...then you might like Black Clover add

Black Clover isn’t very popular right now, which is understandable since it came out not too long ago, but people are already drawing comparisons to Naruto and saying that it’s just a rip off. Being a Naruto fan myself I wanted to check it out. These are the 5 comparisons to Naruto I have found throughout the series. 1. The Emperor Magus / Hokage: This is probably the most obvious one. Like Naruto, Aster (the main character) wants to be the head honcho. 2. Mage vs Demon / The 4th vs The Ninetails: In Naruto the 4th Hokage fights a gigantic fox with 9 tails that tries to destroy the Leaf Village. Similarly in Black Clover a Mage saves the kingdom of Clover from a giant Demon. 3. Aster and Demon vs Naruto and Ninetails: Both are young kids who have some otherworldly being inside of them. 4. Rivals: In almost every shonen comic the main character has a rival. Someone that pushes them to get better and to grow one way or the other. Black Clover is no exception. 5. Exams: I felt that I’d include this just incase someone brought it up, but there’s not much here. Both stories had Exams to take which is pretty common in anime along with tournaments. Conclusion: Both stories share similar ideas, but they attack those ideas differently. Exams, rivals, and demons are all tropes that have been used in anime and manga for a while now, so to say Black Clover is ripping off Naruto isn’t really true. The author is just using ideas that are common for shonen type comics and eastern comics in general and putting a new spin on it.
