Yeesh for all of that. I have a Vita already, but money doesn't grow on trees :<
Amitte_Sukku Oct 16, 2016 3:03 AM
But I don't have a PSP... *sobs* I would have been playing all of that if I knew Japanese and had the money >w>

Welp, as far as I know, the DRRR!! visual novels follow their own original stories ^^
Amitte_Sukku Sep 28, 2016 2:40 AM
Yeah! Also will be trying to catch it on sale, or anything (not like I'm particularly strict on "I do not wish to give my money out to company X" [although there are a few everyone-knows-who companies that would more or less not be worthy your money])

I... I wanna plant flowers with Trignal members >.>
Though false alert sadly, I've checked my to-go site for tons of game downloads, and they have a great bunch of otoge, but not Koibana Days. Not to make that trip worthless though, I've downloaded Meiji Tokyo Renka and Durarara!! 3-way Standoff :'3 I had a nice giggle at the voiced option menu in the former and even more of Kida's randomness in the latter~
Amitte_Sukku Sep 25, 2016 2:22 AM
I ain't got no money, but I'll start saving up then :'33

Farming game ohmygod xD I've tried experimenting with VNR on PPSSPP with -8, so I can try and see if Koibana Days might be actually a game that works!
Amitte_Sukku Sep 25, 2016 12:50 AM
Hmm... I was thinking about playing Nameless first, because Dandelion is a raising stat game and I suck at these... but since you say they're connected, I don't have a choice, now do I? :'D

But Koibana Days is untranslated and I no know Japanese orz
Amitte_Sukku Sep 24, 2016 11:52 PM
I really, really want to play Koibana Days, because Trignal promo >.< ~let's search for flowers together lalala~
Amnesia is gonna be my early Halloween gift ^w^ Wish I could move on with DiaLovers though >.>

I could tell you Jumin is not who you might be thinking he is (looking at the VNDB page always explains everything) but I actually developed a major Hype Aversion to the game. What I mean is, kudos to Cheritz for giving us an actual real-time game where you can get into it a lot (not mentioning talking in chatrooms though, sometimes those answers are pure "wtf") and it's in English! But it just stresses me out how everyone at once got into it, and my Twitter and Tumblr became flooded with fanart, screencaps, and even sellable goods! That's just not normal to me. It's too much to take, not to mention I can't get myself into actually playing again, because I've gotten only bad ends and it really traumatized me, because I'm doing everything good and it doesn't work. Prices in my currency are also bogus. Which is why I'm rather thinking of buying either of their previous games, and maybe one day the hype will stop. Please stop faster than the Pokemon GO hype. m(_ _)m

That's so nice! Thank you for offering help~
So far basic German is obligatory for me to learn, as a neighbouring country that, let's face it, strongly depends on Germany (politics tryna make it seem like Poland is such an independent country lolol)
As for otome games, right now I would be already saving for the later Diabolik Lovers installments that came out only for Vita (as there are online word-by-word translations, thanks to some amazing girls), but one of the major translators made her blog private and so far I haven't found a way to reach her... orz
So far, otoge for PSP that got my interests, that I could think of from the top of my head would be... there are generally too many (I'd like everything if I get to experience something amazing), for example -8, Koibana Days, Beyond The Future -Fix The Time Arrows- (I know that Verdelish is making a gameplay-like translation, but that's not what I'd like to work with...), Amnesia fandiscs... honestly too many to even start naming them. If I did start, I wouldn't end until about next year, so you get my point :'D
Amitte_Sukku Sep 11, 2016 6:26 AM
Well... I'm not an adult and am younger, soo... you're still a senpai, if anything >w<
As for me, I don't really see myself as a member of "the anime community", and so, yeah, I prefer talking to a few people, like this... I'm a strong introvert >w< One thing I would love to do though is to have a friend who knows Japanese, so that we could chat about the language and maybe even read visual novels together (I've finally got the console and would love to find some nice otome game >.>)
Amitte_Sukku Sep 9, 2016 11:45 AM
No problem! I mean... you're an adult! XD And aww, thank you... am I really cool to talk to? People broke contact with me before, so I wouldn't know *tsundere look to the side*
Amitte_Sukku Sep 7, 2016 7:25 AM
...why am I so forgetful... I remembered the day before, and yet, I forgot again! Umm, I... here I am, to... to... wish you a late Happy Birthday! We got to talk for a while, and you seem like a really cool person to hang out with! :'D
Amitte_Sukku Aug 29, 2016 7:58 AM
Oops. I didn't realise I can't edit the comment now. The previous one cost me a while, as I was writing it with my console for the first time. Man, was that tiring! :D Anyway, as I mentioned before, we get to know Clear's backstory, not to mention he is probably as human-like as an android could get - he's not like all the other ones that are easily recognizable by their lack of understanding the human world. Then, we also gained an insight (is that the word? :') ) on Clear Alpha and how cruel they've been remodeled to be. It's actually just amazing. Nitro+ is love *sobs*
Amitte_Sukku Aug 29, 2016 6:52 AM
Ehh? I can only imagine companies like Aksys Games, Mangagamer, or... something like that... :'3

Hopefully, yeah ;') Mystic Messenger has everything, if you like cute boys, flirtatious (is that how you say it?) boys, or the cool, mysterious (get it? mysterious, cause the game is "Mystic..." [now that I think about it, the guy in question might be the key to the whole story.]

Apparently Chaos;Head isn't important, because it's not related to Steins;Gate or Robotics;Notes other than minor references (not to mention, upon looking into DMMd re:connect patch I've noticed that in the scenario meant to act as a tutorial for the card game, Aoba had received junk mail from none other than Seira-tan, Takumi's numero uno waifu :'3.) One thing I wanna say though, is that so far, after hearing Yoshino Hiroyuki voice Takumi, I'd take him rather than Mamoru Miyano every day - his performance was amazing and I don't know if there's another seiyuu who could do it as good as him. Not to mention, I'm really pumped for the Chaos;Child anime coming out (would love to see the visual novel get localized, but dunno if that's possible.), because it's a direct sequel to Chaos;Head and its protagonist is voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka... ahhh Tsuguuuu <3

I guarantee you getting positively triggered by Hiroyuki's otaku giggle... or is it just me being so weird? :')

For me Clear, as an android, was refreshing too - maybe because my android journey started in the Vocaloid world. As every fan knows, the whole originality of those singing androids lies in the fact that they don't have an established personality - one song, they confess their love to you, another - they hate you. I'm pretty sure there are songs with their main theme being rebelling against their Master, but I don't really know if I feel that... With Clear, you get to know the whole story. (will finish editing comment later)
Amitte_Sukku Aug 28, 2016 10:24 AM
And the conclusion is, are you working in Japan? *o* Even if you aren't, that's amazing!

I can't really do RPG... or more like, I'm not the no-life type who can seriously get into it and I also suck at strategy-type games, like the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise. I would usually pick a mage in an RPG and go with that, while I imagine serious people choose professions like archers, knights or thieves... aaah orz
I've had the same problem! Maybe not with ATLAS in itself, but I couldn't put my mind to setting up the Visual Novel Reader - instead of actually reading the instructions, every time I skimmed over them, thinking "geez, that's gonna be so hard" and in the end, I somehow set it up (not exactly for reading all games, per say; what I wanna read the most are otome games for PSP through the emulator and there are even more problems with that).
Ooh~ If you've liked Nameless, Cheritz released Mystic Messenger not too long ago. If you've ever spent a good while browsing through Google Play (or the iOS store? dunno, I've never had Apple stuff) in search for visual novels, or, even harder, otome games, you might have noticed there are quite a few companies that have been chucking out lame games that consist of a bit of visual novel and then some dress-up-your-character thing, or - some visual novel action and getting messages from pursuable males as if they exist. Mystic Messenger is similar to the latter, with it being available on both iOS and Android devices - pursuable characters, acting as if you're in the same world. As far as I've gone in it, it's been pretty hard, because you need to pay attention to choices. Though, now that I think about it, it might not be cool for a longer time if you're a busy person, because it acts in real time, and if you miss conversations, you need to pay with in-game currency to make choices in them.

Apart from all that, so far I still haven't read a lot, but if you have time, check out Chaos;Head. I might have said this before, but, even though everyone was spouting shit on it (because Steins;Gate is superior forever, apparently), I felt connected with it, and that's important.
By the way, triggers in Chaos;Head would be:
- gore
- delusions
- wheelchairs
and
- otaku giggling.
Good luck! :3
XD

P.S. Clear happens to be my favourite Aoboyfriend, but... needless to say is, the sex scene looked really... pitiful... to me. Personally, I love androids, but I think that made me realise they could stop at the Mayfly-December Romance pondering stage and it would be okay... orz
Amitte_Sukku Aug 28, 2016 8:57 AM
...I've read all of that and ...geh, what kind of a miraculous job do you have?! (〇o〇;) ギクゥゥゥ!!

About knowing only basic Japanese, I've had that level of knowledge for a while now (or so I feel), thanks to watching anime, some YouTube videos (PDR-san is the man!) or hearing spoken dialogue in games. There are things like Visual Novel Reader and Chiitrans Lite that are supposed to be using translators like Fujitsu's ATLAS or LEC Power Translator to make reading untranslated visual novels possible. Personally, I've been trying to set them up, and let's say, the results are... barely satisfying. I don't know if it's me, or the software doesn't work as good as I've expected it to.

Though if you have some more game, I recommend you use it on visual novels. Everything feels so sentimental after time... I've got a terrific case of hoarding stuff rather than using it later on (that so far goes for manga volumes on my shelves and visual novels on my hard disc), so I still have a long way to go, but I remember waking up at 7 AM and choosing to read DMMd, then finally finishing Koujaku's route at 9 PM. Blasted 14 hours! (of course I've been eating and all) That was amazing, yet scary at the same time, but it really stays in your memory.
Amitte_Sukku Aug 28, 2016 6:21 AM
Aww, sure! Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, haha! :3

Yeah, well, if I had to say, VNs would take second place, after anime. They are source materials for some extremely well known anime series, and while they're not just playing by themselves (unless we're talking about auto mode lol I'm not that type of player), they're still fairly interactive, thanks to things like voice acting, music, lip sync, videos. And now, thanks to Ren'Py, everyone can make a basic visual novel, so there's a lot of crap or not-crap to read anyway, in comparison to Japanese stuff that's been translated (not like I could feed off eroge day-by-day, there are limits; plus, I'd love to see more otome games too).
I really wanna read things from my manga list, but it's not going well, because my attention span is a lot shorter when it comes to reading... orz
