This anime started out with a funny concept. A group of adventures each abandoned that full the holes in their lives with random vices. Unfortunately after the first episode, this series falls flat.
The characters are boring, don't really develop and have no real motives. In the first episode they all start by being jaded from being betrayed, yet by the end of the episode they all seem to warm up to each other. The characters really needed more time to become closer. Development just appears out of nowhere, without being fledged in the story.

Yes I understand the whole show is around the premise about Yume and Iridou having latent feelings from their past relationship, but most of the flashbacks show it was a shitty relationship that was mainly carried by Iridou. Yume needed to be denied at some point so she could actually atone for her past. She is the main reason they broke up. Iridou is ready to accept most of the blame in the relationship, but in the end he is the only one to give actual effort. ...

I am a big fan of romance/slice of life dramas (i.e. Hyouka, Bunny Girl Senpai, OreGairu, etc.) so take this with a grain of salt.
This show is really entertaining. It draws you in and gets you invested with the characters, then throws a wrench into things. The time travel mechanic is very similar to Erased (take that as you will, I like Erased) and the main character has great depth. The main character has an opportunity to use his knowledge of the future to cheat the system and get a head in life, but he is more focused on helping his friends ...

This anime drags out a bit in some parts, but damn do you just have to keep watching. I think the whole series could have been condensed to like 30 episodes, but this length is great too. All of the main characters are written well and have great personalities. The friends are constantly helping each other. Even the first season antagonist is written well. This show has odd pacing
24 episodes covers three years, some episodes are super fast paced while others drag on for years. The story is obvious from the start, but the progression is quite grueling. The series is pretty solid until episode 22. This episode adds drama that was not really needed. Thankfully it is resolved quickly, but the series could have been fine without it. Worth a watch, but not a "must watch." I wish I could give this a 6.5/10. 6 is too low, but 7 seems a bit too high. If this story was condensed into like 15 episodes, it would probably be like ...

Funny lighthearted, solid romcom
Some romcom anime try to be overly ecchi or focused on fan service rather than story and character depth. This show has a nice balance of humor and story depth. Usually with anime that portray "otakus" they either nail it, or miss the mark. This show knocks it out of the park. This is on par with shows like "Wotaku" and "Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki". They have a side character whom is a lolicon, and he is like a straight up pedophile. It is kind of uncomfortable some of the things he says and does. If you or anyone you know has dealt with mental health issues, this hits a bit close to home. The themes here are very dark, but it is well written. Suicide is a very difficult topic to discuss in general. This anime does a great job of exploring the mental health of someone whom is suicidal. Them always blaming themselves, thinking they're a burden on everyone they no. This is never the case.
