The plot was ok. I enjoyed the fact that we got to see more of the life's of the vampires and the background lore of a good chunk of the characters. However a lot of it felt a little too rushed and/or shoehorned in. Certain aspects of the story were a little rough to follow like the hunters association president turned out to have been drinking vampire blood to stay young, that just seemed to kind of come out of nowhere. And the association breeding it's own level E's was an interesting point that I ... think they could have done more with. The interactions of Zero and Kaname kind of let me down they kept hyping up[ some big showdown between the two.

The character Development was just OK. I feel like they could have done more with character interactions between Kaname, Yuki, and Zero. Yuki seemed to go from a "goody 2 shoes" character to a "goody 2 shoes" with a hero complex character. I feel like they could have done a better job showing Yukis struggle with her emotions primarily through Kaname and Zero. Like maybe they could have had more Zero and Kaname scuffles and Yuki keeps interjecting herself to stop them. Yuki has shown that she has feelings of love for both of them and they could have had her kind of flip flop between which one she was after, kind of a "which do I choose situation". However I do like the "inverse" concept they seem to have going where what they desire seems to cause the opposite to happen, it's subtle but well placed throught the characters emotions.

All in all the shown was fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to try and get someone to see it but I also won't try to dissuade someone who is interested from watching it. It's worth, what I call, a "passive watch" if you are board and have nothing else to watch I would give it a go.

P.S. Yuki should have ended up with zero. Dropped a whole point because she went with Kaname. (NOT OK)

I will be honest I'm not the best at writing reviews but I will do the best I can here. I do feel like this show is pretty underrated. So let me go over what, in my opinion, is good, bad, and confusing about this pretty decent series.

THE GOOD:
So the plot was actually very enjoyable. The whole idea about characters in a digital world and being self aware of that fact is a hard thing to pull off. A lot of originality existed within the plot.

Clichés left to a bare minimum you almost never saw something that you have seen a million ... times before.

Character development was actually done magnificently. The concept of a main character being driven by hatred and develop in such a good way isn't easy to do. It's especially difficult to do in such a fluently progressive manner. The rest of the characters stick to the personalities that they establish quite well too.

The art style is unique. And I liked it.


THE BAD:
Although the plot is done really well it still has some major flaws. Sometimes the characters are explaining how something works and they stop halfway through. The worlds rules are never really established in a concrete manor.

Some of the episodes had scenes after the credits for the next episode but not in the next episode. This type of move can really confuse people and hurts any kind of consistency.

"And then I Died"

This quotes was so overused for certain characters that we already had suspicion weren't going to last. And they would have half episode long explanations as to what happened to them. Like a simple flashback in the middle of the situation would have flowed much better and keeping it more simple wouldn't have hurt the process of establishing the characters.


THE CONFUSING.
So there were multiple instances of something happening and being done well but still leaving you confused. A certain character popping up out of nowhere to give exposition that only made the situation more confusing. Flashbacks without context. And the most confusing part was the ending, or should I call it an epilogue since it was shown after the credits? I don't know I'm confused.


CONCLUSION:
Overall I would say this show, as I stated in the introduction, is underrated. It's definitely worth a watch (if you have seen stay night) I give it a solid 7/10. Nothing spectacular but not nearly as bad as the people seem to think it is, in my opinion at least.

P.S. I didn't know the proper place to put this so I will footnote it. I think a lot of people get mad at this show because it acts like it's audience has seen stay night. And to that I say it's their own fault if something like "Extra", "Encore", any number of 2 or more is in the title it should be immediately assumed to be a sequel and sequels always act like the viewer has seen it's predecessor.

I will try to keep it short and sweet.

This movie was the perfect end to the perfect adaptation. The ending of the movie left you questioning weather he was really there or not. It had so many emotional scenes, moments that jerked at your heart strings.

Personally I always loved Sakura as a character but in the original stay night and UBW she didn't really do much. The Heavens feel adaptation gave me the character growth that I wanted set up the couple I wanted to see and held nothing back. Every second I was on the edge of my seat because anything could ... happen and at any point some major event could take place.

Everything was just so perfectly executed in Heavens feel.

P.S. Lancer is underrated and deserves more

The premise of a darker and more shady story with so much death in it in the same universe as a usually pretty light series in the main story of index was a great concept. I loved the art style change at the end there to put emphasis on how brutal what was going on actually was. They kept Accelerators personality dedicated to the way he was. The ost was great. The only gripe I would have with it would be the lack of character development in the title character. But I guess the development of Ester was done well too.

It really, really, REALLY pains me to say this as a major FT fan but this movie over all...... kind of sucked. I mean I gave it a 7 for overall because it definitely has redeeming qualities such as the red happy and him fighting a doggo was kind of funny.

The story felt kind of dragged like most of the plot points being repeated over and over again. Cinema sins would have skyrocket numbers for "Roll credits" they say the freaking title needlessly so many times. The main group losing a fight then somehow able to beat them because "fuck you that's how". ... They didn't even try to hint at some kind of "Overcoming an obstacle" plan. It was just "we lost once ok now we will win because who cares?" the King Animus
being the same person as Sonya was an interesting idea that Failed to live up to it's potential. And then poof a dragon appears and the Dragon vs Natsu fight could have been done much better. The plot is also VERY forgettable.


I don't know it just didn't live up to the hype or expectations. Out of all things Fairy Tail this is by far the worst.

This is an Amazing movie. I see very little wrong with anything on it, and the things I see wrong are so minor they are irrelevant. The emotion was so perfect it's very clear that they put their hearts and souls into this masterpiece. The way the psychological thinking was done with the characters was so perfect and there is also the fact that I could empathize with both of the people who were going through such turmoil was astounding.

I just can not do this movie Justice I feel like ... giving it a 10/10 doesn't give it enough credit.

Obviously this show went over a lot of people heads. It was actually an amazing anime. The fact that it was able to surprise without losing consistency and keep on point all while being clear what's going on was a fantastic asset.

The incorporation of gods and the references to famous medieval people was brilliantly done.

The show also incorporated the use of Happiness and Despair to a perfect degree. A lot of original Ideas came out of it. No other anime that I have watched has used a plot like that before.

The only real criticism that can be had here is the deus ex ... revive.

Overall the show deserves a 9/10 at worst.

The Anime lost ratings on a couple of things overall is a 6 because of the listed reasons.

1. Dubb taking way too long, even series that came out a year ago are getting dubbed first. Rating loss 1.0

2. The Flashbacks had me constantly saying "That's not what you said" Seriously one scene could have been pulled from episode 2 but they decided to screw it up instead. Rating loss 2.0

3. Just constantly aggravating me with breaking away from the war arc. rating loss 1.0

Now don't get me wrong some fillers were well placed and worked perfectly like Kakashis childhood fillers. HOWEVER as cool ... as it was to see the second chunin exams it should have been SAVED for AFTER the war arc.
