Knowing Oshimi, I thought he had found his way after all this time to deliver something more ground-breaking than Aku no Hana, but I was extremely disappointed.
Sadly, manga suffers from lots of points and I will mainly talk about the problems.
The story, even though it has a decent subject, Oshimi couldn't manage to add depth to the manga. Instead, we get end chapter notes that try to throw out something to leave you excited about the next chapter to come, only for you to get disappointed. I know for a fact that he likes the "Understand-through-Art" approach, but they were very low tier in this
...
manga.
Characters and their decisions are somewhat dull. MC running away from Fukiishi at a dire time to make love just because he **** his pants? Or because he remembers that he has a mother? There was literally nothing at that point to back up such a decision and to change the entire plot. It felt really forced. And MC has hallucinations from the point about whether mother did the throwing or not. Yes, it can be traumatizing for anyone to see, but this wasn't backed up by a story to have such an impact on MC. At that point, it looked like Oshimi was just trying to add extra length to the manga and basically recycle the manga. I could go on with more examples, like the mother's backstory being entirely pointless and weak. This so-called "distance", which mother felt, wasn't justified to the reader. But overall, the characters were insignificant beside Fukiishi which was somehow the only interesting one.
The total structure of manga is bad. Considering the length of 153 chapters, the manga suffers from pacing and the plot slowly moves forward even though the amount of text is relatively low, I got bored through the manga and, likely, the average reader can guess how the manga is going to end and TBH ending was just unsatisfying.
Art-wise, it's mind-boggling that Oshimi went with such a simplistic approach towards his drawing. Compared to Aku no Hana, this is a major step down which I couldn't comprehend. The details, the grit and, last but not least, the facial expressions which were Oshimi's standing points are kinda rare to be seen here. I have read more hentai mangas with a better passion of artist towards the work.
Overall, this wasn't really a bad read. It had its moments, but it couldn't be a memorable one which I really want it to be.

I have been found of drama for the longest time of my life. Most of my favorite works of all possible medium are drama. So I can surely say that I've seen my share of them.
Among all I've seen so far, there was one work of medium I couldn't tolerate from the start, and that was CSCHBL.
The story is about a boy and a girl who are physically disable (boy is blind, and girl is deaf). It takes and turns to be a SoL love story and HIGHLY DRAMATIC story.
Tho problem arises from the author, which isn't exactly sure how to make this one a
...
REALISTIC drama. Boy gets blind by looking at his PC so much, I mean like ???. (I don't much remember from the girl, it's been two years since I read the manhwa and hated it).
Rather than having a flow and let the things start growing, we are dealing with lovey-dovey moments that readers might actually shed a tear, and boy... I wanted to bang my head to wall for this 6 chapters that I've read. Other parts ain't worth mentioning because they are below minimum. It's really baffling how this one has such a high-rate.
TBH, I actually think author has written this manhwa in one go, because he's afraid to look back and see how awfully and forcefully written his work is.
Another half-ass review, guys & girls. ta-ta.

"Always fear regret more than failure."
// Story ///
Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa is a story of a man which his life has been in vain. He has not achieved what many people already have (looks like he has been sleep for his whole life!) and it's time to C H A N G E.
Very admiring story of a man which tries his hardest to climb the path of success trough hardship of life and all its circumstances to come within it to become a better version of himself and someone that other be proud of. Through this path, Kurosawa has to deal with really tense situations and
...
dealing with tons of problems including thugs, homeless people, street junkies and tons of misunderstanding, tons.
The author isn't afraid to show you some of the darkest realities surrounding life, and dealing with such circumstances is the best way to represent these facts, and they're going to hit you hard. They don't feel forced, as the manga has its flow and easy to catch up.
This tense situations boost up your levels of reading this manga. After 10 chapter or so when stuff gets really messed up, it's really hard to put down this manga down as the story gets more twisted.
// Characters //
Kurosawa is a flawed man, he's not perfect and makes tons of problems. Not someone you want as main character of a manga, tho all mentioned earlier are the reason why he can be such relatable character even if reader may not have same experience as him.
Watching Kurosawa grow is really fun as he solves his problems and makes so many weird decisions, and he learns a lot through this journey and gets encouraged for more problems to come.
// Art //
This will be a turn off for most of the people. As this was the main reason I avoided manga at first but as seeing high rating I decided to give it a try anyway.
Art is similar to Kaiji (other work of the author), people with long noses, cubic faces and so on... Which are truly unique and author used it to excellency to portray characters emotion and sadness. Trough this uniqueness, it takes time for the reader to adjust to such art.
// Enjoyment //
This is the most "Human" manga I've ever read so far. The way that author captures the value of life and hardship around Kurosawa's situation is so beautiful.
Weird and funny ways that Kurosawa handle his problems are so fucking top-notch! I couldn't count have many times I burst out laughing at his unique plans to solve his problems.
Only problem is the beginning of the manga which is a bit off compared to the later volumes, but after 10 chapter or so the manga completely scales to another level.
// Overall //
A beautiful portrayal of a troubled man trying to find his place in the world. Very admiring one. It was a blast reading this, and I will cherish this journey for the rest of my life.
I wanted to review this manga sooner, but it took me a long time, and I didn't want to have any regrets. It's such a piece of work that actually deserves more attention, so just accept this half-ass review as my first. (I'm trying to get better, I swear)
This manga really puts his mark on you. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
I also recommend Akira Kurosawa movie called "Ikiru" which has the same vibes as this manga.
And as a side note, Remember...
"The sun never sets on your dreams."
