[Story]
The primary objective is exceptionally well-defined and straightforward to comprehend. It is the voyage toward that objective that matters the most. Gon and his companion Killua embark on a global journey to locate Gon's father, but along the way, they encounter new companions, adversaries, difficulties, and, most importantly, a brand-new adventure!
Furthermore, this program features the most intriguing and varied arcs I've ever seen. You might find yourself in a crime-thriller arc, a video game arc, or an epic conflict between two distinct species as you progress from one arc to the next. The arcs never appear to be repetitive or monotonous, yet they all contribute
...
to the series' overarching primary objective.
Art:
For those familiar with the art of the Hunter x Hunter manga, it is known that the artwork can sometimes be lacking in quality. At times, it may even appear comparable to a rough sketch. However, despite the occasional shortcomings in the art, the anime adaptation consistently delivers beautiful and impressive animation. The visual presentation in the anime rarely fails to disappoint.
Character:
The Hunter x Hunter series features a vast and diverse cast of characters, which I believe is a positive aspect of the series. The characters possess imaginative abilities, distinctive designs, and well-developed personalities. Each character has the potential to become the focal point of a new story arc, and it would be fascinating to explore their individual journeys, even if they are currently minor characters who do not receive much attention. This demonstrates the depth and quality of the character development in the series. However, I do wish that some of the more intriguing characters had received more opportunities to shine and contribute to the overall narrative.
Overall, the story is nearly flawless and accomplishes more in 148 episodes than most shonen can achieve after 400+ episodes. Additionally, the music and soundtrack are exceptional. The opening theme is highly motivating and catchy, and it is one of the few Japanese songs that I can sing in its entirety. The ending themes are truly beautiful and evoke emotions after each episode. The soundtrack is equally impressive, and I highly recommend purchasing it if possible. It is simply that remarkable!
Although the manga series is still ongoing and may not conclude anytime soon due to frequent hiatuses, the anime adaptation ended at a point that could be considered an ideal conclusion to the story. If this were to be the final installment of the anime, I would be content with it.

[Story]
The narrative of Usogui adopts a realistic perspective on illicit gambling, emphasizing the necessity of violence for gamblers to safeguard their winnings. The plot is intricate and distinctive, but as a result, it took some time for the plot to become clear.
The author excels at creating intricate and engaging psychological battles, albeit some readers may find them overly complicated. In conclusion, I believe the story is exceptional.
[Art]
The artwork is of exceptional quality, especially during the combat scenes. The panels are meticulously detailed, and the action sequences are skillfully choreographed. The visual presentation effectively captures the intensity and exhilaration of each battle, resulting in a
...
captivating experience for the Reader.
[Character]
The narrative follows two protagonists, one a prodigious gambler and the other an ordinary individual. The story's progression allows readers to witness the transformation of the ordinary protagonist as he gains expertise and become a formidable gambler. The author's skill in crafting vibrant and captivating characters, both virtuous and villainous, further enhances the narrative. These characters are so compelling that they occasionally overshadow the main character, which, while potentially seen as a flaw, is not a concern for me.
In conclusion, 'Usogui' is a literary masterpiece that captivates readers with its complex characters, compelling protagonist, and well-developed antagonist. It successfully avoids any concerns of repetitiveness through its diverse and thrilling story arcs. This manga promises an immersive and emotionally resonant reading experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression on its readers.

Real isn't just a manga about wheelchair basketball;
The brilliance of Real lies not only in its stunning artwork but also in its ability to delve deep into the human psyche. Inoue's characters are flawlessly crafted, their complexities laid bare for readers to explore.
From the fiercely determined protagonist, Nomiya, to the troubled former basketball star, Takahashi, each character's journey is portrayed with authenticity and depth.
I found myself initially intrigued by the title "Real" when I began reading this manga, but its significance became clearer to me as I delved further into the story.
This Manga feels Real.
If you're looking for a manga that feels genuine
...
and true to life, look no further than "Real."

In my opinion, this manga surpasses the "big three" (One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto) in terms of quality.
This Manga feels like a combination of "shonen" and "seinen"
Although the beginning may appear conventional, each successive arc elevates the narrative. We gain a deeper understanding of the universe, and the introduction of new characters fosters engaging interactions among them.
One of the manga's greatest strengths is its world-building. Ohtaka has crafted a rich and immersive setting inspired by the tales of "One Thousand and One Nights." The intricate political machinations and cultural nuances of this world add depth and texture to the story, making
...
it feel both fantastical and grounded in reality.
Furthermore, "Magi" excels in its character cast. There are so many well-developed characters, each with their own goals and motivations.
The characters engage in numerous compelling interactions that add depth and authenticity to the story, enriching the overall experience for the audience
Sometimes, the manga can have an excessive amount of text, and the ending may feel rushed but I am sure that this manga is enjoyable for everyone.

I initially believed this manga was solely focused on the theme of mountain climbing, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it encompasses a much broader and captivating narrative.
Yumemakura's narrative is rich in depth and complexity, exploring a variety of themes ranging from personal growth and friendship to existential questions about the meaning of life. The characters are multifaceted and well-developed, and their journey is marked by challenges that are both physical and emotional in nature.
Jiro Taniguchi's artwork brings the towering peaks and treacherous landscapes to life, evoking a sense of awe and wonder.
My only criticism is that the pacing could potentially
...
be perceived as slightly slow for some viewers.
Whether you're a fan of mountaineering or simply appreciate great storytelling, this epic tale of human endurance and the pursuit of greatness is not to be missed.

Most overrated Manga
The majority of the fanbase would say that Golden Age is the best Arc.
I say it is one of the worst Arcs because it is just about Guts & Griffith and the Eclipse. Everything else like side characters or the path to the Eclipse is poorly written in my opinion.
Oh, my Behelith saved me when you shot me with an arrow, Oh, Zodd spared our lives because he just happened to see the Behelith, Oh I just looked you in your eyes and saw that you fear me and from that moment on I knew that you are against me,
...
Griffith surviving 1 year torture, the Main cast of the Band surviving the Ambush, Guts saving the Band just in time after the timeskip and winning fights that make fairy tail look like it has no plot armor.
And Why?
Because they all need to die in the Eclipse and everything else is simply a means to an end.
Most of the Villains in this Arc are
brain dead in order to enhance Griffith's capabilities and ensure his continued success.
Band of the Hawk? Well, I don't know why Miura gave them so little screentime because they have so much impact on Guts. For the first time in his life, Guts can finally live a "normal" life and laugh with them but all they talk about is Griffith or Casca. They are literally NPCs.
INSTEAD THE ****** ECLIPSE SCENE FROM CASCA HAS MORE SCREENTIME THAN THEM. By screen time, I am referring to dialogues that allows us to become acquainted with the characters but who cares about them when they are dying in the eclipse. He could cut Wlyad from the story and give them more depth...
But then you can't draw casca naked, uh oh.
Casca? If I would tell you that a character has 4 SA scene in ONE arc and even after that, she gets more of that shit when she is already mentally broken, what would be your reaction?
The start of the romantic relationship between her and Guts is also stupid. It only exits because she has her period, falls off a cliff, Guts saves her and they get a forced dialog. In the 3 years they spent together, they can not get closer??? And then this shit happens again after the time skip. She falls off a cliff again because she wants to die - Guts then saving her and then they have sex??? How is that good written. Not even shonen are this trash in romance.
Before that period event all she talks about is Griffith or Guts is supid mimimi. If you compare Farnese's development over time, then I wish she would also receive this treatment. But who cares? Just skip three years and let the characters remain the same.
Her eclipse scene is also way too long. It is almost 1.5 chapters long and the way it is drawn reminds me of a disgusting hentai rather than a "serious" seinen.
Also a masterpiece in storytelling is that she gets more assaulted after that and in these scenes you always get a eclipse flashback from casca like are you for real??? The scenes are unnecessary and sometimes this manga is written more bizarre than jojo's.
And it does not get better because the only one who can save her is a fairy. It is like a random asspull from a shonen manga when you need a random powerup to defeat the villain.
If you can not deal with such a aftermath, then leave it.
Guts? Never in my life saw I a character with so much plot arrmor. He has more plot armor than the entire fairy tail cast. I would be okay with this if there were another character with this treatment but there is not one.
It starts with him as a boy. He gets shot with an arrow, falls off a cliff, talks about oh, i have 2 broken rips and lost half of my blood. Yeah, he fights then wolves and wins.
Injured Guts vs 100 soldier - who wins?
Guts...
Guts vs Wlyad, who cuts a tree with his hand and he tanks those multiple times.
Guts because he has a flashback from his peak training under a waterfall.
In the Eclipse everyone is running for their lives, dying like npcs who can not even fight, meanwhile an injured Guts is web swinging like spider man and fighting apostel...
That is just one arc and it goes on till he gets his berserker armor.
I liked how he thought about his life and what he wants to do and then he goes from swinging my sword for others to only swinging my sword for myself. Peak character development. Peak time skip where he only stands under a waterfall.
Zodd warns him about Griffith, Skull Knight warns him about the Eclipse and he never thinks about this nor talks he about it with the Band. Why? Because this character can not think logically like literally most of the cast in this manga because CaUsAlItY.
Like a giant skeleton knight tells you, in a year there will be an eclipse, you and your friends will die and you only think sword goes brbrbrbr.
Imagine you are losing an eye and an arm and it makes you stronger. Without his plot mecha arm, he would die like in the first fight in Black Swordsman Arc or against the 5 Angel... and again he has only one eye and is fighting against 4 dudes simultaneously - Ez win.
I am having difficulty comprehending how he is able to wield a sword that most individuals struggle to lift with one arm, let alone swing it with such remarkable speed that it surpasses the reaction time of most people. It is like Goku spamming his kamehameha without even charging it and without having the trouble of losing ki. Edgy shit.
I must say, I have never encountered such monotonous combat sequences in a manga. Just swing your sword through it. Nike should do a collab with Berserk.
You wouldn't have this "struggle" character who also just lives because of Plot Character like Puck and Skull Knight. 2x he gets caught and is immediately saved by Puck because Plot? Why? Let him rot in a cell and let him think about what he did. And then at some point he realizes that he doesn't want to die because casca is still there and she has it worse but no, he only thinks about it when the plot needs him to do this. OMG Casca is in danger, you must save her. Oooh you are right, there is this potato character, dude, I completely spaced out because my actions don't seem to have any consequences.
Skull Knight always saving Guts when the Author doesn't know how he can survive specific situation and then talking about causality...
And always telling him what to do next or what to think because Guts can not think for himself.
Guts doesn't feel like character anymore because all of his fights are trash, always winning against impossible odds because there are not enough characters who can fight. Also spamming the same thing over him is just so exhausting like it is always trauma - inner peace and it goes on till the latest chapter where he is again in a trauma state. At this point it is just too much and doesn't feel authentic anymore. Him getting sold by his father is not relevant anymore because he has his "romantic" scene with casca and it is all good then. Here, you can have the next trauma - the eclipse.
Oh, you have made peace with the eclipse? Here, the next trauma - casca gets kidnapped.
Griffith? How did he learn to fight when you know that Guts was always fighting and he defeated guts. How can such a young guy be the leader of a mercenary force? His Goal is also flat. Everytime he mentions that he wants a kingdom, no one asks him why he wants kingdom or like what u gonna do with it? Do you want to unite the world blablabla...
Imagine Frieza in Dragonball says that he wants the Dragonballs but he doesn't mention what his wish would be or nobody asks him.
After his rebirth this character became so boring that he doesn't interest me anymore because wanna see him reacting to potato casca?
No! Wanna see him what he thinks when he has reached his Goal? Was it worth to sacrifice the band and leaving guts and casca in this disturbed state? No! You get nothing in almost 200 Chapters. Not even one monologue and there are people here calling him the best written antagonist lmao.
His job is just to stand there menacingly, and the plot will guarantee his success because he is the chosen one.
Engaging storytelling that sets us apart from the competition.
The other arcs are okay and after golden age arc this manga slowly transforms into typical battle shonen manga. Best example is his "rage mode". 5x he uses the beserker armor, 5x he gets into a rage mode and 5x schierke is saving him and nothing happens. No one gets in danger when he is in that state.
Imagine bleach or Naruto had this treatment. The shit talking would be unreal but in berserk it is the literally peak. What a joke.
The story is a mess because it can only work with so much plot armor that you think this is a cheap shonen manga.
The Mangaka can also only show how cruel the world is with rape and gore. Manga like Magi does it better and it doesn't even need to use these things.
I got other issues with this manga, but I ain't wasting my time on it no more.
