I'll get straight to the point without beating around the bush too much.
I call this anime: How to have great story potential and being a fan of Disney endings. Let me summarize this for you, this anime let's you down harder than Hanesaki's mother abandoned her. I rated this a 6 because the animation and character's are pretty cool and all, but seriously that ending is so frustrating. So many design choices that make you wonder why did you not chose a less "mainstream" road.
ANYWAYS, please just watch this anime until mid episode 12 and forget the ending please.

Who doesn't appreciate being in an erotic position to ride a mecha robot?
No, seriously that's what this anime is about, or at least what I understood from it. The overall spoiler-free plot is that of a group of children that are striving to get better at piloting robots and defeating weird creatures. They are called parasytes for an unknown reason (#Kiseijuu good anime). The PV was amazing. The animation left me in awe and yet the end result is different from what we expected.
Story: The actual story potential is limitless, a young girl that was viewed as a war machine that was transformed by someone. She needs to adapt to the post-war scenario (i.e. get a job, work for the community, socialize etc..) I was interested in what it would turn out to be and it didn't disappoint me. People often say that series (in this case animated series or anime) make people addicted and therefore are bad. I am here to express how being addicted to this anime proves the latter wrong.
If you are looking for an entertaining and amazing plot diversity anime then you must start Case Closed (Detective Conan or Meitantei Conan).
