Both of these series revolve around royalty. Both have strong female leads and male leads that are somewhat standoffish but love the female leads deeply. Both series contain magic of different sorts and involve lots of political intrigue. Overall, if you like one you should at least look at the other. Romance is a big part of both series.

If you liked Hana yori Dango add

...then you might like Kaichou wa Maid-sama! add

Hana Yori Dango is a much older anime than Kaichou wa Maid-sama and the art is quite outdated, however it is very similar to Maid-sama. The main female protagonists are both strong-willed characters who are new to love. The main male protagonists in each series are both rich boys who get kicks out of messing with the female leads. The male lead in Hana Yori Dango is more annoying than Usui and is a little dumb at times, but he becomes more likable throughout the series. It also takes some time to figure out who exactly the main male lead will be in Hana Yori Dango.

...then you might like Karigurashi no Arrietty add

Both are by Studio Ghibli. Both are about characters who are the same age and contain fantastical ideas.

Both movies are by Studio Ghibli. The animation is the same and both stories have the same magical quality. Howl has more romance.
