Seems like this could become one of those underrated gems primed for an anime adaptation. Majo to Youhei introduces an intriguing story that hooks readers early on, though the pacing can feel slightly rushed at first—but that doesn’t detract much from its appeal. For fans of romance with a realistic edge, this manga is a refreshing read. The main characters have an engaging dynamic, especially with one protagonist embodying a stone-cold, emotionless persona (who also happens to be an overpowered, potentially lethal figure). It adds a unique tension and depth to the relationship that feels both compelling and believable.
All in all, Majo to Youhei is
...
a solid, enjoyable read for those who enjoy a realistic take on romance alongside a hint of the supernatural. It’s one to watch for sure.

A story on its own in the universe of the hard love life of nerds. I love it honestly, a very heart-racing story of falling in love, their first exchanges. You can clearly see how the connection grows from team captains to something more.
The story is well written, a nice flashback on high school life of the two main characters of the show, the only thing that's sad is that we didn't get more episodes out of this, as it could easily be a story on its own.
When it comes to OVA's I really don't like them as most of the time they
...
don't really give you anything important to the story, but this one just blew my mind.
Expecting just some random side story, I got to experience when the main characters were in high school and had their first contacts.
All in all worth watching even if you didn't watch the show. It will spoil a few things just a warning.

As a former basketball player, and current coach, I have maybe a different perspective on this as a whole, as my whole life was in Basketball and will be forever.
One thing is for sure, this happens in basketball. When you meet athletes you will notice that most of them are very positive people and the reason why is simple, sports are hard.
I know it might seem easy to some, seeing people just playing a game, but honestly, when I was playing I was having two practices per day with my team plus at least one or two more, I was a bench warmer at best.
...
To make it in basketball you need a lot of skill, a lot of heart, and a lot of luck. But let's get to the anime(whoever wants to know more about basketball write me).
The anime is your standard basketball anime, with a bunch of differently skilled guys who band together to form a team. What makes it a bit stand out is the comparison to birds. It's the first time I read or watched that players are compared to birds.
We see them face difficult challenges in their own lifes, as in the sport they love. Which for me makes it really realistic. I love kuruko no basket, and it does a great job portraying basketball as a realistic sport, but, some of the moves and things are really like magic, a bit too much emphasised.
Her we have pure basketball, with the pain of being short, the pain of lossing and the joy of being a team.
It really motivated me, and I must say, it is a fun show to watch, to see the other side that people don't often show for athletes, THE SACRIFICES!
Long practices in the night, putting aside games, fun adventures and other things for the sake of basketball and the team your on, a lot of those things aren't shown in most animes, while this one creates a great balance between the reward and the sacrifices/hard work that was invested for it.
In general this is a great anime for anime sports fans, for those who love motivating stories, and for those who enjoy watching someone overcome big hurdles and break the sterotypes. And it's not only the team we follow, but it seems like we get to see a bit more of struggle and happiness from the other teams. Unlike in other basketball animes, this is not focused 98% only on basketball, but on the life of them outside of it.
While Kuruko No Basket was mostly like pro high school players, this one is the underdog.
Ahiru no Sora is a great watch, and I hope you'll give it a shot.

The only problem I had with this anime is that the story was too short. It's an anime in which time seems to flow like in real life hence we notice the time that has passed yet somehow it feels all natural and that we already know what happened in those days, hours and minuts that passed by.
Probably one of the most successful animes of this winter season, and I must say it pleasantly surpised me. I was reluctant to watch it due to the harem atmosphere that it had around it, but when I watched it I was left without words. It was nothing
...
what I thought it would be. Not a harem like scenario, no mc that all the freaking girls love, no overpowered people (well this is a bit debatable) and the best of all not too many ecchi scenes or corny jokes.
Comedy wise it was a gift of the gods of anime. I laughed way too hard in way too many episode, hence I consider this one to be my favorite comedy anime in this year so far.
So what are the good things about this anime:
Good story, surprisingly has a unique feel to it, like you are watching a new genre and not the same overused game anime world setting.
Epic characters that are very interesting to know, there isn't too much back story, but they are fun.
Great Animation and art.
The sound is also good, love the voice actresses and actors, they fit the characters perfectly .
Comedy gold, a must watch for comedy lovers.
Doesn't give of the harem vibe that similar animes do.
Season two is announced, I am so happy.
There is a gamelike feel to it, but it feels like more real than all the other animes in this genre, even though it's comedy....don't ask me how this is the best I can explain it.
The character development was great, they naturally develop bonds and build friendships, it was fascinating to watch.
The Negatives:
Lack of the backstories is bothering, I mean after all I love those kind of details, but this is just preference.
The story is told as it's a long story, yet somehow I feel that there is so much more room for more events and epic things, but that may be just me.
Anyway can't wait for the second season.

Slice of life at is best I guess, mix in a bit of comedy and a bit of otaku lifestyle and you got the perfect casual anime to watch while waiting for new animes to come out.
I enjoyed my time watching the members of the Visual Media Study Club, aka Genshiken, live their life in their own pace. It's an interesting anime, but doesn't have a deeper story behind it, which might be a turn of for many like myself.
When you usually hear otaku anime, then you assume that this one will be about otakus who somehow got in situations where they can spy
...
on girls or where hot girls fall in love with them for one reason or another (Harems and such), but this one is different, there is almost 0 ecchi scenes and there is some romance so it's not that bad.
Keeping things short as always, here are the good things:
Chill story.
Good characters, a very interesting group of individuals coming together with the same goal.
Nice art and sound, the opening I found very good.
Very enjoyable to watch.
The Bad things:
Not deep enough, but it's slice of life so this might be on the neutral list.
Romance is minimal which is kind of a personal turn off.
Not enough action.

Mixed feelings from the start about this movie, but once I watched I could conform that it is good, but average in my opinion. Hosoda, Mamoru made a few amazing movies, but this one just didn't do it for me, but as you know I am not big on time traveling, so that might be the reason why.
Keeping it short, the anime is nice to watch, it might give someone a refreshing view on high school life, but as far as time travel goes it's the same as every other thing.
The story lacks uniqueness and that special feeling that amazing animes give off
...
while you watch them. But don't get me wrong the anime is not bad, it's just average for me, someone else will surely disagree and even love this anime.
So the good things about this:
Great Characters.
A good story telling so you won't get lost due to so much time traveling.
Nice music.
The bad:
Average story, and an average feel to it.

Who would say that I would find something amazing in such a silly title?
I thought it would be the general I'll get strong type of anime that will just be about some weakling surpassing a beast and being the king of something or saving the world...well certainly it seems that it was that kind of anime but the story, the emotions, the art, the characters and their ways are the things that made this anime movie one of the most interesting ones out there, at least for me.
It has everything you wish for in a good movie, the hero, the anti hero, the
...
villain and so much more.
The hole movie sends this massage to me "No matter what you look like, no matter what you feel, you are only as strong as you are kind." , and to me that's a great message.
If you read some of my other reviews, I am sure you know by now that I keep em short, so here are the good parts:
Amazing Feels.
Very deep story, and amazing way of telling it.
Lovable characters that are drawn perfectly, voiced perfectly as well.
Great music.
Enjoyment to the max for every age I think.
Just amazing.

I went into this anime with low expectations that weren't fulfilled, lucky me. But then again it's a kind of anime that isn't nor epic nor bad, it's average in most ways except the characters, which I found great. The whole theme was interesting and the story didn't lack the explosive elements, but there was something that was missing for the big boom. It's like the story doesn't make you want to live in that world even with the amazing creatures that inhabit it.
All in all it is a decent anime to watch, and I would recommend it to people who enjoy a comedic,
...
yet heroic main hero. Kane-kun fulfills the role of the anti hero rather good, and I must say I enjoyed him as character.
That all being said, I, like always, will keep it short and say, it's an anime worth watching due to the following factors:
Good Characters
Superb Art
Good Sound
A decent story with unique features, but not so connected
Nice comedy
The Negatives were:
Some huge plot holes
Not a clear ending (I am hopeful for a season 2), yet somehow they managed to rush it.
It seems like there are too many important side characters, whos story isn't shown.
I hope you enjoyed my review, have a nice day.

Well it's an enjoyable rom-com to watch but then again I have the one character that I hate a lot, Benio. That girl is just beyond creepy and annoying, but lets put that aside.
The anime is entertaining and almost never let's you rest, you know like some anime scenes show you the landscape or such to create a right scene. This one is just action all the time, you have no time to rest before another clumsy thing or romantic thing happens.
I will keep this as short as possible as I do not enjoy spoiling things nor telling people what they should like
...
or not, I will just say it how it is.
This anime is a great one to just watch and relax, if you are into rom-coms that are constantly surprising you, most of the time it's expected but then again there are a few things that are unusual as well.
All in all it's a generic rom-com that has enjoyable character, except for Benio whom I dislike, and a sort of good plot without too much development. It's purely an anime that has one purpose, at least for me, and that is to occupy some free time before a new episode of a series that I find godlike is out.

It starts you off with the cliche boy running after girl and stuff like that but do not be fulled. The art is amazing and the story has a really intense plot twist, but it is also rushed.
The experience will differ for each reader, as for me I loved it due to the plot twist and it's wonderful art style.
To not spoil everything let's cut it short shall we?
This manga is for those of you who like a boy chasing a girl love stories that have a happy ending, I won't spoil what kind of happy ending it is but just know that
...
the boy fails at chasing, tha's all I will spoil. So let's move on.
If you like a nice drawing style, with detailed eyes and pretty things, you should read this manga.
One thing bothered me a lot, the rushed ending. It ended just to fast and there is I think a lot of room to add at least one more volume.
