Both of these feature female leads which dabble in medicinal fields, and are set in historically inspired settings. While one is more European and the other is more Oriental, I think both have much to offer, and someone who likes one might enjoy the other too. Granted, they have distinct personalities, looks and the relations are somewhat different, but both protagonists are likeable, and both anime offer a decent cast of characters and are both seasonal.

Both have characters with either anime features or that are anthropomorphised animals. Both use animals as a means of exploring issues with our own society, though to different lengths. And both have a wolf character.

Both feature protagonists who are used to achieve specific goals learning to get in touch with their "humanity", in a sense, though both protagonists are decidedly different, with one being a very advanced ai and another being an actual human. They learn to interact with and become close with the humans around them and they're both relatively short series with quality art and animation.

While one is an isekai and the other isn't, both feature smart protagonists who are in one form of another practitioners of science. Both anime in some form help celebrate how far we've come as humans in terms of the things we've given rise to - though with Parallel World Pharmacy, this revolves more around medicine (and a little bit of cosmetics) than technology as a whole. While Isekai Yakkyoku does feature magic which may not be for everyone, there is also a scientific element involving the composition of things.
