From the beginning the manga isn't something that's going to blow you away. Definitely feels like other martial arts shows with ecchi elements like Kenichi or Tenjo Tenge (anime adaptation). But it seemed like it would at least be enjoyable and it was for the first half. The first half felt like a 6.5, but after chapter 24 it goes down hill. They rapidly introduce new characters and try to introduce new plot threads while wrapping up old ones. I very much get the feel that the author may have been pressured to cut the manga short since the last 20 chapters are riddled with ... blatant references, is extremely rushed and is just bland overall. Being generous I'd give the last half a 4 and that leaves me somewhere in the middle with a 5. I remember dropping it at exactly chapter 24 a couple of years ago, but coming back to it I got a conclusion. Sadly, it wasn't at all satisfying.
