Now, about the story and characters—I think this story would be much more interesting and exciting if the protagonists were gay. Seriously, I didn’t feel any emotion throughout five episodes. It’s just a normal, watchable anime, but the plot feels lukewarm.
The protagonist is completely generic—he has no personality and nothing special about him. The anime didn’t convey anything meaningful to me. If this is your first time watching something, maybe it’ll impress you. It’s nothing revolutionary; in the sports anime genre, there are **way** better options.

I think the female protagonist is highly objectified, even though she is kind and sweet. She faces constant harassment and is not seen as a real person or treated with respect by the neighbor. Additionally, I didn’t like how the anime ends… It is indeed a very emotional anime that portrays child abuse and postpartum depression in a realistic way, while also being extremely cute.
It’s an unconventional anime—there are very few like it. I recommend *Erased* for those who want to see more anime about difficult childhoods. I believe topics like this should be addressed openly, explicitly, and without subtlety, just like the show did, ... Dec 14, 2024
The plot is pretty silly and simple. The main goal of the anime and manga is to be entertaining and create varied scenes with the different girlfriends the protagonist will have. Contrary to negative comments, I don’t think the girls are being “forced” to get involved with the protagonist. The concept of the ZING is real, but in defense of the work, it’s common for teenagers to experience love in a more euphoric way. In a universe where the soulmate concept à la “Romeo and Juliet” exists, I find the behavior of the girls and the protagonist acceptable.
