I will keep this review short.

Art - Good
Sound - Good
Character - Bad ( 1 of them at least )
Enjoyment - Low
Story - Eh, Medium - Low

It snagged my attention, through amvs & gif sets, and i decided to give it a chance. It looked interesting. I was wrong.
...
I regret watching this.
There's something about this that I just cannot.....
And I'll be honest I think a lot it stems from the 2 MCs, or I guess to be more specific 1 of the MCs.

This is the first time, that i can remember, where I preferred a secondary main-ish, character over at least one of the MCs. In an anime.

Summing up how it concluded, again no spoilers, :
Are you kidding me? Oh heck no.

Note: I never read the Fruits Basket manga. I did watch the original anime.


When I got word that there would be a re-boot/remake of the Fruits Basket Series, I'll admit I was......afraid of what the end result would be. I tend to view things that I watched/read, as a kid or teenager, with a critical eye. And this fell under that area.
And I didn't want to compare the original to the reboot, as I didn't think it would be entirely fair, so to speak.

After I watched it in it's entirety:
It's getting 10's across the dang board. Holy ... smokes. Honestly, I don't know what else to say. From what I've been able to understand, this is a more accurate adaptation, than the original was. Which, if that's true, wow. A LOT of things
were left out.

There were certain parts that just had me going "Wait, what?" And I mean that in a good way.

This is one of the best reboots I've seen.

Okay,

Just watched it. Wow. I was a bit confused as to why Faye called John her big brother since they are not related. But other than that it's the most detailed H anime I've ever come across, and that alone gets a 10 from me.
I don't know what the plot was supposed to be.
