[SPOILERS AHEAD]
I enjoyed the story for the most part. However, my main complaint is that the first heroine was given so much screen time. A whopping 15 out of the 23 chapters focused on her. The readers are given such a curve ball that even throughout reading the rest of the manga, that bitter taste stayed.
In my opinion, the manga would have been much better if the curve ball didn't happen and the manga ended right there at chapter 15. Instead, the manga goes through another heartbreaking story with the next heroine.
Finally with the third heroine the story ends with no more heartbreaks (in a
...
way). This end is satisfying, but like mentioned previously, the bitter taste of the chapter 15 curve ball stayed with me until the end. Thankfully it didn't drag on with the curve balls.
The characters are well done, especially Yuu. He has his own struggles but manages to get back (rather quickly I must say) on track. The other characters are all good but at the same time I feel that they all moved on from their problems rather quickly.
The story is well... realistic. Not everything goes the way you hope and it's really shown in the manga, whether it be the heartbreaks or the realizations that come from the sex reassignment.
Art is quite nice to look at as well. The heroines are cute and the art is consistent.
Overall this gets a 7/10. Enjoyable, but ultimately lowered due to the initial curve ball (apologies if I keep bringing that up, but that's how much it ruined it for me).
