a chore to watch it. I would actually DREAD my anime watching time, because I had to watch LOGH, the 'great anime of all time'. If I could give it a 0 for enjoyment, I would. Hell, this sounds corny, but I would give it a -10, if I could. Alas, I cannot. So I give it a 1. This is about the most boring anime ever.

Shouldn't anime be enjoyable? If an anime isn't enjoyable, hasn't it failed? In my opinion, yes, Anime should be enjoyable. In my opinion, LOGH isn't. I know there are people who share this opinion, but are just to afraid to voice it, due to the people who actaully have the patience to finish the horrid show being vicious when disagreed with about the show, like rapid, foaming at the mouth Twilight fangirls.

Story - 6/10

Almost directly plagiarized from Star Wars. I'm surprised George Lucas hasn't sued them. Imagine Star Wars, only with no light sabers, no plasma guns, and no awesomeness. Oh! And it's run by aristocrats from France. Alright, now you have Legend of the Galactic Heroes. If you haven't seen Star Wars, just imagine Star Trek, only more boring. If you haven't seen either of those, I'm not sure why you're even reading my review.

Art - 7/10

Nothing to write home about. Very average. Almost everything I watched was a Laserdisc rip though, so you can kind of see how it might not look too nice. I mean the art really is truly average 90's art, which I happen to be a fan of. But that's it. Nothing special. I will add though that the command deck for the Empire is quite detailed.

Sound - 4/10

Subpar - not even worth getting into. Very little background noise, just voices, and many annoying ones at that.

Character - 4/10

You know lots of people rant and rave about how human the characters in this series are. The trouble is, they aren't. Every character - stock. It's like the author of the original book (ahaha, yes I do know that much!) just got a list of all the stock characters of all time and just decided "Whoop! I guess I'll use these!"

Yeah, so all in all, LOGH isn't worth your time, or hard drive space since the only way to watch it is to download. Most people who will read this review will probably be outraged. Hey - if this review has angered you, feel free to leave me a comment about it. But atleast be civil. Remember that everybody's opionion is different, and just because I don't agree that LOGH is the best anime ever doesn't mean I'm stupid, dumb, or have bad taste. It just means I didn't like LOGH.

And that, my friends, marks the end of my review.

Easily the best Shotacon collection I've ever read. Each story is stand alone, and eventually leads to sex, as all good hentai should, so no complaints there. Nothing really new added to the mix, but it re-hashes old situations rather well.

The art is just great. The penises and vaginas and breasts are very well drawn, and all the boys and girls in this volume are very sexy. I love the way the mangaka draws the little boy's penises, and I also love the way the mangaka draws ... the faces of the females while they're taking it - it's just great, you can almost feel the level of enjoyment they are receiving.

The characters, for the time that you get to see them, you get to know them pretty well, and can understand them. The mangaka actually did great characterization considering you only get to see each character for 20 some odd pages.

Enjoyment. Oh lord. I love this manga. I fap to it on a biweekly basis, and it's never gotten old. That should speak volumes all by itself. I highly reccomend this manga to all shotocon lovers, and lolicon lovers alike.

Note: Under no circumstances should you watch this pathetic excuse for an anime.

... Story:
There is no story. If you have seen Guyver or Hokuto no ken, then combine the plots of both of these, take out the awesomeness, and you have this show. If you haven't seen either of those shows; then I'll attempt to explain the plot in a few words. Nuclear holocaust, giant demon monsters, and school children. Yeah. It sucks.

Art:
Horrible art. Nothing looks good at all. All of the character designs suck beyond belief. All the monster that the main character fights have fucked up beyond reason attacks such as their penis transforming into a dragon or using their titties as guns. Yeah.

Sound:
It sucked too. Not worth getting into. It's just bad.

Character:
Not even the girls in this anime are hot. The characters are desgined poorly and have poor personalities. I never felt that I ever got to know any of the characters, and I also didn't care at all about any of them. All the characters are extremely bland and stock.

Enjoyment:
I loved this anime so much......................... NOT!!!!!

Overall:
It sucked. It's far worse than Mars of Destruction.

This is one of the most under-rated anime series of all time, do not let it's low average score fool you, this is buried treasure right here.

Story (7/10) -
The story to Nuku Nuku is very simple - Nuku Nuku is a cat in a humans body and is an android. She goes to high school, and fights the evil Mashima Industries. That's about it. This anime is episodic, meaning that things happen by the episode, so don't expect any story arcs here.

Art (9/10) -
The art is a bit dated, but very well pulled off. All the colors and character designs are fitting, and the animation ... quality is wonderful.

Sound (9/10) -
The sound is great. All the character's voices fit and the sound effects are also fitting. The only complaint I have is that often one male main character sings, and his voice gets very old, very fast.

Character (8/10) -
Nuku Nuku is really one of my favorite characters of all time. She is extremely cute and has a very good personality that anybody will grow to love within a few episodes. The other characters are great too, and are all funny in their own way.

Enjoyment - (10/10)
I enjoyed this series massively. Thus the 10/10 rating. I really think if you give this anime a chance, you will love it as much as I do.

Overall - (9/10)
This is a great series that is very under-rated. If you have an open mind and aren't expecting very much, you will love this anime.

Mai-Chan's Daily Life - one of the most notorious erotic-grotesque (commonly abbreviated 'ero-guro', or simply just 'guro') manga series of all time. I will put this as a fair warning - this manga is not for the faint of heart. Now, onto the review.

Story (9/10)- Well, the story in and of itself isn't that good, but the premise of the main character - Mai, is. She cannot die. She is stuck in a whorehouse for wealthy loons and sexually humiliated and dismembered daily. Sounds run of the mill? Well, I guess maybe it is, but it is executed quite well. The whole 'she-can-never-die' thing really ... was done well in this series, and I have never seen it before. Really the plot/story don't matter because when you read guro you want to see two things; sex and gore. These both are present. Add a well executed 'super power' of sorts for the main character, and bam, you got a 9 out of 10 for the story.

Art (9/10)- Uziga Waita has always been a good artist, but in this manga he really shines. Everything is extremely detailed, but not to the point where you feel that you are being overwhelmed. For such a far-fetched story, the gore and sexual organs of the characters are actually portrayed rather realistically. Really my only complaint is that sometimes he shadded a bit too much and it made it hard to tell what he was drawing, but that only happens once or twice, and doesn't spoil anything.

Character (4/10)- Nothing special. Except for Mai-Chan, every other character is pretty much stock. Of all the girls in the manga, Mai-chan is the only one who actually managed to look hot. Not impressive for a guro manga. I guess it is about average in this field.

Enjoyment (9/10) - What can I say, I enjoy a good shock. This manga delievered some shocks. Oh, and did I mention that the final chapter is actually so shocking/awesome/famous that it has become a internet meme? Oh, well it has.

Overall (9/10) - Read this manga if you want to be shocked. Great guro. Classic. Read it now. Read it now. Stop reading my review and read it now.

Story - 7/10 - Good
The story is really nothing to write home about, it really just serves as a device to get to the fighting scenes. The movie is about 40% plot, and 60% action, so it will not fail to disappoint. The story has some good twists and turns and will keep you on edge the entire time, and is generally captivating for a sports anime.

Art - 9/10 - Great
Very detailed art, I was impressed. Each individual character is detailed very nicely, and the all the muscles and ... battle damage on the boxers is done very realistically and is convincing. The environments are lush and colorful, and serve their purpose well. Considering this is a pre-2005 anime, I would say the art is wonderful.

Sound - ??/??
I have no sound on my computer, which is where I watched it. Sorry.

Character - 8/10 - Very Good
The characters, for the most part, are well developed, and seeing how this is really an extension of the original series, the expected audience already knows all the characters, so little explanation is given, but the explanation that is given is quality. Each character has their own fighting style and things that motivate them, and each of them are unique.

Enjoyment - 10/10 - Outstanding
I really enjoyed this movie. I have not seen the original series, but if the series is like this movie is, I will definitely watch it. This is entertaining from the beginning to the end, and when it ends, you will be begging for more. Thank goodness there is a sequel.

Overall - 9/10 - Great
This is a classic. Go out and watch it right now - you won't be disappointed.

Story 10/10
This manga takes most of it's stories from actual crimes that happened, which makes it all the more disturbing. Each story is rather short, this manga being only 10 chapters, but it gets to the point rather quick, and its blunt about what it is trying to tell you. The stories take up to 3 chapters ... each, and when they are done, they leave you with a general feeling of disgust and feeling sorry for the characters,wishing that you could have helped some way. The author jumps right into each story and provides little backlog on what has happened, but these stories really don't need one.

Art 10/10
The art in this manga is amazing. Everything is detailed, from the character's skin to the blood and gore falling out of them. I can't express how well the blood and gore was drawn. Extremely realistic, and sometimes vomit-educing (which is a good thing). Each character is unique and seems to have a personality of their own, and are drawn as such.

Characters 10/10
All the characters are designed very well and each have their own circumstances to which they are being punished for, fair or not. The pregnant lady persona is used twice in this series, and to quite avail, wrenching disgust in you like none other. Each character is well designed and I generally liked the way they looked.

Enjoyment/Overall 10/10, 10/10
I really enjoyed this series and I plan to probably read it again. I highly recommend this to anybody who is looking to be disgusted and otherwise if you are not , or you do not have a strong stomach, do not read this manga, you will probably vomit.

This is probably the most hardcore hentai that is out there, folks. Not for the faint of heart - a select few will actually enjoy this series
It's rated Rx - Hentai for a reason, don't ignore it - this is absolutely not for anybody who is not into hardcore BSDM
Please note this review may offend some, because of the graphic nature of the OVA, I can't really dance around what is going on - I am going to be rather frank here.

With that all out of the way, onto the review.

Story - 6/10 - Fair
Well, good enough story - but who actually pays attention to ... the story in a hentai anyway? All it serves is to get us to the next sex scene, which is what this one does. It could be easily summed up as this - a bunch of girls are trapped inside of a castle, and are forced to commit depraved acts of sexuality on their master and his friends. Good story? Not really. Fair story? Yeah, it gets to the next screwing scene rather quick, so the rather recycled story is forgivable.

Art - 9/10 - Great
Good detail is put into each of the characters, and they look very good. The breasts of the females are detailed accordingly, and their size and shape (most of the time) looks very nice. A few instances happen in which the breasts are blown to giant size, but that is all. The vagina and anus are detailed too, when the girls defaecate it looks pretty good and is detailed. The semen and phallus' are detailed as well, although they are made so huge that it is unbelievable. The sexual devices are also very nice looking, and detailed. The toys are creative and some of them I had never though of.

Sound - ??/10 - ???

Character - 7/10 - Good
The characters are all rather stock, little development is put into them. The girls are all very cute and all have a fetish that they are into, and are treated as such. The male characters are downright scary though. All the females are made very attractive and respond well when they are having sex. There really isn't much to say here, as in Hentai, and in Pornography in general - the characters don't really matter besides them being hot. They are hot. So they pass.

Enjoyment - 8/10 - Very Good
This is my first 'BDSM/Hardcore Fetish' hentai I have ever watched, and I enjoyed it, although afterwards I felt like a seriously sick person. I wouldn't rewatch it because at some parts, it just gets downright gross, and it is rather memorable. If you are looking to be shocked (which I was when I found this series) this is the series for you. I will say that 90% of the people who attempt to watch this who are like me and aren't sexually attracted to this kind of stuff, will probably turn it off within the first ten minuets out of disgust.

Overall - 7/10 - Good
Shock packed hentai that will either leave you begging for more or revolted in disgust. I was the latter. If you are looking for a good shock or are a hardcore compulsive fetishist,this is the series for you. Oh, and this review would not be complete without...

MAL rates this as an 'Rx - Hentai' but I would say that it is still an Rx, but not strictly a hentai. It has scenes of full penetration sex, and nudity, but it serves only to further the plot and help you understand the characters. Take this into mind that this is not a hentai, but has the graphic sexual content of one.

Story: - 8/10 - Very Good
The story in this OVA is rather hard to describe without giving many spoilers, but essentially it is about a teenage girl who is involved with a crooked cop after her parents are murdered, who makes her ... and another boy kill people who have done wrong. Doesn't sound special, does it? Seems we have seen things like this before, right? Wrong. This OVA provides so many subtle plot twists and turns that until the end of the show, you have no clue what is going on. Let me continue to warn you though, it is very, very graphic.

Art - 10/10 - Outstanding
Even by today's standards, the art in this is beautiful. The characters are well-designed, the layout of the rooms and city is good, and the backgrounds are detailed to the point of insanity. This OVA is about ten years old too boot, which makes the art even more impressive. Blood and gore is used heavily, but not in situations that it wouldn't be appropriate, and it is semi-believable considering the weapons the people are using for the killing.

Sound - ?/10 - ???
I can't comment on the sound, as I watched this on my computer, and my sound is broken. I would imagine that it would be good though. See other reviews to see how the sound is.

Character - 7/10 - Good
The characters in this OVA are actually rather good considering it's length. The line between hero and villain is stepped on many times. The character development in this series is very good too, as I have said before, it keeps you guessing who-did-what the entire show, and keeps you on edge. There are not many characters though, but the ones that are, they are put together nicely and have believable personalities.

Enjoyment - 10/10 - Outstanding
I haven't enjoyed an Anime this much is a long time. Too bad it is only 2 episodes. I would probably re-watch it if I had time, but it is rather memorable.

Overall - 8/10 - Very Good
Once you watch Kite, you will not forget it. It is an anime that is truly unique from it's counterparts, in a way that some thought to be impossible. A final warning is that this anime contains rape, blood and gore, full nudity, sex, mild cursing, and sex scenes involving characters whose age is hard to determine. I would say that this series would be alright for people who are looking for an anime that pushes the envelope on what is publishable. For the weak of heart - stay away, you will be revolted beyond belief.

Note: This anime may not be for everyone. This is possibility the most ecchi anime I have ever seen, and will ever see.

Story (1/10) - There really is no story. This is a rather short OVA, being only two episodes, but everything that happens in the series really is just setting you up for more fan service and ecchi-ness, which is really all this is. If you are looking for a great romance comedy, go elsewhere. This anime was handmade for heterosexual males ages 13-21, and it shows. The story is really a just excuse to show seriously over sized tits (which is really ... funny).

Art (7/10) - The art is actually pretty good. All of the girls are drawn rather nicely and sexy, and the backgrounds are detailed enough for you to see what is going on but not be overloaded, and distract you from the real purpose of this show - titty. Yeah, If you don't like tits, don't even bother watching this anime. The female characters are insanely hot, and have great bodies. This is what pumped it up to a seven out of ten, otherwise it would be probably a four.

Sound (8/10) - Average sound. Not to great, not to bad. Nothing to really say here. The dialog in some parts is so funny that it will bring you to tears though.

Characters (5/10) - Again, the characters have really no depth and are just there to flaunt their chests, which there is really nothing wrong with, it just might not be for everybody. You really don't get to know the characters or anything, but then again this series is only 2 episodes.

Enjoyment (10/10) - Oh god. I love this series despite how people often cite it as the worst anime ever made. I massively enjoyed this ecchi-fest of boobs. I would say every open-minded straight male would like this series a whole bunch. Girls - don't even try to watch this one, you will be disgusted. I have watched this series twice, and I can say it has some pretty good rewatch value, because it is pretty easy to masturba-- err.... Marathon this series!

Overall (7/10) - Good series, pulls off what it needs to and is mercifully short. If you are bored, watch it.
