Preliminary (6/? chp)
I read 6 chapters and I couldn't continue any further. It's not the setting, nor is it the over-saturated isekai cliche tropes that did it for me, but the fact that the pacing is just horrible. I feel like i'm reading ADHD in manga form.

The story just jumps between random expositions and really makes you feel annoyed at how they're just shoving all this information in so unnaturally. The way time progresses too is just horrible, you think something is about to happen, nah, a few days jump cut please, oh they've been invited to stay the night at the princess' estate, nah don't ...

As romances go, I love this anime so incredibly dearly. Though the ending was definitely bitter sweet, it is an enjoyable sweetness. Hiro and Zero Two have both incredible character developments with one of the most lovely and touching relationships I've witnessed in an anime in a long while.

The story revolving around the idea of two entities being incomplete without another is truly a heart warming concept, and when it was done with the metaphor of the one winged bird, needing a partner to fly, to survive, to reach their full potential.

A world where humanity has lost what it means to be human. The ...

Killing Bites (Anime) add
FunnyFunny
To keep it short.

Too much rape. Pretty grim stuff, a couple of people are raped and Cheetah gets aggressively molested. Main male protagonist is pretty much background noise in a cafe, not important one bit. Hitomi is rather sexy with a severe dad complex. Usagi Chan was a cutey, would protect. That ending was, well... bad.
A bizarre animal-human hybrid dystopia? alrighty then.

It's not a nice world this takes place in. It is a very sad place. Everyone has an ulterior motive, people get killed for no real purpose, the people who should die, don't, rape is common sight. This does not make me happy.

Tokyo Ravens (Anime) add
My perspective is one that is most moved and motivated on the romantic genre of anime, I'm a sap for a good relationship story. If you don't care about romance, my opinions won't matter to you.

Tokyo Ravens, is not that. It starts of with a bit of netorare (Which I despise) when the love interest is forced to see a stolen first kiss.

The main male protagonist, Harutora, is your generic love-blind simple minded fool, who couldn't read the atmosphere even if a hose was attached to the exhaust of a car they're sitting blissfully and ignorantly inside.

Natsume was a sweet love interest, who I genuinely ...

Mixed Feelings
Kabaneri started off amazingly strong, with a steady pace of story and action. Set in a steampunk Japan with zombies and an initially badass duo of protagonists. Suddenly this progressive story and endearing character development is dropped on its head. As soon as the Shogun's Son appears, everything is down hill from there. A tedious tug of war of masquerading lies and weak personalities. With normal humans constantly getting the advantage over Ikoma, it gets tiring fast.

I give this Anime a heart wretched 5: It had gorgeous animation, stunning character design, an interesting universe that could have taken it in so many directions, but ...
