Rewatched after few years, still gonna say it's masterpiece season.
While art ain't the best the story, light humor and likeable characters are doing their job more than most of new era anime /like mha lmfao - that sh*ts bad af/.
Beating sh*t out of women, old people and basically anyone, 11/10. Bro is savage. Old but still gold.
But for real now (even tho i'm being real even with every statement here), here's actual thoughts wether you should or shouldn't have high hopes.
If looking for story, you are on the right place. Is it better than season 1? Yes. It's rare but imho, this season gets
...
anime on whole new level. Also recommend watching it chronologically, might get you better idea what's going on.

TLDR; took me over month to finish this season, so go figure how optimistic this review will be.
This season brings me back to season 1. I don't care about fillers, for real I don't, since I was hoping it will... spice up(?) this season but not really. Main character is same as in season 1. Making it easier to overcome his bullies and so on so on. That is pretty nice and all, but how does he do it with so ease? It was so convenient for the story and for him as well. Dissapointing. Even Naruto had it tougher and that's something.
I
...
am not gonna write 50-paragraph love letter because nothing at all changed through all seasons. Even villains. Same old ideology with holes bigger than ever in it. Not sure why people were so hyped for this season. It has nothing to offer, even fights/animation got somehow worse. By worse, I mean, not only the animation gets sloppy (somehow) even the fights are basically copy/paste.
In normal anime - dude trains, dude gets destroyed by op villain, dude trains more and barely defeats him, the end.
In Hero academia - dude trains, dude ALMOST loses, but somehow with some willpower or something, just defeats the enemy, the end.
If this happens once, fine, but like 3 out of 4 fights, this particular scenario just repeats itself.
I can continue like this pretty much another 5-6 paragraphs but I've already mentioned stuff in my other reviews of first 3 seasons so I'm not gonna repeat myself. Watch it at your own risk. My mental health is damaged by every season of this bullcrap. Hope, I really do hope, I am not gonna force myself to watch yet another season.

Unfinished and way too fast.
These were my first thought after I finished watching this anime. The anime has HUGE potential. Character design is flawless for idol-themed anime. It has some downsides like matching songs to actual performance which looks... weird? I don't really know how to describe it. Seems pretty unnatural even for anime.
Concept is awesome. It really is and big plus adding actual idols in cosplays, such good idea! Even tho I would like to have 20 min anime instead of 12, nevertheless this was good addition to the series.
Anyway, despite all this, execution of storytelling lacks in so many
...
ways. Yes, they have such a short time to tell the story but... it's just overdoing at this point. Girls prepare and want to do their best to become best idols, well, we all get it but ...there should be more to it. Idea behind this story was to show how hard it is to satisfy everyone and perform on the best level at the same time - at the very least, that's my opinion but all that was squished into 12 min episodes, so basically less than 150 minutes to tell the whole story. Basically not 12 ep series but 6.
If they wanted to do better series they should've just made 20+ min anime with solid storytelling not this half-assed one. Even tho, the anime lacks in so many ways, it got something in it that kept me watching it till the end. Even tho it ended really fast.

Okay, like hey! This is fokin' masterpiece.
First of all, I am not really fan of baseball like at all. But this anime series got me nuts. Watched all previous series and I was really happy finding out it got another one. I watched few other baseball related anime but never got ahold of rules or anything but here... You got shit explained in first season and basically learn new stuff while watching about every position.
Anyway, the season starts when it left off which is on Koshien Stadium. Furuya is Ace and Sawamura is benched even tho has high hopes of pitching in match. Furuya's
...
pitching is pretty nuts and he gets popular cause of his fastballs - news are all over him throwing 153km/h. This got me interested. I've searched for fastest thrown pitch and it was from some pro player around 169km/h. It's higher ofc but this is guy who is like 16-17year old and even tho Japan is known as baseball oriented country as U.S. but 153 is really nuts from my amateur perspective.
Back to the story. Fastforward, Seido is eliminated due to Furuya's giving up two runs in early inning with Komadai. They loses 2-0, also their Ace, pitcher Hongou ignores Furuya's hand after the match and walks away which surprises him. Furuya's performance after losing the match and being knocked-out of the tournament starts to tank it off because of his thinking about failing as an Ace of the Seido. Even Sawamura is crushed by losing so early. Not getting enough space to pitch because of Furuya and then losing without being able to help in any way to prevent it. Both of them wanna improve in their own way, for Furuya defending his Ace number and for Sawamura getting it from him.
Not gonna spoil whole story but it's not only their story. Guys like Miyuki, Kawakami or Ono which are third years already are getting pumped because of their last shot to shine and getting scouted to uni or by some pro team. It's 3-year baseball-oriented high school.
The development of characters is huge. Like really huge. Even side characters got their own story told. Not much of it ofc, but it's enough to get the watching person wondering and cheering for the character or just being sucked in the anime.
I would say it should be even longer anime. Only 50+ episodes are kinda short for me. It got really big potential and could even be toe to toe to the biggest anime like One Piece or Naruto in it's own way and uniqueness. The perspective of bigger character development and different points of view are definetly there. But yes, it was still pleasure to watch. I can't wait for another season to drop, sadly probably the last one I think.
I really recommend watching from season 1. Shit can get you hyped through rooftop! Another masterpiece from Madhouse. Glad Netflix or Crunchyroll didn't put their noses into the production lmao.

Okay, now, this is just my opinion and I am gonna be kinda blunt about it.
Anime itself is good, I mean, at the very least above average. Until like episode 10-11. For starters, animation is American-ish which I don't really mind, it's cool in its own way and kind of getting me back to my childhood. Opening is just chillin' 'n' vibin' basically, same as ending, pretty fitting the anime environment itself.
Story is good, basically superhero-villain crap but not bad at all. Realistic? Yes and no. Of course main roster is just villains in their own way but seems pretty dumb and genius-like
...
in same way? The story got me hooked from the beginning but ...that's it. I was forcing myself to just finish it and be done with it.
Anime loses its tempo way too soon and got repetitive even in those 13 episodes which was kind of sad if you ask me.
Okay, so to the bad part...
Studio Bones. Let's stop here. Don't get me wrong, they've got some really good titles... In the past. Like FMA series, Darker than black, Soul Eater or Cowboy Bebop but... now... BNHA, Mob psycho or Super Crooks(?) like cmon, why you getting so awful in production? Crap after crap.
Netflix, yeah, Netflix. Dude, I am not homophobic but I am starting to be, cause they've put that shit like in every little or big series there. It's tiring dude, it's even mixed in 13-ep. anime about fkin hero x villain. Disgusting how they just promote stuff while killing the series with it. Yeah, it's ruining it. If you want to make a point about something you shouldn't be forcing it EVERYWHERE, cause it doesn't fit at all.
Summary - anime got a potential but it's killed by amateurism and forced promotion of something that doesn't even fit there. I've had high hopes from episodes 1 and 2 but was waste of time. If you want to save yours, just don't watch it. I am not really recommending it. But hey, if it's comedy/chillin'-like environment you are looking for, then go for it, cry later lmao.

Edit: Gonna react with confusing then drop me a message? Nothing about this review is confusing you btchass coward.
TLDR; Do not waste your time on this season nor anime. I've wasted mine so you could be spared.
First of all, if you are reading it right now and you like the anime, just move on, don't bother reading more than this sentence.
Also, one Naruto spoiler here.
I am more than dissapointed. Good reviews, high score and a lot of fans. I don't get it. Story is lacking basically everything. It's repetitiveness got totally out of hand. Villains show up, talk some nonsense - really, if
...
you look at their lines, the way they speak or even what they talk about just doesn't add up. Big talk, one fight, villain done.
Main character, 24/7 in hospital cause dude fragile as fuck. Bakugo got kidnapped. Okay, this shit made me laugh tho. From every character in the storyline, you chose to kidnap the most annoying fucker there is. Still can't even remember names of almost anyone from the roster and I could say I have really good memory of the characters from anime in general. I found myself pausing anime just to lookup the name of the character they talk about 'cause I couldn't match name with face like at all, and we are what, like 60-70 episodes in?
Anyway, back to villains. The pattern became so obvious about them attacking, make basically zero results and students counter-attack. And that's pretty much it. Even dude who's name I needed to look up (again), his name was Kota - why is he treated as fucking villain? Cause he hates heroes? I mean, that's exactly what show tells you. Just because of that, his point of view of heroes is just purely bad. Which is total crap if you ask me. Imagine your parents getting masacred by basically anyone, wouldn't that be an obvious reaction to not liking people like that at all? It's not that big of a deal but you get my point.
Animation is mostly neat but is it enough? Since fights are whatever, reasons for them are mostly whatever, characters and their design is just meh, edginess is now all over the place, random stories doesn't make sense and dialogues are plain plus they mostly have near to zero impact on how story goes.
I talked shit about main character crying basically whole anime so far, but his ability which damages his whole body reminds me of Rock Lee from Naruto. But the major difference is they just overuse main character so he looks overpowered for like 10 seconds and than he is total mess for another half of the episode.
When it goes to Rock Lee, his fight with Gaara just totally damaged his body to the point he was told about not being able to fight as a ninja again. They didn't show him fighting nor training through like 60 episodes just from time to time, how hard he is struggling even with moving around, that's how damaged his body was. Then after this much time he showed off in fight against Kimmimaru which was fucking epic.
The difference between Deku and Rock Lee is that development in Rock Lees story is just how it should be. Slow steps, one at the time, not rushing anything. The pace of MHA is huge. Like, really huge so you can't even get to know characters and as I've demonstrated even the healing process ain't slow one.
These are just random small parts of this anime in general that I've noticed being in this season. Some of stuff I wrote or didn't write I already said in my other reviews cause of repetitiveness of this particular anime.

I've decided to write this review since i rewatched it due to people telling me to... but i can't mark it higher than this. It has 4/10 because of boobs juggling nothing else. Everything else was just mere dogshit. (again, like for my review of its first season)
Dude sacrifying himself for greater good. Where did i hear that? Oh, in like every second anime there is. I mean thats not a bad thing! BUT... EVERYONE THERE IS LIKE THAT. Everyone wanna become a hero. It just don't even fit their character if u ask me. Bakugo is screaming asshole which is like 10k miles away
...
from how real hero should look like. Edgy shitheads like Kaminari, Kirishima and Todoroki are like pain in ass and are almost useless. Only good thing is, they just waste your time so you should not focus on actual main character which is still crying pussy even 30 eps in.
There ain't single character even in this season that have like other ambition than becoming a hero. Like they are basically people with no dreams and it kinda goes against point of anime. Even simple anime like for ex. Naruto got people who got different dreams and goals in it, even if it goes for fillers. This one? All 600 characters got one dream and thats it.
Everything just feel like author underdeveloped main character. I mean, it's fine if u develop more to the side characters but those being more powerful and impactful than main? Cmon, that's not how you make your show interesting for people who watched anime for years and have some brain to think about it. Fanboyin/fangirling about side chars everywhere cause main char sucks and then anime became popular cause of it. This ain't hero anime, it's more like reverse harem with fucking yaoi vibe behind it. Fuckin' disgrace and disgusting.
Stereotypical main character with supporting another stereotypical female character ain't anything new but making it that way supporting girl having 0 impact and being good as a sexual object basically with obscene scenes. Uraraka is underdeveloped as well if u ask me. She got like two good traits, family issues and wanna become a hero cause of money gain, cool, but for main character... and thats it? Even some sidecharacters as Todoroki - he was inconsistant throughout whole season and basically changed his ideology, perspective and basically whole character in really short time. Change isn't bad if you let that character to be a consistent part of the story not doing basically anything just another ordinary character which is copy/paste of the main roster.
This anime is praised cause of simplicity of its own characters. Yet they aren't even simple. They are much more simpler than simple. If you watch anime you look for a connection between you and some of the characters right? This is missing here as well. I get it not every character is loveable and you can enjoy a story without liking none of them but...the story is at best average.
I despise the show. Can't really connect with characters like there's barricade or something. As I've said in the beginning of this rant, the only thing i enjoyed was the animation cause its studio Bones is doing their work. I wanna finish the show but making it like 80+ episode crap is gonna be hard even tho i'm basically almost halfway mentally done with that shit.

TLDR; Utterly overrated dogshit.
Don't take me wrong, I gave it a chance, but crying main character 3/4 of the time ain't something I enjoy nor should you. The story was not even appalling. It's like they tried so hard yet they've just made it another recycled bullcrap from top 3 anime.
Crying main character like in AOT or SAO, loud and annoying one side character like in whichever anime you choose basically, edgy dudes which have basically no impact just words and appearance so they were useful like razorblades in water.
I mean, animation is good, but thats just not enough to anime being a
...
good one. First season doesn't tell you basically nothing. It doesn't even have an impact to make you go and watch another one.
Nothing unique about this anime. Nothing which would separate it from other mainstream anime.
To sum it up - unimportant, boring, annoying and edgy (i personally hate those the most) sidecharacters, main character is basically crying btch, story is non-existant at this point as well, just bunch of stories going on, nothing else.
I wasted my time on this idiotic bs called anime so you don't have to waste yours.

"Light is always alongside darkness..."
My review will probably be one of the most positive ones over here. I still don't get it why most of reviews got so low rating as well as the series itself. I read few of them and to be honest, it looked to me like they weren't even justified. I mean, people with Chuunibyou or School Days in favourites writing review on something they have 0 experience with, i find it rather amusing.
Anyway...
Story: 10
Story development in what looked like medieval age was well set. First few episodes in, it was kinda random and chaotic but as the
...
anime continued, story basically developed itself. It's basically about people's lust and desires. How everyone can get consumed by those negative feelings. Side by side with demons aspect and superpowers, oldschool-like anime and animation itself made a great combo.
Art: 9
Not 10, simply because of lack of the side characters some kind of difference. Almost every side character... like side, side, side character, was almost the same if not same. The features of faces if it wasn't someone really important was awful. Other than that, I like the old style of art and animation as well. If someone like Funimation gave it a go, it pays off to watch almost everytime.
Sound: 10
Surprisingly I loved both opening and ending. Alongside with a soundtracks while basically some scene happend, marvelous.
Character: 7
Lowest of my ratings on this anime. Hear me out tho. It has something to do with side characters art being same as i mentioned up there but also I was freaking lost in that city or wharever this anime was happening. I have 0 clue whenever some character spoke about something there, I have no idea where they are situated or something. Why am I saying it in "character" rating? Simply because I couldn't match the places with some of the character's story which was somehow annoying.
Enjoyment: 10
Of course, 10, easily. The "bad" sides of the anime that I named wasn't that major for me that I couldn't enjoy it to full extension. Would probably rewatch it as well!
Overall: 10
Obviously, it's one of the masterpiece-like anime. Don't get me wrong, if you are not used to or not enjoy old looking anime, even tho it's not that old, you better stay away from this because this won't satisfy you, not a bit. But don't forget to have open mind and don't get swallowed by those irellevant negative reviews and make your own opinion AFTER watching it!

This was awfully mediocore anime. I can't help myself but to think I've just wasted few hours of my life watching some rip-off anime just with different names/races and pretty much enemies as well.Let's go into rating...
Story: 4
Plain, boring, half of it wasn't even described. There was not really explained pretty much anything at all. Just chit-chats, then fights, then screams, another fights and in the end of the episode, happy end. Anything to thrill about. There were some moments when I thought something would pretty much come or change, nope.
Art: 5
Not really much to say about this. Fanservice is present of course
...
but that's not why my rating of it is so low. It's because even different towns, buildings or even people, looked so awfully same. I've liked the matrix-like scene (or scenes, I am not sure if there was more than one lmao), other than that, few characters were made exceptionally good when it goes for art.
Sound: 6
This is the highest rating for this anime you would see. It's thanks to few soundtracks and ending. Opening just sucks, same goes for few scenes when there's some kind of sound, you either can't hear even tho characters present talks about it or just loud screams which are really annoying cause of their frequency.
Character: 5
As I stated in Art rating - few characters are well drawn even tho their story or involvement in the story is nowhere near present nor relevant. Goblin Slayer nor the priest girl are boring. Who I found interesting were mostly side-characters. Mostly they didn't have almost any story to share but if they had, their stories or just the thing they've shared was much better and more interesting than protagonist's ones.
Enjoyment: 4
This will be short one. I just forced myself to go through half of the episodes because there was nothing to look for in another episode. Nowhere close to a thrilling story.
Overall: 5
Saw worse. It has a lot of space to improve. Or just slow the pace and make a room to develop a story. It felt so rushed and I haven't felt IT from the whole thing. I watched a lot better and more satisfying even much older anime, so this was just a huge dissapointment for me.
