One Punch Man, one of the most recognized animes in these last years, and one of the major dissapointments of 2019 for most of people.
I was a bit late on this anime, because I was catching up with the manga instead of watching this, but since practically everyone was pointing out how bad it was, I got curious and said; ''why not watch it? It can't be that bad... Right?''
And, well, I wasn't wrong at all, but I expected more. So, here's my review for OPM 2nd Season.

[Story - 4/10]
One Punch Man tells the story of the strongest man in the earth, Saitama, and his adventures to find a person capable of defeat him. In the 1st Season, this was plasmated into episodic episodes where Saitama was in a ''troublesome'' situation, but he always could defeat any enemy without any major problems. But, in the 2nd Season, this was handled... A bit different. One Punch Man 2nd Season's story was... Boring. First of all, the 2nd Season's story was told by some arcs, as the Martial Tournament Arc, Garou Arc, etc. It did had good moments and all, but, for a twelve episodes anime, that was too much. The Martial Arts Tournament Arc, the arc that had more episodes, was truly boring and uninteresting, except for the moment that Saitama rescued Suryiu, the other moments where boring to watch. On the other hand, this anime tells the story of Garou, a human who symphatize with monsters, and proclaims to be the ''Hero Hunter''. This part of the story was rather interesting, but, unluckily, the end of the anime was... A cliffhanger. The story of Garou was simply cut off on the best part. It just feels incomplete, and yes, it is. J.C. Staff tried to fool us making the Elder Centipede look as the final boss of the season, as how was Boros in the first season, instead of Orochi. And, no, this didn't work. This is the worst part, because yeah, for an anime only is a bad thing, because the don't know how the story continues, but for someone as me who has read the manga, it's really annoying to see how the best part of the story wasn't included. Just leaving... The most boring parts. And not only that, it's also incomplete, what's worse.

[Characters - 3/10]
Saitama was show awfully in this second season. He wasn't important, and he just showed up when the villains was going to kill everyone, making the efforts of everyone else useless. Yeah, this happened on the 1st Season, but it just happened one time, against the Sea King Monster, but that part was amazing. Here, it looses it glimpse. Also Saitama practically didn't appeared at all, making Garou practically the MC of this season. Talking about Garou, he was the best of the season. He had good development, good fights, and a good story, whilst maybe isn't the most original, it worked well on this anime. The bad thing? Thanks to the cliffhanger ending, the development of Garou was cut off, and that was the best part. Garou's development in the manga is incredible, but in the anime... Is just decent. For everyone else, eh. King was funny, Genos was annoying in this season for me, and Suryiu was a nice character overall but it's just a filler character so I doubt that we'll get the chance to see him again.
The cast of this 2nd season was pretty bad excluding for Garou and maybe a couple more of characters, but Saitama and the others participation was horrible.

[Sound - 8/10]
The best part of this season. The OP was amazing, the lyrics were catching, and it fell on my top 10 favorite openings of this year. The OST is incredible too, Garou theme is dope, the Garou VS Bang theme, etc. Also, we can't forget the incredible VA of Garou. I really liked his voice, honestly.

[Animation - 6/10]
Let's not lie, guys, practically all of the people who says that the animation is bad is mostly because they compare it w¡th the godlike animation of the 1st season. It's normal the change of quality in this aspect, Madhouse did an incredible job with OPM, and we can't compare J.C. with Madhouse, because they are different studios and they do the animation different. OPM 2nd Season's animation isn't bad at all if we don't compare it with the 1st season. It isn't good neither, some visuals are meh and some fighting scenes were pretty bad executed. But, overall, it wasn't bad.

I expected a bit more of this, after reading the manga, I hope that most of the epic moments were in this second season, and that wasn't the case, because this anime only adapted the most boring parts, and just when the epicness was going to start, they end the anime, and now we have to wait year for another season to see the dope parts and fights. I am a bit dissapointed if I'm honest. I recommend to all of you who hasn't read the manga to read it, because the art is incredible and the story is pretty epic at the moment, instead of waiting years to another season... If they do another season, obviously.

Danganronpa games, overall, are pretty good. I've played all the games of the saga, watched all the animes of it and readed some light novels and manga, so, I can consider me a proper Danganronpa fan. How I said, I've read some manga of Danganronpa, one of them to be exactly, and is this manga.
I didn't read this manga online, how I do now, but I bought the entire volumes after playing the games, expecting a good adaptation. For me, Trigger Happy Havoc isn't the best Danganronpa game, but It was a solid start, and, seeing that it had an anime and manga adaptation, I ... decided to bought the manga to read a proper adaptation, cause I thought it was going to be refreshing after some months of playing the games.
Now, I want to ask want thing to you, the one who is actually reading this:
¿What do you get If you adapt a game of practically twenty hours into a manga of just 4 volumes?
A rushed story.
I want to clarify that, I'm going to review this manga from my point of view, as someone who played the game and wanted a good adaptation, so, overall, I'll review it as a comparison, not as a independent manga. Hope you understand.

How I said at the introduction, this manga is a rushed version of the actual game. So, actually the story has a fast development.
I remember playing the game, the trials were the most exciting part, and they actually taked a long time to be completed, not only because of the challenge that they were, but because they had very dialogue to understand what happened in the case. Also, I remembered when someone died in a chapter, It was surprising.
And, here...
In the same volume, you could read a entire trial and half of the next trial. Doesn't have the same impact as the game. In the game, as the chapter advanced, I was intrigued to know what was happening, like in the third chapter. In the manga, at the opposite, just everything went fast, without emotion. The explanations were fast, too, but this isn't something to blame at all, cause in the game you can choose many options to try to explain the case, and trying to resolve it, while in the manga no, but it's something that happens if you adapt a game to an anime or manga.
As an independent manga, is actually good, the summary and interesting concepts and events aren't affected at all by the rushed story, apart of happen too fast, of course. I would've liked it If I didn't played the game before. Well, even Is mediocre If we consider it as a independent manga.

-Characters
In Danganronpa, the deaths are something common. It's something obvious after reading the sinopsis. In the game, a full chapter could take some hours to finalize, and in every chapter of the game one character die, two at maxim. So, in the manga... Happens that, in a volume, you can see many deaths, and that makes the characters don't last too long.
So, the only ones to have a personality and have development are the ones who survived. And, just survived 6 characters, so... Let's see first.
Naegi is just a standart MC with the title of ''Super high school level luck'', being just a lucky guy. Is the typic MC where before the story starts is just a nobody and at the end is the hero. Cliché.
Kirigiri is a good characters, have an interesting and mysterious backstory, and have some development with Naegi. But, she's the ultimate detective, so, is the more intelligent, and practically resolves every case because, why not.
Hina and Hagakure don't do shit, Hina is fanservice and Hagakure is useless.
Touko is disgusting, and more with Byakuya.
Talking about him, Byakuya is the best character, have development, isn't actually pretending to be a hero, at the start he just wanted to survive by himself and only cared about him, but at the end he went more friendly with the others.
Monokuma is fucking boss, actually.
Compared to the game, the manga in character section looses totally too, cause in the game you can interact with the characters a lot, but, it's something obvious, cause is an adaptation to manga, so, is isn't a bad thing at all, honestly.

Art was pretty good, I have to say. The characters had pretty good drawn designs, and the scenarios looked good. Some scenes were traced about the game, and in most of them were practically identicals. Apart of this, the only good part of the manga.

How I said, instead of reading it online, I bought the mangas, cause at that point, I didn't knew about reading manga online, and, I wasted money on this. Basically, is a poor adaptation of the game. If you want to start in the Danganronpa series, please, don't read this, go play the game, or, If you already readed this, watch the game in YouTube, you will find it WAY MORE good. Oh, also, avoid to watch the anime adaptation of the game, is practically the same shit, but with good OP and ED's.

I greatly regret buying and reading this, it woul've been better to just playing the games and avoiding the adaptations.
¿I recommend it? Hell, no. The only way I would recommend this is If were a independent manga, but that's not the case, so, abstain yourself of reading this, please.

OK, this is my first review in MAL, and my first review for a manga overall, so... Be gentle, nii-san.
Oh, also... This is my 2nd manga completed, and my 1st manga readed without an anime adaption (you can say this manga is the one who maked me into read manga) knowing this, please understand me and my point.
By the way, I'll try my best to not write any spoilers, but be careful If you read this before readed some chapters of Good Night World.

When I started this manga, the premiere for my was a mix of SAO and Overlord, so, I started Good Night World ... with this expectations, but... I encountered something very different.
Story at the start is more light, with all the Planet thing and the Akabane Family. While reading, It remembered me to SAO or Accel World in a point, also with all the group things I've finded similarities with Overlod in a way, so I thought the story would be something similar to them. But, with the advance of chapters, the story torn'd out to be pretty obscure.
I really liked how this manga was at they mid-point. But, uh... The final is pretty dissapointing. All was a chaos, and the final was the typical ''all went okay at the end''... I expected a more realistic ending, to being honest. Also, the final isn't very conclusive, leaving behind the possibility that Planet and the Reality are still mixed, but the confusion comes because most of things aren't explained at all, so they just leave without a conclusion.
I hated the final, to being honest. Advance was great, twists were awesome, and in many parts the story didn't got mercy to kill characters or show they cruel reality, even If in some parts weren't like this, but anyways, it was cool. I've would given an 8 or more If the end had not been shit.

-Characters
Liked the characters, but, somewhere near the end, they felt so unrealistic. They changed without develop, and they changed A LOT, like Azuma accepting Taichi to be Ichi, while at the start he hated the whole Planet idea and, mostly his brother. Also, very characters were pretty unrelevant to the story, like the Mother (sorry, I don't remember her name) and I don't really liked any character in this manga besides Piko, and she didn't even appeared practically in the story. Oh, but the Akabane Counterparts as Ichi, Shiro and AAAAA were cool. Talking about Aya, she's interesting, but nothing than a plot-device at the end, sadly. She is based on a real case, that's why she's interesting. Basically, the Characters apart was bad.

Art at the start was acceptable, practically mediocre I'd say, but at the advance of chapters, drawing and shades were very cool, also the scenarios were good drawed. And, it was good to look at, some arts like the Black Bird and others were pretty cool. Not an expert about this, but I liked it.

I enjoyed the manga, yes. But the final were nothing but deception. It is better than what I heard, about being a mix of SAO and Overlord (honestly, better than this two) but while reading I've expected an adult final or something, something at the height of the development.

I did not regret reading this manga, the first one that is introducing me to this whole world of manga, so, yeah. ¿I recommend it? Yes. If you like Seinen demography, you will like this, but not expect a SAO ripoff. And, well, If you like psychological/obscure genres, I recommend it too, but don't expect too much of the final.
