It would’ve been an 8/10 for me if Tatsumi and Wakasa kisses at the last episode. Y’all queer baited enough, so why not sneak in a little kiss? This anime was so whole. I liked the characters, they made me laugh personally…except for that creepy little sister. The story was different, maybe they could’ve done more but the episodes are literally 3 minutes long if you take out the op (ugly opening song btw, deserves better tbh). Also what I found interesting is the fact that the episodes dropped little facts about sea creatures, that was “quirky” I guess. Unpredictable imo but lowkey I didn’t
...
like the art style too much, the hair was like peeving me. Required taste I’d say for the fact that the episodes are short.

When you realize that this anime is a metaphor for life and not take it as a little hit and run from some enigmatic delinquent. When it came to episode 11 with Misae, a sickly and dedicated wife of a detective find the courage to give up on seeking treatment just to confront the Lil' Slugger, hearing her words spoke volumes, no matter how bad life gets and decrepancies terrorize our lives, we must keep pushing and move forward, being resilient. Masami Hirukawa, a corrupt detective who entps his own daughter in a room with a camera, does drugs to cope with pressure but he
...
isn't aware of his capability of breaking free some his illness.
"Humans are not as weak as he thinks they are - they are strong enough to face reality and don't need a fantasy world for escape." -Misae says then quickly the Lil Slugger vanishes shows that if we tackle our demons, they can go away, we are more capable than we know sometimes because when we are in a crisis, we lose ourselves and may feel unworthy of any type or recovery because we feel like it's too late. Misae was the only character who confronted this enigma, after the first story being about the victimination of Sagi and he vanished, very low on health, with the determination and fearless belief, she stood up to trouble.
The level-headed Mitsuhiro and short-tempered Keiichi, goes through witnesses to see the pattern in which the events from the Shounen Bat are happening. Keiichi is very frustrating lol he has ver low patience for someone who "solves cases." Mitsuhiro is the most relatable one of the two and after finding the patterns, confronting an old man, finding out that this dog mascot named Maromi and the Lil Slugger are the same entities, the dog died in a car accident when Sagi let go of her dog leash accidently, this also shows at what point she started to lose it. You can see it as another life analogy, that when we lose focus on ourselves and our surroundings, that's when problems swoop in, we have to be careful with our lives and have stability. 2 years later after Tokyo is free from the monsters in the city of Musashino, the characters are not a little bit older and continued on with their lives, some pursuing the same jobs and some who went a different route. At first it felt like the story was slow but towards the end, I started to see a deeper meaning when everything started to come more together when Misae was introduced into the story.

This anime was an emotional rollercoaster because you can feel, especially the last episode, how much it means to make a hit, it was giving me anxiety when there were some archers who took their time to get their stance and line things up. I almost cried 3 TIMES, the last episode I was literally holding my face, telling myself "you never cry while watching something, don't cry now over a sports anime like this" lol.
I suggest anyone who is having an existential crisis/ has fallen out of something they loved, strayed away from their dreams, just let self-doubt and turmoil take them, to watch
...
this anime and examine why you wanted your dream to be your dream initially, what exactly made you excited about it? At what point did I decide to abandon my dream? did I actually love it in the first place? Why did I think things that I truly cared about, wouldn't require ups and downs? When did I feel like I wasn't worthy?
This anime was for me personally, a reality check, it puts everything in perspective with your own life. Seeing Narumiya conquer his anxiety speaks volume to people and give an epiphany that we are our biggest nightmares first and before anything. Also, those mental illnesses are evil mind games at times. I honestly would've given the anime a 9/10 but there were very little character development on the girls at all, it's like they dropped them there to seem inclusive to girls...but the girls [SPOILER] weren't even in the finals lol. They were just there sometimes, they never really sat with the boys, the boys acted very awkwardly towards them, and the girls were always just side-kicks on a totally different table LITERALLY. Such awkward chemistry and it felt like the girls had to keep reminding them of their existence and it was kinda sad, if that was the case, they didn't need to be included into the anime.
Minato, a first year at Kazemai abandoned his dream and forget the sound of Tsurune when he was in an accident and lost his mom but reunioned with an old classmate named Seiya who was a Kirisaki student with Minato when they were younger, helps him to come back to what he ran away from. shouldn't we all have a friend like Seiya? We NEED a friend like this, yes. Minato was reluctant on joining a club until convinced by another person he went to school with previously, his name is Kohei. Even with joining the club, he wasn't sold on staying until on night he finds a handsome young teacher named Masaki who was asked to be a coach by Morioka-sensei who is another ace archer. They join the team and meet 2 very different people. Kaito who was by far the most annoying character in the whole anime, bad-tempered, always yelling but he cares about archery so with him is his friend Kanao who isn't serious about archery, he like the uniforms and wants to impress his fan club.
Kanao reminds me of that kpop idol Baekhyun so much, the similarities are there! Also, they run into an old face who is still in Kirisaki, meets new people, and there was even a conflict between 3 people which always makes an anime seem realistic, especially when done in a good way.
All and all, it was enjoyable, tear-jerking and it's best if you watched it for yourself and self reflect on your life after. I feel like sports anime generally makes you examine things differently, you can learn from this genre and it's very beautiful.

If you like disappointments and pieces of shits in your life, this is the manga for you and also this is very sad if you encourage people like the main male character Sei.
The dramatic synopsis made me really think I would enjoy this manga. So to that idiot who told me "if it has a good plot, then it's gonna be good, anime or manga without a great plot isn't worth the time." Lemme tell you that reading this shit was a waste of time like you literally have the typical weak and dumb female protagonist named Tsuchida who tries so hard to impress
...
stupid men who she shouldn't give the time of the day to. Both men in her life don't respect her at all. Her precious ex Hagio is a womanizer and she literally knows "he has other women, is a womanizer, and not a nice person but I like the way he makes me feel. That emotionless look in his face scares me but shortly after lately he smiles, he's always smiling." This doesn't even make any sense whatsoever lol.
Her ex is cold hearted and her man that lives with her mooches off of her and he depends on her like a man child. He has no motivation at all, no plan B, doesn't help support her or offer to do shit for her but has the nerve to complain about Hingis as if he pays the bills. He's literally a loser and the type of guy a parent doesn't want their daughter to be put with at all, he's just extremely annoying and fucking pathetic. When they get back together, he goes back to ordering her around as if nothing happened. She always have to do things for the guy sooo... her broke ass ex couldn't pay for the hotel, so she..tight on money paid to buy him beer and that hotel just to fuck him, cheat on her loser current bf until the same loser breaks up with him because he "wants her to have a happier life and a man who'll treat her right."
When she breaks up...ofc the dumb broad goes back to her womanizer ex who finally says "I only liked you when you had a boyfriend, maybe we should split up." Now her friend warned her so many times but being the pathetic shell of a woman she is, out of money, she made sacrifices for men...finally invites her last bf that just left Sei to "come back home so she can cook him something good," in what's looks like they're going back to the same routine of him be a controlling loser and failed musician. Saying things like "how long do I have to wait to eat" I'm sorry but maybe your punk ass should idk help out, get a stable job, learn how to cook instead of being a whiny adult child and crying all the time, you're a grown man. She's just stupid honestly lol.

Is it bad that I enjoyed this and it's more entertaining than. Blood-C? It's really interesting, it shows how cruel nature is but on the flip side, this is life. In order to survive, you have to make sacrifices even if you're a mantis hunting after a cicada. Nature is also beautiful however, you have the other insects on the cicada's side then with the cricket as they prevent the mantis from eating them but it is a little unfair because all the mantis wants to do is survive. This 5 minute duration movie shows survival and that you should watch your back nonetheless, like

By far my favorite anime of all time! This art for the animation is so abstract and different, that's what really enticed me about this anime when I first saw the art style. I'm also a fan of sports like ping ping, badminton, and hockey so this was a joy to see. The characters were greatly developed but I like how the main character makes you feel his emotions and inspire you, it's more than a show. "The hero wins," I feel like Peco gave inspiration in everybody who watches this. It was also pretty amazing how they showed the trouble that the ping pong

This was a surprisingly great anime, I did feel bad for how harsh the abuse was lol but it was watchable, the character development was very unique, and the last episode had you very curious, it was kinda like a cliff hanger. I very much enjoyed this and I'm really picky when it comes to anime. I don't think there's anything I disliked about this anime, the anime pretty much played with my emotions lol felt sympathy, then angry, the relieved, it was great, I don't think any of my friends have any bad to say about it either, it was interesting.
