This started off so good. Easily a strong 8 I always wanted a anime where the writer wasn't afraid to make a revenge MC who DOESN'T CARE! The type of MC who will kill ANYONE, and do anything regardless of morality just for revenge. This started off so damn good.
You start the series with witches being hung, and people cheering. You emphasize the fact that witches ARE BEING HUNTED TO EXTINCTION! Why on gods green earth would you include a character that GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING WITH THIS STORY!? Why is there a character who refuses to fight the humans?! This character has watched witches get
...
killed! In the first episode, she was about to be sold off as a S3X Slave for Christ sake!
I wish I could give this a 0. I have never seen an Anime ruin a story so badly, and by one character.

Yes. It's that bad. It's so bad that I couldn't even make it past two chapters. 5 pages into Chapter 2 and I stopped, dropped, and rolled my eyes at the fact this is an actual manga, and not some kids fantasy.
In the first chapter we get yet another MC with a "trash skill", that yet again no one in the world decides to do a simple week of research. Because of this, MC is bullied and treated like trash. He's disowned, thrown away by his fiancee, and is treated as a slave by his family. Then we get a time skip of 2 years
...
for MC to make a realization that NO ONE thought about. MC gets his level reset, but keeps the SP. MC decides to leave his house deciding to get revenge. Then we get another time skip for 5 years. Two time skips in a single chapter is not only bad writing, but lazy writing.
I mean was there literally nothing interesting happening there? We're told that kingdoms have fallen, and that he trained really hard, but we're never shown that. Literally writing 101 is Show Don't Tell. If the writer can't even be bothered to put in effort to SHOW MC struggling, SHOW the kingdoms falling, and SHOW MC getting revenge. It's pointless. It's just pure lazy, and untalented writing.
Second chapter is where all hope for intelligence is lost. From the writer, to the characters, to the editor, and to the publishers for green lighting such a big pile of garbage. MC finds out he needs the skill crystal to get skills with his SP. So he finds one, and instead of stealing it, or doing literally anything else to get it, HE BECOMES A SLAVE WILLINGLY! Remember. MC was being treated as a slave by his own family, vowed revenge, and left. But he will forget all that and literally become a slave, where he can't do anything of his own free will, all for a crystal that he could've easily stolen from the lady, or killed the lady who had it.

Okay. I have just finished reading Volume 4 and I have to say I have never flip flopped my feelings so much on a series as this one.
I have a few issues with this series , and since I've just finished Volume 4, I can give my honest review of this series. It's another Isekai, so there's that. Not saying it's bad because it's an Isekai. I'm just saying it up front.
Okay. My first issue with this series is that there is currently no end goal. Now this is a small gripe. No demon lord, No saving humanity, no nothing. Just a class that got
...
sent to another world for some reason. Nothing wrong with that. glad that it isn't yet another kill demon lord and save humanity Isekai plot. But this goes into my second issue.
My second issue is that every book so far has had its own story. However, a huge portion of the book has NOTHING to deal with the story in the book. The first book is a great example of this. The first 400 or so pages, nothing is indicating about some bad guy, then out of no where, there's a bad guy introduced in the last 149 pages that our MC must defeat because.... Not really much of a reason is even given. Bad guy literally shows up out of left field, and is bad. Speaking of MC, this has to be my biggest gripe with this series.
My third issue is the MC. His name is Haruka. He is the sole reason I have switched my opinions so many times. At some points he is competent, and other times he is a complete annoyance. He acts like a stuttering moron speaking in a incoherent language for the majority of the story. He somehow always make people hate him, yet they still like him. I don't get how the other characters can be like that. He sometimes goes into incoherent rantings and ramblings that either incorporate some of what was just said to him, or incoherent rantings and ramblings and just flat out ignore other people. Haruka also adamantly refuses to remember names and just make names up and he gives those names to other people. It doesn't matter who they are, royalty, classmates, anyone. Speaking of which.
My fourth issue. Due to Haruka giving made up names to everyone, the majority of the story doesn't even have their real names. When we look away from Haruka in little Interludes sprinkled throughout the story, they use their real names. But since we've been following Haruka for most of the time, I literally have no idea who they are talking about in these Interludes. I get confused because we have two separate groups calling the same people two different names.
I've had to try the first volume three times to get into the series. Even then it was just barely. I would've just stopped at first, but something kept telling me to buy it. I honestly don't know what it is, but it's what's caused me to buy the first volume three times. In my honest opinion, I would just skip this.
