Y'know, Fairy Tai was one of the first anime I actually watched when I got into anime 6 years ago, I have fond memories of the first series, literally watching the entire things within weeks, and finding the arcs, characters, and developments of the characters, fun and engaging, I can say it's one of my more guilty pleasures to watch because I genuinely enjoyed it when watching it.. but this is only applied to the first series, The second series in itself was a bit less interestesting, and I didn't vibe with it as much as I did the first one, but still managed to
...
enjoy it overall, and found the series great, I think Fairy Tail Zero is still one of my favorite arcs from the entire series, which what made me rank the [2014] so high...
Fairy Tail: Final Series... Is a mixed bag. I enjoyed the process of watching it, and I found myself still engaged with the story, but... I dunno... I have mixed feelings on it..
Let's start off with the things I enjoyed..
I enjoyed some of the villains of the season, they were fun in their own way.. More specifically Achnelogia, Brandish, Irene, and Austin. Those four are major stand outs to me, Irene most especially, I found her back story interesting, her being ruthless, and also being Erza's biological mother too. She was a really cool villain overall..
I liked the concept of Natsu being END himself, It was revealed at the end of the Tartarus arc, but it was now brought into full swing here in the final series, I liked the concept, and the idea but the execution of it is ... well... It could have been better but then again, allot of things could have been better, and of all the things that could be better, this was probably handled the best.
Now... Some of things about this series I did not really like...
How low the stakes are for the characters.. The heroes most specifically. Yeah, as the series went on and seeing the amounts of characters being killed, literally dying or on the brink of death, only to be brought back to life with some rather plot armored excuse as to WHY they are still alive, it got old really quickly.. Gajeel, despite him literally being my FAVORITE CHARACTER in the entire series, died at one point only to be brought back to life due to some "Technicality", Makorav literally dying due to a rather touching sacrifice, and would have been SUCH a huge moment for the series... but NO, he stayed dead for like 10 episodes, and then is brought back to life... for no reason. Mira got killed at one point, only for Brandish to shrink her wound and keep her live.. just allot of examples of characters "dying" and then being brought to life, with either explinations that are more so plot armor to keep the heroes alive, OR no reason at all, they just get to live..
In fact, I am surprised that they kept Mavis and by extension Zeref dead, I half expected them to ressurect them and- Oh wait yeah, the final episode.. Oh but y'know, they're not them but still. =~= ...Just with all these kills, and ressurections out of no where it REALLY lowers the overall stakes of the entire story, we KNOW these characters are gonna be live, so Why bother? To tear jerk the audience? Pretty much, It might be emotional for those who watch THIS season first before the previous two, but for those who are caught up completely, the moments grow stale.. The only characters that die in this series are the villains.. There are NO stakes at all.
The whole time travel plot was confusing, I feel like we could have done without this whole "Dragon Slayers being brought to the future 400 years ago to defeat Achnelogia' BS, it just really complicated things and admittedly it was hard to follow at times.
The characters getting random power ups, basic plot armor...
I also do NOT like how the story just straight up refuses to make any of these characters official, with the exception of Gajeel and Levi, and Elfman and Evergreen... All of these couples like Erza and Jelal, Gray and Juvia, Laxus and Freed [Fuck you, they are a couple. You can't convince me otherswise.], they just leave us guessing and quite frankly this "Will They, Won't They" trope is really old and annoying, and I wish they'd give us something other than alluding to them being a thing "allegedly." Don't get me STARTED on Natsu and Lucy, literally that pair goes no where.
Overall, Fairy Tail's Final Series, was a disappointment, but in it's own weird way, I still enjoyed the process of watching it... If you wanna watch it, go ahead, especially if you've already watched the first two seasons and wanna watch the last one to finish it completely BUT if you don't? Then don't...
Really it all comes down to your tastes....
I give this a 5/10 overall.... Enjoyed watching it but I simply can't ignore it's problems.

Recommended
Sukitte Ii na yo, or Say “I Love you” is really a gem in the Shoujo genre. How it doesn’t have more attention given to or, or given a second season is really beyond me because this romance story was really wonderful! I feel that this is an anime that allot of teenagers can relate to on a personal level, not just because of the romance but also the messages it sends to people.
Story (10/10) To me the story was absolutely wonderful. It was the best part of the story. It’s a story about a girl named Mei Tachibana, a girl who has lost the ... ability to trust others due to an incident that happened when he was younger, and because of that incident she has lived a majority of her life lacking the desire to make new friends, but all of that changed when she met Yamato Kurosawa, the most popular, handsome guy in the school. Yamato was able to open Mei’s eyes to the possibility of having a social life, not per say to become popular but to be comfortable with the idea of being around other people, and trusting other people little by little, and not everyone is gonna stab you in the back. Yamato has taught Mei and the audience that there are people out there who would want to hang out with you because they genuinely want to get to know you, and even Mei has passed on those lessons towards people facing similar struggles to hers. The story teaches us that no matter the social status, the amounts of money we have in our bank accounts, no matter how happy we are with ourselves now, that doesn’t mean that person hasn’t went through hardship, and that everyone has their own scars that they’re hiding. Everyone has been through trials and tribulations to get to where they are in life now. Everyone has their own story, and I love that message. Talking about the romance between Mei and Yamato now, I love how they started their relationship within episode 3, and not wait till the near end of the season to do so, that’s actually my favorite type of romance show where they two soul mates get together early in the series, because truth be told, a couple’s story doesn’t end at them becoming a couple, if anything that’s only just the beginning, so it’s nice to see them get into a relationship early on in the series. Watching how their relationship grew step by step, no matter if the step is a small one or a big leap, it was wonderful to watch them grow as people and as a couple. Art (9/10) The animation was wonderful. It was smooth, it was clean. The characters all looks great, the designs of the characters and the backgrounds too. I REALLY love Yamato’s design, especially his hair. It made him look so cool, and I also loved Kai’s design too, he looked like that rough and tough bad boy with the Mohawk and I absolutely gravitated towards that design too. Overall the animation and the art style were all amazing! Sound (9/10) I really enjoyed the intro music. It was calming and soothing to the ears, and it actually suited the style to the anime. It’s not some overly hyper theme song, it’s a ballad song, and I thought it suited the style of this show, and as well as the ED it’s was great too. It was slow, and pleasant to the ears. I also enjoyed the sound track of this show, the background music was really good. Characters (10/10) Usually when I do a review, I only talk about the main characters, the characters the story focuses on. While we will discuss Mei, and Yamato in full detail, I also wanna talk about some of the supporting cast too, generally the ones that had more of a presence on the series. So characters like Daichi Kurosawa, or Masashi Tachikawa won’t get their own segments since they didn’t do much on the show… So let’s get this started. Mei Tachibana. I relate to Mei on a personal level, I am someone who has allot of trust issues, and it also stems from how I was treated as a child moving forward to my teen years by people outside from my family. I’m also Shy, and awkward around people, it’s hard for me to open up to people or really tell people, including my family how I feel, and what I am going through because I fear that they won’t understand my struggles… I have few people in my life where I can truly open up, and tell them what’s going on with me, and it honestly does suck because that sense of loneliness does fester inside of me allot! Getting personal here, I’ve always been out casted by people, and usually that token friend, the disposable friend, someone who can easily be discarded by people when they get board of you, and to be honest that really fucked me up mentally, and gave me this really conflicted view on the world. So when Mei in the first episode said that she doesn’t need friends, and she’d be better off alone, I honestly felt that because to this day I still have that mindset of wanting to be alone, and rather have the idea that everyone is untrustworthy. Admittedly, I do agree my trust issues is a problem, and little by little I am trying to fix that and open up to people. So Mei is a character I truly can relate to, and because of that I sympathize with her, and I gravitate to her character more, because I see allot of myself in Mei and her character. So I think the way the show handled her struggles was really good! Yamato Kurosawa. Other than the fact that I love his design, his hair and his overall look, Yamato is a really lovely character. He is exactly the type of boyfriend Mei deserves. Someone who can open her eyes to the many possibilities. One of those possibilities is her making friends and teaching her that there are people out there who won’t throw you away or stab you in the back. He’s the type of boyfriend who wants to open up Mei’s world, and that is exactly what Mei needed, he couldn’t have been a more perfect match for Mei. Despite him being the right match for him, he isn’t a perfect human being, like I said when we tackled the story, everyone has their own scars, things they’ve done in the past they are not proud of, facing trials and tribulations. Yamato is an example of no matter the social status, or how much he is beloved by everyone, he has his own scars, and his demons. Yamato is the type of person who puts other people’s happiness over his own, a trait like that is both a blessing and a curse to have. I love Yamato’s character, and how they handled his character and how they displayed that he is flawed like everyone else! Now let’s tackle some of the supporting characters that made an impact on the series… Aiko Mutou. I actually liked Aiko for the most part, I was a bit indifferent with her in the beginning but she was a character that grew on me as the series progressed, I starting warming up to her when she got more involved in Mei, and Yamato’s relationship and helping them with their struggles. She is that type of girl who takes no bullshit from anyone, and says it how it really is, and I appreciate that about her. Like our two leads, and allot of the supporting cast we talk about, she has her past scars, physically and mentally. She uses her experiences to help Mei in her relationship and for that I really grew to like having her around. Asami Oikawa. I like her, she is that character you instantaneously like because of how kind and cheerful she is. Her personal struggles lies with her breasts. It’s usually girls making remarks, calling them “Melons” when we all know that those girls are just jealous of them so instead they make fun of her for them, and the guys also make fun of her boobs to hide the fact that they are secretly turned on and wanna be in bed with her. It’s a stupid thing to make fun of someone for, but it’s something that would upset her, and make her feel insecure. Her relationship with Takeshi is really cute. Megumi Kitagawa. Like Aiko, I didn’t dislike her, interestingly enough I was interested in her character, like we all knew that she had some baggage on her, it’s just that we didn’t know what it was. Her struggles lies on other people’s superficial opinions on her, it’s a struggle I do face myself, I used to care about the opinions of others, despite it really being completely useless to me. I actually did sympathize with her towards the end because you can tell all she wanted was to be accepted… Kai Takemura. Say HELLO to the new addition to my anime crushes! Anyways, I love his character! The moment he was introduced I really liked him, we heard about him previous from Yamato himself, he was his best friend who was constantly tortured and bullied, so badly that he transferred schools. So he came back stronger than ever, and was ready to fight the bullies that tormented him in his middle schooling days, but he quickly realized, that in doing that it won’t accomplish anything, and by the end of it, Kai will get nothing to gain from doing such things. He turns into more of a voice of reason character, especially towards Mei, and Megumi. Also I see a relationship blossoming between him and Megumi, and I am all for it!! Nagisa Kurosawa. Nagi, though she was indeed a brat, she was an adorable one at that. I relate to her struggles of not wanting to go to school, but our reasoning’s for it are completely different, I know how it feels to completely lose trust and faith in other people. I really like the relationship she has with her brother, and with Mei. It’s really nice watching them together and getting along, they’re like one big happy family!! Enjoyment (9/10) I absolutely enjoyed this completely. There were so many moments where I stopped and just related to the situations that Mei and everyone else were going through, mentally speaking. Anyone who has been through life struggles, lost trust in anyone, has scars that they hide, who have been through any kind of hardship, I feel can relate to this anime, and can enjoy this anime for what it is. Overall (9/10) My biggest complaint with this show is that there isn’t a season 2. What the hell is up with that?! Also that the score for this should have been higher!! I absolutely recommend that you guys watch this because it really is such a gem of an anime. Story (10/10) Art (9/10) Sound (9/10) Characters (10/10) Enjoyment (9/10) Overall Score (9/10)

Diabolik Lovers

Not Recommended
If you’re a fan of abusive relationships, and the glorification of rape. If you’re someone who likes the idea of seeing someone get constantly and ruthlessly abused, and thrown around like a rag doll, then Diabolik Lovers is definitely up your alley. Otherwise, stay as far away from this show as you possible can. Don’t even go on the page, nor even think of it because not watching this will really benefit you, immensely.
This show…or rather this monstrosity of an anime was really a chore to sit through. I know it’s only 14 minutes per episode, but it really felt like 45 minutes of ... the same thing happening every episode. Not only that this show is rage inducing, toxic, and horribly written, it’s also incredibly boring. When I finished season 1, I was happier that it was finally over…until I remembered that there was a season 2, so I went back to immediate despair and sadness. Story (1/10) The story was shit. It’s about a girl names Yui Komori who was sent as her father to an old, creepy looking mansion to live with the Sakamaki brothers, but OH WAIT! There’s one big problem, all of them are vampires! Oh no! What’s our poor protagonist gonna do!? That’s just the basic gist of it. Being real, the story was absolute piss. It was repetitive, it was boring, poorly paced, horribly written. There isn’t anything good I can really say about the story. Almost every episode one of the Sakamasshole brothers are raping Yui by sucking her blood, scaring Yui, abusing Yui and treating her like some new toy. It starts to get really repetitive really quickly, and it just leaves you bored and asking for some actual good plot! The anime tries so desperately hard to make you feel sorry for the characters, the bothers and the main protagonist, showing you how oh so tragic their childhood was, how we should feel sorry for them because X, Y and Z happened to them and all that shit… I’m gonna be blunt, I have absolutely zero sympathy for any of them, neither towards Yui either, and the reason for that is simple… I hate all of them. We’ll discuss they’re characters eventually. Art (5/10) You know, I’ll give the show credit for ONE THING is that I actually love the designs of the Sakamaki brothers, and the animation isn’t bad per say. It’s such a shame such good designs are wasted on these assholes, but you know, considering that the demographic is for people who cream themselves over hot men, (Admittedly I am guilty of doing that in occasions.) no matter the shitty personality. Sound (2/10) Admittedly the sounds in this anime make me uncomfortable. The sucking sounds, the moans for help, the hissing, them always commenting on how sweet Yui’s blood is… It’s all too weird and uncomfortable, it happens every episode and it’s not something you’d want to hear constantly. Characters (1/10) OK, Uhm… THE CHARACTERS ARE SHIT. Period. Absolutely none of them are likeable, at all. All of them are fucking awful. The Sakamaki 6 are all assholes, Yui is fucking useless… Where do I even begin? There is so much to complain about with the Main 7. Let’s start with our dear protagonist, Yui. Now honestly, in the beginning I felt some sympathy for her, she was put in a situation where she had no choice but to comply, it seemed like there was no way for her to escape the situation at hand, and that the situation was completely hopeless for her, and with that I actually did feel bad for her…until she was actually given the opportunity to leave… That’s right my friends, She was given the golden opportunity by Subaru himself to leave, not to look back, and never come back… and I don’t why I was surprised but she made the absolute smart decision to stay because she was curious over some fucking diary her father left in the mansion…. Yes, a dusty old book is more important than your own life apparently, so after that, any kind of sympathy I had for her completely vanished into thin air. She had the opportunity to fucking run away from that place but decided to stay because of some book. So yeah, I have no sympathy for her after that, she has absolutely no backbone to her, she barely ever stood up for herself, she just let herself become a subject for abuse. It was aggravating watching her. Now we move on to the 6 rapists… I mean Sakamaki brothers, I mean come on the first name I gave them isn’t too far-fetched from what they truly are. Abusive, horrible, unlikable rapists. Since there are 6 of them, I’m only gonna talk about them in smaller paragraphs… Ayato. The worst of the 6, the way he treats her is the worst. He constantly abuses her, sucking her blood, and has even “claimed” her like she is some sort of object. I have no idea why he is the most popular brother when he is total, utter trash. Kanato. He’s a creep. A mentally unstable freak who carries around that bear, but oh wait, that bear is filled with his mother’s ashes… How fucked up is that?! He looks rather innocent compared to the other brothers but trust and believe, he’s an abusive prick, like the rest of them. Laito. If I hear the words ‘Little Bitch’ one more time, I think I’m gonna throw a table. Still a prick but not as abusive as his other two doppelgangers. I only remember him as the guy who’d most of the time verbally abuse him… so he’s still a prick. Shuu. Boring. Nothing more, nothing less, he’s the most boring of the brothers, there is absolutely nothing interesting about him, all we know about him is that he is the oldest, he is the eldest, he is lazy and lacks responsibilities and the his younger brother Reiji has a grudge against him… He’s just…really fucking bland. Reiji. The smart one. Always commentating on Yui’s manners being deplorable… which is rather ironic considering he is a verbally abusive rapist. We know that he has a jealous grudge against his brother Shuu considering he does all the work around the house when it should be Shuu who is doing it, so he has this grudge against him, honestly I WISH they delved deeper into this because that actually had potential to be a good storyline, but no, instead we got sad vampires raping a defenseless girl. Subaru. The best of the brothers, and that’s not saying much, to be completely honest I ALMOST liked him, he seemed like the brother who actually cared about Yui, he was the one who actually gave Yui the opportunity to leave (which he didn’t do… stupid tool.) and despite his temper he seemed semi-decent…until later on Subaru rapes her by sucking her blood like the others, and it just made me lose all sorts of hope for this series completely. He’s not as bad as the other 5, but he is still a bad person. Enjoyment (1/10) I honestly don’t understand how anyone could find this show entertaining in the slightest. There are people who actually like this, considering that this was adapted from a virtual novel, it has a rather wide fan base, and I just simply don’t understand WHY on earth people get off on this shit. It’s absolutely bad. So no, I didn’t enjoy this. Overall (2/10) Overall Diabolik Lovers can go fuck off. I am planning on watching Season 2, you wonder why considering I hate this show? Well I’m a fucking idiot who likes to finish what he started. That’s why, I don’t leave seasons unwatched once I’ve dived into a series… I will also be planning on doing a review on it, but I doubt it’s gonna be better than the first one. If you’re someone who loves the idea of seeing a defenseless woman getting constantly raped and abused, then this is the shit show for you, otherwise stay as far away from this as you can. Period. I love Sports Anime, now I don’t like participating in many sports but I enjoy watching anime made for them. Now it’s not very often I go around say that I openly dislike a sports anime, because of the ones that I actually have watched, I’ve heavily enjoyed most of them. So despite having a rather low score on MAL, I went in with an open mind, watching Battery. So after sitting through 11 episodes of it, I can completely understand why the score is 5.76 on MAL.
This was bad. Like pretty bad. There isn’t much of a positive to this anime, it’s not ... complete trash but it’s definitely close to being trash. This was definitely a disappointment, because considering the premise of the show, it had allot of potential, and it was just wasted, and we will definitely be discussing why that is on this review. Story (2/10) Oh dear lord. How much wasted potential, it’s such a shame. For a starters, let’s start with the story didn’t have much to do with the actual sport it was trying to represent, which is Baseball, too much time was focused on the drama, now that’s not to say that Drama is a bad thing but like everything else, the drama and conflicts that the characters go through in the series has to flow along and properly develop the story. In this situation, it didn’t. It just all felt so unnecessary. It did nothing to develop the story or neither the characters, and when they actually do focus on the sport they’re not really playing the sport, they’re either doing calisthenics, or playing ball. It gets boring seeing the same shit over and over again. They do have an exhibition match, but within the last 2-3 episodes, and when the show finally started focusing more on the sport it was trying to portray, the series ends, and I am left will allot to be desired. Now were going to get to Harada, and Gou as characters soon but let’s talk about their “friendship” for a second. They’re “friendship” if you would even call it that, is incredibly toxic. Harada just seems like he is hanging out with Gou out of pure convenience of their liking towards baseball, he doesn’t seem to at all care much about him being around…and Gou literally assaults him whenever he feels Harada isn’t “Giving it his all” in baseball. We’ll get to Gou’s violent tendencies when we discuss his character, but their relationship is so toxic and abusive, it can’t possibly be overlooked. Speaking of abuse. I don’t know, the creator of this story has this weird fetish for abusing Harada, I mean I know he’s a little bastard but he didn’t deserve half of the shit that has happened to him during the course of the series. He gets choked, punched, whipped with belts, and gets pinned down and all sorts of abusive shit… It’s really concerning to watch seeing someone go through so much abuse in the span of 11 episodes… I don’t like Harada, at all but he didn’t deserve half the shit he got from his “Friends” and acquaintances. Art (6/10) Probably the best part about the anime is the art style, and its animation, while it wasn’t amazing, it was definitely pleasant to look at, considering its trash storyline, this is probably the nicest thing about the anime, along with its soundtrack… but that’s all I’ll really give Battery in terms of positive feedback. Sound (5/10) Just like the animation, and art style, the music was one of the higher notes to Battery, it isn’t saying a whole lot, but I’ll give it that much. I like the OST, OP and ED, the music to those was nice, and it suited the style of the anime. Too bad it was wasted on this. Characters (1/10) Oh dear god, where do I even begin with the characters? It’s rare for me to hate an entire cast of characters, well in this case I don’t hate the ENTIRE cast of characters… both the grandfather of Takumi, and also Seiha were the only two likable characters on the show, and with them being there, the show was at least tolerable to watch, the other characters on the other hand…. Are all useless garbage. The biggest problem with the characters, especially the main cast is the severe lack of development. If anything they’re more like plot devices to create as much drama as they can possibly fit. Were only gonna discuss the two main characters, the supporting characters don’t really need the attention, so let’s talk about Takumi, and Gou. Takumi Harada, our main “Protagonist” and I use that word very loosely. To sum it up, he’s an arrogant bastard, who thinks he is better than everyone. I am repeating myself, but Harada’s major problem is the lack of character development, more than anyone else he should have been receiving it, but nothing happened. He ended the series the way he started the series. The same arrogant kid, with a really terrible attitude towards his family, friends and even teachers. It baffles me how the story didn’t do anything about that, considering it has been mentioned several times throughout the 11 episode run of the show, it was mentioned both behind his back and to his face that he has an attitude, but nothing is ever done with it, no one in the story does anything about it that doesn’t involve beating the shit out of him. It’s hard to root for him as a main character because he is so unlikable, the lack of development is so severe it’s hard to like him. I don’t like him. The argument could be used that is only still a kid, but just because you’re a kid doesn’t mean you have the rights to act like an ass. Period. Now, we move on to his “friend” and once again, using words very loosely here, Gou Nagakura. THIS. GUY. SERIOUSLY. NEEDS. SOME. ANGER. MANAGEMENT. CLASSES. PERIOD, because he is absolutely NUTS. The first couple episodes he seemed to be one of the likeable characters on the show, that nice, happy guy who wants to be friends with the new kid, and play baseball with him but he sooner or later shows his true colors, it all started when he literally got so angry he strangled Harada. It was then and there I saw Gou for who he really was. If Gou feels like you are not “giving it your all” especially in baseball, he will assault you, he will get violent with you. As if that is a normal way to motivate, or get your message across to someone. He is so intense about baseball that he would resort to violence if he gets mad about it, and receive no consequences for his violent actions. That is my main gripe with Gou, he is in desperate need of anger management classes because he is unable to react to certain situations with a measured response! He goes right to 11 on the word Go. Enjoyment (2/10) I don’t think I need to go into detail here, it’s clear from this review, if you have made it this far, that I absolutely did not enjoy this anime at all. The only things I actually did like had absolutely nothing to do with the story nor the characters. Such a shame. Overall (2/10) You know? You could give the argument that Battery tried to differentiate themselves from other sports anime, and that it brought a new take to a sports anime and the main protagonist’s story compared to other sports anime protagonists… but just because something is “different” doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a good thing. Remember it’s all about execution, how you deliver the difference your story brings compared to other stories that are associated with the same genre, and Battery did a poor job in doing so, while it did have its potential to be actually good, it was all wasted for unnecessary drama, and underdeveloped characters. I don’t recommend this to anyone, your either gonna be bored watching it, or just angry. I ended up in both categories. Take my word for it. Mixed Feelings
If I had to choose a favorite genre of anime, Comedy would be among those favorites. I love an anime that can entertain me, provides a good laugh, something lighthearted and fun to watch. So I Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou is a very popular high school, comedy anime, it has received multiple amounts of praise from the general audience, and has predominantly positive reviews. So I’ve decided to give my own review on it. My own thoughts on the series, and what I think of it?
OK, so considering the amounts of praise it got and the amount of recommendations I got to start watching it, ... I went into this anime with rather high expectations, I was expecting to LOVE this anime, and really deem it as a favorite of mine. So after watching it, is it bad to say that I felt slightly let down? No I don’t think so, because to be quite frank? I was let down by this anime. Now don’t get me wrong, I rated this anime an overall 6, because despite the fact I was let down by it, I still enjoyed it, I enjoyed the process of watching it, it was entertaining to an extent, but I went into this with high expectations and those expectations weren’t met unfortunately. Story (6/10) In terms of the show’s story? There really isn’t one if I’m being honest, it’s just several comedic bits of our high school boys (and girls too) living their regular high school lives, they’re all split into little comedic bits which are all bundled up in one episode. In terms of its comedy, some of it lands well, and some of it falls really flat. I didn’t find allot of the jokes to be particularly funny in the context to where I would actually start laughing, but I could see the humor in allot of the jokes. Some of the jokes it was trying to land you could see coming from a mile away, and would kind of ruin the comedy aspect of it, but that does tend to happen sometimes. Art (6/10) The art and animation isn’t something worth mentioning but considering it is a criteria in the review, I shall talk about it briefly. It’s very simple, and basic. A basic animation and art style, it’s nothing really amazing. It’s neither bad, nor is it great. That’s all there really is to it. Sound (7/10) I did actually enjoy the sound track of this, I liked the little opening before the episode’s started, and I enjoyed the opening theme, and the ending theme too. Both, and in combination with the background music all very enjoyable. Characters (6/10) As well as the animation and art, the characters themselves, take away from the fact that their all serving a purpose to be comedic relief’s for their specific skits, on the basis level don’t have much personality to them. Their characters do work for this type of anime BUT on a basis level they are rather dull characters, especially the male cast. The Female cast even have more personality to them, and with that their dialogue has more entertaining value to them, which is why I wish they had more time on the air rather than just mall appearances compared to the male cast. Enjoyment (6/10) So like I said in the beginning of this review, I enjoyed watching it, the process of watching it. There were times I felt bored watching it, but those moments weren’t all the time, for the most part the enjoyment was there, there were times I saw that people saw in this show, but there were times where I didn’t see why the popularity is there. Overall I did enjoy it, but there were moments where I thought the show was pretty dull, in its characters, animation and stories. Overall (6/10) Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou to me at least, is over hyped by its audience. A huge majority of the viewer’s put this show out to be a super funny, super entertaining show that is a MUST WATCH, and with that kind of hype I went with very high expectations that weren’t met. Not to say that this was bad, because it wasn’t, it just wasn’t great, or as great as other people put it out to be. I just feel it’s overrated.
