The VNs are pretty cool, especially if you get the alternate ones like Summer Days! New storylines and stuff.
I own Clannad on Steam, but I haven't actually played through it yet!
The anime was SO GOOD. I'm sure I'll cry even harder if I play the VN 'cause like you said, they're always more detailed lmao. I BAWLED watching it.
I really need to play through all my VNs, but I never have the time to just sit down and do it. :(
I'm a streamer, so I'm usually playing my main game, or a few variety games for content, and when I'm not doing that, I've got anime, novels, and manga to catch up on, so it just feels like I never have time to sit down and play some LONG ASS VNs, which sucks because I LOVE VNs. :((
Also, no need to apologize! I love long, thoughtful comments like this so I'll generally respond even if it takes me some time. I forget to check comments sometimes :/
Thanks for the happy birthday!

I love talking about anything related to anime and don't have enough friends that love long discussions like this :)
Hope to hear from you!
I love it now, but omg I was so mad at him at the time 🤣
I agree with you, I watch the first ep of Komi and then after 2-3 more ep I couldnt wait and I start to read the manga. I like a lot the comedy part of this manga/anime and ofc the cuteness especially after chapter 300+. Normally Im not a big fan of slice of life
I recently finished Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) which was a good slice of life anime. However, the last 5 or 6 episodes of the second season were really trying to put a cap on things so it jumped out of the slice of life genre, explained some crucial background information that would have been nice to have from the start, and really developed a plot on what happened to the classmates of the Assassination Classroom. It was enjoyable but not one of my favorites for sure. The ending was what threw me off...
You're so sweet to write such a long letter to your friend. I don't think you mentioned it before either. If I may so inquire, but what's it about? That's so cool; I would probably not have the motivation unless they were a really good friend.
Talk to you again. ^_^
After Ajin, every anime has been O.K. There hasn't been anything really decent out there. I'm in the midst of Mob Psycho 100 right now. I was going to watch Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, but there were some uncensored episodes that still weren't out so I'm going to wait on those. I'm assuming it's gore-related content as it didn't seem like an ecchi anime. Mob Psycho 100 reminds me of One Punch Man because of the main character's motivation just to simply move on with life; they're written by the same people I believe as well. One Punch Man had more humor in it though so I like it over Mob Psycho so far.
Any anime you into lately? And if not anime, manga or VN/LN or whatever you do in your free time? xD
So relatable, I'm not that talkative around others either. :U To me, it takes energy to talk to others because I'm usually forcing myself half the time to say something just to keep a conversation going. Anything that I actually want to say comes out negative, and typing it/chatting online gives me more time to think out what I'm going to say.
Ah, I got sick a few days ago too. I want to take off but I doubt few would believe me because everyone's been getting sick lately; "if you can walk and talk, then you're not sick," is basically the gist of it. :/
Talk to you soon. ^.^
I don't really mind what I say to others online because the chance of us ever meeting in person is close to 0. One day, we may just cease to talk to each other and that would be the end of it; nothing significantly changing our lives and us continuing to do what we do on a daily basis. I only care if the people I see face-to-face on a daily basis know if I watch anime; that would suck. -.-
Too bad this year isn't leap year. >.> Last year was, so another 3 more years after this. My two least favorite seasons are the spring and autumn because that's where a time a change comes; not only for the environment, but people like me who have to adjust their schedules to advance up to where they may need to be next.
I also watched and completed Ajin recently, which to say, WAS SO GOOD. xD Even though it was CGI animation (which I'm betting turned a lot of people off), the story was complete and really followed a concise, realistic setting with the introduction of immortal Ajin. Soo good <3. It's been one of the few anime lately where I'm actually rushing my schedule in order to find a decent time to watch it. I finished it in a few days, and needless to say, I don't regret the sleep I missed out on. xP
Sorry this message got long, I rarely have the chance to talk to anyone about anime anymore since you are one of two that will listen to me rant nowadays. I hope to speak to you again soon. ^.^
What most people understand from me, is that no one I know in person, face-to-face, knows that I watch anime in my free time. When given the chance, I will watch anime in my free time and be alone. Might be the norm for some, not for others. However, because no one knows this side of me, I go with the pretense of "studying" in my room whenever I'm "alone" watching anime... I feel like it's a bad pretense because then everyone will think I'm some sort of nerd but it keeps everyone away and me alone when I want to be.
I'm glad your interview went as well as it could have. :) And Happy Valentine's Day by the way. To get into my own personal spirit, I decided to watch a romantic anime which ended up being Ore Monogatari!!. So far, I'm only on episode 3 but it's meeting my expectations for this day. Still single though once again.. T^T
I hope you don't catch a cold either. The temperatures are still warm over here which is unusual for so early in the year but I'm glad that it's already starting to feel like a glimpse of Spring. Talk to you again soon.
