Knight Under My Heart is a Manhwa about the main character being invited to test a new VR-MMORPG and ends up being trapped inside the game due to the devs being evil freaks and experimenting - or rather torturing newcomers. You can't get out unless you beat the area you're being simulated - which is, in this case, a battlefield where the main character is at the front lines. Being thrown into this new enviroment he finds himself dying countless of times being stuck at an endless loop.

The developers want him to despair and beg for them to make him leave, but he does the ... opposite. He learns to fight and adapts, no matter how often he resets.

It's pacing is extremely slow but that's what makes it a good read. You're constantly kept on edge to see what happens next.
And since I believe this is the main part of the story, it makes sense for it to be slow.

Overall, read it. If don't like it - fine.

Takt Op. Destiny,

a show which I watched back when it first came out and thought "Nah, this isn't going to be worth watching". Three days ago a random thought occured in my head. I suddenly wanted to give this show a try. So I did.

Takt Op. Destiny for sure has a lot of weaknesses and lacks a lot of depth, making it quite the rushed experience. You can probably also tell it took inspiration from the Fate series and wanted to give it a twist with adding some music, which kinda worked. While I enjoyed watching it and haven't found even a single part ... of this anime boring, I have to say it's alright. The characters portraid aren't anything new or unique, the story could've been good if it wasn't rushed and didn't lack depth and the villain didn't make too much sense either. While all of this sounds extremely bad, this anime still has some pretty good animation along with good sound design and music.

When first watching this, I was like "Oh, half way in and it seems like this could be a long show. Maybe we'll get a second season." - Yeah, I was wrong about that. The entire show finishes itself off within 12 episodes making it a experience I can say is worth it - if you're willing to watch something incomplete.

Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 - The cringe fest continues.

If you expect anything more happening in the 2nd season of this abomination then I have to disappoint you. The first episode was fine, really - which as an anime only, gave me hope. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The second and third episode made me cringe harder than the first season altogether surpassing my expectations of this absolute circus of a show. Kazuya's role has now become completely irrelevant as he is not capable of even forming a full compund senctence. If you talk to Kazuya, you may even be better off talking ... to a wall. Seriously. You could benefit more from that than talking to this MC. His inner monologue has increased in frequency and because of his lack of confidence and his down-bad syndrome there hasn't even been one normal conversation in this season so far. Everything happening makes so little sense and makes you want to drop this anime, yet you continue.

Mizuhara is carrying literally everything so far, as she's the one with the most dialogue. Then there is Mami Chan. I can't really recall the first season but what is her business? Why would she care what the two of them are doing and if they're hanging around together? This all makes no sense at all and is leaving me frustrated.

I think we can all agree that under normal circumstances we would've already dropped this show, but we all hope for even the slightest glimpse of hope leading to character development and Kazuya's brain functioning like a normal human being.

This review probably didn't have that much information as you'd hope - but that all is the fault of this tv show. Watching this and pausing multiple times an episode to not lose my cool made my brain melt.
