You are welcome! As long as it was a good day, then I feel it was worthy :)

I arrived at Nintendo Switch quite late, to be honest, but I am sure most games used to be between $45 and $50, now they are $70m and I have seen some at $99; I swear every time I see the prize of some games in stores I swear on the inside.
I have seen several comments regarding Tears of the Kingdom, which is a bit discouraging since it gives me vibes of Pokemon Sun and Moon/Ultrasun and Ultramoon; the same as the predecessors, but with just a few additions. I got more discouraged when I learned the Champions aren´t mentioned at all; which I understand, they fulfill their role in Breath of the Wild, but still.
Indeed, I have quite some games I need to finish and start on my Switch before thinking about buying a Switch 2 with games that will definitely be expensive.
I bought a copy of Breath of the Wild on Facebook Marketplace some months ago at a good price, and I swear the game has been on my mind ever since; I love the Champions so much, especially their final attack against Ganon. I got emotionally destroyed some days ago when I saw a cutscene of Age of Calamity that implied how the Champions died on the BotW timeline, and it was horribly brutal.
I love BotW, but I consider Age of Calamity canon hahaha. Sorry for the huge paragraph, I needed to vent; the Champions deserved better.

You know, I have watched and read a lot of manga where bullies tend to tell those kinds of things to their victims; sometimes Japan scares me more than it should like it seems to be such a horrible place for teenagers to live, especially for introverted ones. I feel Bakugou is a good representation of the type of bully who is respected and loved by his peers so nobody does or says a thing against him. I completely agree with you, no sane kid will ever say another one to kill themselves. Still, it's interesting how Bakugou's rotten personality was society's fault and not his parents; his mom seemed to be quite against his superiority complex.
Yes! Those fans are so annoying; it is ok to like Bakugou, but they push things so far against anyone who expresses their dislike toward him. Yeah, he may have had more development than other characters, he may have apologized, and while his change is real, it doesn´t mean I am obliged to like him.
To be completely honest, I couldn´t feel that anything was dragged; I had more storylines still fresh in my head, but I think everything was paced right. I cannot say it was my favorite season, but everything felt in its place and I enjoyed it a bit.
To be honest, now that My Hero Academia is over, I have had quite some time to put my thoughts together; I didn´t like the ending, I didn´t like Bakugou defeating All for One, and by no means did I like that Midoriya lost his powers or didn´t have fans or a statue on his name. Still, regarding the manga ending, I think things can be summarized as: I am happy you are leaving, but I am sad to see you go.

I am not sure if it was real or not, but I saw some pictures that Shiryu and Seiya from Saint Seiya appeared on Yu-Gi-Oh! Years ago hahaha; I also remember that some characters from Naruto had a cameo on Ben 10 hahaha. What you say is so true, I love Haruka Nanase but he is the standard design, especially with hairstyle; I think he shares it with Kageyama from Haikyuu and another character from an anime about running. The male MC from A Condition Called Love is another good and most recent example.
Tasogare Outfocus wasn´t my favorite anime, but I feel there were some nice scenes, especially regarding the first couple; still, it wasn´t a memorable BL. I hope you enjoy Tadaima, Okaeri; tell me what you think about it.
I will be honest, I cannot recommend anything from the Summer 2024 season because everything was so bland; sequels were the biggest highlights, but there wasn´t anything that memorable. This season has some good anime though, such as Dandadan, Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School, and quite a few more.

I bought my Nintendo Switch in 2022 when there were already several games released including Zelda, but I think $60 was the right price. $70 is too much, and while I think is obvious the current Switch days are numbered, if I buy a Switch 2 it will be when the console is at a reasonable price, I will buy second-hand games.
Indeed, Omori is considered a spiritual sequel to Mother (which I am playing and it is actually great); the battle sequences and the overworld screams Mother2/Earthbound. I downloaded Undertale at the beginning of this year, but I haven´t played it; I am curious since I have heard several comments about how splendid it is.

Exactly! Bakugou was a ruthless bully towards Midoriya, and it was more than clear that he used his power to harass him and nobody cared; like, what the fuck? I get that he grew up a bit and that he meant his apology towards Midoriya, but his fans kind of want to force and impose his character development on the ones who are still not his fans. For how Bakugou acts towards people, I would consider him more of an anti-hero than a hero; not a villain, but not kind enough to be a hero. Still, him being the one defeating AFO, who no other OFA user with more training was able to do, was quite unbelievable, especially considering how the vilest supervillain in history was overpowered at that point with some of the most unfair powers ever.
I liked Shigaraki's chapters and how it was revealed his unfortunate life was AFO's fault from the beginning, and Midoriya losing his arms was a striking chapter (There is a creepypasta about Captain Tsubasa that is very similar hahaha). Still, the Forgive the Villain trope went too far this time, especially considering everything Shigaraki did.
I am glad that there is just one chapter left for My Hero Academia, but the thing that annoys me the most is how Midoriya is still not recognized as one of the greatest heroes, even if he hasn´t graduated yet. I mean, he defeated multiple strong villains such as Stain, Muscular, Overhaul, and Shigaraki, but nobody seemed to appreciate or recognize his efforts. He deserves at least a statue in his honor. Horikoshi has it against our dear Broccoli.

I agree that maybe a different angle makes things different, but I am sure that several anime characters back in the day could have appeared in other anime out of context or in the background and nobody would have seen it.
I don´t know, but I see your point. Aside from art, I feel we are receiving very varied stories. All the BL anime this year were unique and different in their premise, which is something I enjoy; I mean, we got a BL in every seasonal, and I would appreciate it if that became a tradition. While not my favorite, I feel the most different BL was Tadaima Okaeri.

I know! It's so crazy and shameless; I don´t know if it is something prompted by Nintendo, or if it was an idea the stores came up with. I don't remember the price of BoTW when it first came out, but I am in some places the price rose to match it with TotK. Also, I get what you are saying; for a fraction of games produced by Nintendo, I also bought several indie ones.
Omori is scary, sad, funny, and deep; so far I only completed the true route, and it break my heart. It is a bit like Earthbound/Mother; they aren´t produced at the same time, but Omori feels like a spiritual successor of the former.

That is not just you, don't worry; I also feel Horikoshi did the most out of him, to redeem his former self as much as possible, like nothing ever happened, and like his megalomaniac complex was just a phase. I feel he is one of the most polarizing characters ever; half the fandom loathes him, and the other half defends him like nothing ever happened. Personally, I just don´t like his personality, and how hard everyone wants to make him seem like a good character above everyone else. Making him the one to defeat All For One was something I didn´t feel needed to happen.
I blame Nana Shimura over Izuku wanting to preach Shigaraki out of his destructive tendencies; I get she had several remorses before dying, but making Izuku a tool to overcome her past was low. I mean, Shigaraki was abused by his family and manipulated by AFO, but look at him! He is one of the most dangerous villains ever, and the author is using Izuku as well to save him. Yeah, Deku sacrificing everything for his enemy isn't appealing at all; it is a way too repetitive trope.

Hahaha, yeah, I can see the universe of Cherry Magic appearing in My New Boss is Goofy; some arts are similar indeed, but in all honesty, the art in the '90 was the same, looking back that vintage old look filter is the same for several anime.
Thanks to some comments I was able to see how many plot points from Cherry Magic were rushed and omitted to reach the happy ending; fortunately, there will be an OVA or movie in the future, and I am eager to see what will happen. I know the interactions with the family members of Adachi and Kurosawa were omitted, so I am eager to see them appear.

Hahaha, indeed, it does feel like having a pen pal; I like it though, it feels very vintage.
Thanks a lot, while I've been missing her daily, I have improved a bit; I will always miss her though, but I am doing better now. Again, thanks a lot :)

I know! The most logical thing is to think that after a sequel arrives the first game will be cheaper; somehow, where I live, BotW and TotK are $70, and some stores even sell them higher than that. I recently bought Mario Bros Wonder at a reasonable price, but it was still overpriced everywhere else.
Nintendo has good games, but at the end of the day several indie games are also amazing and worth playing; last year I played and days I completed the true route of Omori, and it was a game that still comes to my mind from time to time due to how deep it was. I am making up my mind to play the sadder routes.
Indeed, farming is one thing, and an understandable one considering how annoying and hard some kinds of items can be to find. With that being said, abusing glitches breaks any reason to play a game; it can be fun to find or play a glitch, but using them to be level 100 from the beginning to pass the game on an hour is just wasting your time.

It is interesting to see how a character who started as a plain bully became so popular in a country where bullying is so prevalent and vicious; I mean, he had character development, but for quite some time, especially during the first seasons, he was annoying, loud, and even refused help if it wasn´t from someone who was "worthy".
That is the perfect word, convoluted; the story tried to do so many things that none of them feel natural or well-developed. I swear I've been hating the latest chapters so much! Like, what is the outcome going to be, Midoriya is going to lose all his powers to save Shigaraki?
Indeed, this train is traveling way too slowly; I hope it speeds up before the year ends.

Really? Isn´t there something that calls your attention a bit? I mean, I understand your point of view, after a while all Shonen starts feeling the same and all romances end up in the same way; honestly, Boku No Hero killed my enjoyment since it was there when I realized all is the same.
I remember I saw some comments about how the latest episode of Cherry Magic omitted some scenes from the first night between Adachi and Kurosawa, and while I would have liked to watch them, I feel the end of that episode was very romantic. I hope the story receives a sequel, an OVA, or a movie because I noticed there is a very important moment from the manga about to come.
I came to like Minato a bit more in his later appearances, but I am still on the fence with him; I personally like Fujisaki, but maybe that is because I want to feel she is supportive of Aadachi and Kurosawa's relationship. I understand your dislike for the trope, though.

Don´t worry, although I also feel bad for taking more than a month hahaha; things were very hectic the last month. I sent my computer to get fixed, and I am using an old one I own that doesn´t work very well; also, my cat died, she was my baby and it hasn´t been a day I don´t miss her and want her sleeping next to me.

Ok then, I will buy Breath of the Wild when I find a none-overpriced copy; I swear Nintendo is losing its goddamn mind with how expensive their prices are. It is a miracle to find on the eShop good discounts; at Christmas, I bought some that look quite interesting, such as Digimon Survive and Undertale.
As of now, I don't have any issues with spoilers in video games because there is nothing calling my attention; still, I know how annoying spoilers can be to others, and also how some trolls just enjoy posting important details to annoy others.
Exactly! One thing is to use a Glitch to see what happens or to harvest things that are difficult to find or scarce, but another thing is to pass the stages with only glitches. The most annoying ones I have seen are in Mario Kart and Mario 64; when I saw people doing them so naturally, I questioned myself, what is the point of buying the game if you just want to cheat without enjoying it?

I mean, I understand he had character development, but it is hard to forget how awful and annoying he was; I swear I just cannot get how he is a fan favorite, which I attribute to the immense plot armor he has. I think it was stated that Bakugou was having a moment of strength before succumbing to immense pain from his revival, but after having so many moments showing his death was almost real, I am now convinced the author loves Bakugou more than the fandom. I swear I have so many things to say but I just cannot enumerate them; this story is in such a constant downhill that as of now writing everything would be like writing the worlds stressing essay.
I agree, things started to go downhill after the Star & Stripes arc; I have said it once and I will say it until the end, I am still reading My Hero Academia as an obligation because I spent way too much time on it. Horikoshi has a superb talent in the art category, and I hope someday he draws something else, but maybe the story could be from another person. Hahaha, I like and share that, reading BNHA at this point is like watching a pending trainwreck; which is something I think most readers feel nowadays.

Really? Honestly, compared with past years I feel Ecchi has been largely decreasing, fortunately; although maybe I've been just lucky in avoiding it and picking anime where there isn't that much.
Back to the important part, I love Cherry Magic a lot! I am so eager to give it a 10, but I will wait for the end to rate it. At first, I was a bit on the fence with the art, but it quickly grew with me, alongside the soundtrack. I must say I love Kurosawa so much, especially the way he felt for Adachi; moreover, I like the way in which Adachi´s mind-reading power basically made him see the bad side of the world, with people being disgusted by him or criticizing him, but with Kurosawa, he found someone who loves him for who he is; I really want to see them as a couple!
I have to say I disliked the blonde guy a bit; there is no need to be so rude to people. So far, he seems to be a pretty judgemental and annoying person. What happened in the live-action that didn't happen in the anime adaptation?

Thanks a lot for your kind wishes; I really appreciate them :)
Also, sorry for the late reply; I hope you have a great week C:

Good to know Breath of the Wild is such a good game; I have heard good comments and read nice reviews about it, so I am going to consider buying it if I see it at a reasonable price, maybe I will buy a used copy. I bought the DLC of Pokemon Scarlet, but I don´t know why I cannot bring myself to enjoy it; which is weird because I love the characters introduced, and the story so far is very good, but I just cannot enjoy it as much. I like the Megaman X collection that I bought some days ago; it is funny how much I struggle with some of those games, and now I am enjoying it a bit more.
Exactly, nowadays you cannot spoil yourself with a small detail, is either all or none. Still, I am thankful for those tutorial videos that teach you how to reach some places that you may have skipped.
Something that always bothered me is the way some players overused bugs to pass levels; Super Mario 64 is full of glitches some people used to pass stages faster, which I think is a bit boring.

The struggle is so real; I swear I hate how much protagonism Bakugou is receiving. I know he has had one of the biggest character development in the show, but from the very first moment he has been praised by everyone while Izuku is constantly belittled; hence, right now he will be considered basically a god in his universe for defeating the biggest villain society ever met. On the contrary, I am very sure the author will make the fight between Izuku and Shigaraki visible only to the viewers and not to the people who wanted to kick him out of the school.
One of the things I didn´t like about this final arc, and I think I mentioned but I will repeat it hahaha, was how the topic of discrimination was implemented way too late and forgotten as fastly as it was introduced. It could have been interesting seeing Izuku watching discrimination and how hero society didn´t defend nor protect everyone they should have.
I consider the Paranormal Liberation War arc to be the peak, and the Dark Hero arc and Star and Stripe arc were good, but after that, I feel the story went downhill. As of now, I just want the manga to end.
I can understand a bit the business and support group, especially because they showed how hard the heroes were fighting; on the contrary, Class C doesn´t make any sense, and as of now I can only think they will graduate from a Heroes school without receiving training, preparation, or even a license to be heroes.

I do understand how the anime portrays the darker side of society, and I agree with your points since there were several instances where characters betrayed others to get more power, murdered just because, and enjoyed the pleasures of excesses. Still, it was nasty sometimes, just like that episode where Akira had a wet dream and the ceiling of his room was full of we know what. The first episode was very strong in terms of imagery, so I can understand coworker wasn´t able to finish it hahaha.

Me too! I am also waiting for Cherry Magic to air; I think it will air on January 6th, and I am very eager for it. Another new anime I am expecting as well is Mr. Villain's Day Off.
I am also waiting for the sequels of Mashle, The Dangers of My Heart, High Car, and Urusei Yatsura.
Since I am currently on holiday I have time and I will see if there is something else that calls my attention.
I am not going to lie, from the last season I didn´t enjoy many anime, and the ones I finished weren´t the best. I did like Kamierabi and Overtake; especially the second one which was a good combination of drama and sports.

One anime I am eager to watch is A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!; that is one of my favorite manga, and I almost cried when I read the news it was receiving an anime adaptation in 2024.

I know is a bit late, but I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, as well as a Happy New Year; I hope 2024 brings you great moments, as well as happiness and health for you and your loved ones C:
Hazbyn Dec 15, 2023 8:58 PM
Are you a fan of The Legend of Zelda franchise? I played some time ago Phantom Hourglass and it was pretty good; on a whim, I bought a copy of Ocarina of Time 3DS which I am enjoying a lot. I take my time with those games, to the point that there are weeks where I do not play them and then I am playing for days. Back to the topic, I can understand your anger at getting spoiled at the final of Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda´s game tends to have beautiful conclusions; I accidentally spoiled myself at the ending of Ocarina of Time and I deeply regret it.
Honestly, for reasons I don´t understand I am not liking videogames spoilers; which is a new one for me. For instance, with Pokemon now that the second DLC appeared; I wanted to know the new Pokemon´s designs, but when I saw spoilers about the story I got angry.
Hahaha, the eye candy has been very popular as far as I know; and is funny because is true, the anime did make everyone way thirstier hahaha.
I completely agree with you on that; even though the mindset is not as strong as in past years, there is still a group of people who enjoy shaming and humiliating others for what they like; that is such a childish thing to do. I agree, that while there are anime solely developed for younger audiences, there are others that are shocking and dark in nature and would engage a lot of people if they were judgemental.

Horikoshi is too reluctant to make big changes; he relies way too much on last-second-saving moments, just like what happened with All Might in one of the latest chapters when another character was basically dead and saved him. While several Izuku haters complained about how dark his change was, I honestly enjoyed Izuku´s time away from the school; I wished it lasted a bit longer, or at the very least to continue until the end of his first year and return the second one. I know! how can a bunch of kids be even stronger than professional heroes with years of experience? I know the focus is on the UA students and their development as heroes, but still doesn´t make sense. I feel BNHA is going to end in a way everyone who died is resurrected.
You know, another thing that I cannot ignore is the UA itself, how does it work? It was said Class A and B are for the students in training to be heroes, while Class C is for students who may have a chance to ascend to the hero class, but what happens to them if they never go to either Class A or B?

I don´t know why, but with the sentence of "being straight-up torture porn" I immediately remembered Devilman Crybaby hahaha; I know it is in your favorites and I am sorry, but while there were some very deep and emotional moments, I think that anime was almost a Hentai. In stories with tones of destruction as well as murderous villains, it would make sense for one or two characters to die every once in a while. While not being perfect, I feel Kimetsu no Yaiba did a good job at showing how strong villains can be, and that not everyone can survive in the end. If there is one anime I feel killing characters was well balanced is Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans; the deaths added more reasons to fight in that series, as well as giving a huge punch to the guts.

By the way, now that the year and seasonals are almost over, which was your favorite anime this season? Are you looking up to something the next one?
Hazbyn Nov 7, 2023 6:23 PM
I have to say that these days I don´t mind videogame spoilers; some games I bought thinking were going to be great are now on my shelf without any plans to be played again. I wanted to buy Super Mario Bros. Wonder because it looked very original, but I decided to watch some videos of the first levels as well as some reviews; now I am set to buy it for Christmas as a gift to myself hahaha. Still, I cannot disregard that knowing everything about a game before playing it kills a bit of the enjoyment; when the first games of Pokemon, Mario, and Zelda were released people should have kicked some walls thinking on how to continue after reaching certain spots hahaha.
Yes, MAPPA is definitely ecching the male characters of Jujutsu Kaisen hahaha. Seeing the scene of Nanami holding that guy's hair in the manga wasn´t as strong as it was in the anime. I know I think it has been said something about siblings, but I was so weirded out on that scene; it felt like coming out of a horror movie.
Yes, in Chile those stations with Crunchyroll advertisement has also appeared. The notes were cute in my opinion; some people say it was cringe, but I liked it to some degree. Still, kissing the subway walls was way too disgusting; as you say, those walls must have several germs, and kissing them would be like creating a new COVID.

Now that I think about it, Izuku leaving the school would have hit even harder if it was in his final year and left before graduation. After that, there could have been a short time skip with him pursuing villains for quite some years. I understand if some students have powerful powers and are talented at using them, but for them to be teenagers overpowering villains with decades of experience was a bit unbelievable. People don´t change that much in a few years, making their characters grow doesn´t mean that, in BNHA for instance, Midoriya is going to look like Zoro. Moreover, I dislike a bit how much the story is being dragged; but what I truly hate is how the author introduced several good points too late in the story.
Back to time skip and aging characters, I am currently reading the manga Mission Yozakura Family, and after a 5 year skip all the main characters look the same; yet, the author added a pair of twins who are utterly annoying and unnecessary.
I know is hard to kill characters off, especially the main ones that are very popular among the readers/viewers; nevertheless, killing off one or two can show how strong villains are.
Hazbyn Oct 23, 2023 8:05 PM
I don´t know why, but I remember when Pokemon Scarlet and Violet got released and people were posting 10 pictures on Instagram, and only the last one had an actual spoiler hahaha; some decent people publish very safe spoilers at least. Moreover, when I see spoilers in Japanese I don´t mind it that much since I cannot read them.
Regarding Jujutsu Kaisen, I absolutely love the way the latest episodes have been adapted; Mappa did a marvelous job with Nanami defeating that yellow-haired b-word, and with the fight between Yuji and Choso as well. I must say the picnic scene creeped me out a bit.
After what happened in one of the latest manga chapters with Gojo, people put messages on a Crunchyroll advertisement that had Gojo on the subway. The messages and notes were one thing, but the kisses were a bit nasty; that subway wall must have been dirty as hell.

The mutant powers discrimination would have been amazing to see from way before; it makes a lot of sense and would have mirrored events in the X-Men, but in a society that appeared more equal and also discriminative against people without powers. It sucked that it was touched in detail so late and for like three or four chapters.
I completely understand you on that; I can understand if those kids have overpowered abilities, but it doesn´t make any sense how in just a year of study they defeated villains nor even most veteran heroes were able to defeat. Bakugou had the biggest plot armor, aside from Yuno in Black Clover, ever made; there wasn´t any way for him to survive. Horikoshi and Tabata need to learn to kill their characters; Black Clover could have been way better with some serious deaths.

Thanks a lot, I had a great weekend; have an excellent week :)
Hazbyn Oct 11, 2023 4:22 PM
To be honest, I already gave up; if spoilers appear thanks to the algorithm I no longer care hahaha, I will still enjoy the story regardless of how many spoilers I see. Just like with Jujutsu Kaisen, I know everything that will happen to Nanami, Nobara, Megumi, and Gojo, and know I am trying to prepare my heart for what is coming hahaha.
I notice you are also reading Boku no Hero; what are your thoughts on the current arc? I have a lot of mixed feelings because while I love the art, and while I consider there have been several good plot points introduced, I feel those were raised way too late, and would have been interesting to see before; such as the segregation people with mutant powers receive.

I am now praying for things to go well in the following weeks, so I appreciate every good vibe; thanks a lot for your kind words. Hope you have a great rest of the week C:
Hazbyn Oct 2, 2023 10:01 PM
Don´t worry about spoilers; I may enter a period where I will not be able to watch much anime, especially older ones. I am glad to hear that the movie was good enough to allow another season; that story was very compelling and funny.
I understand your point, mainly because is true; during his first appearance, it was only stated that he was only a member of one of the most powerful families and that he had a song he didn´t care about. I don´t read the manga but I know most of what happens in the story thanks to Instagram and Facebook anime pages I don´t even follow hahaha, and as far as I am aware, there will be more about his story; to avoid spoilers I will not enter into detail.

Things have been improving a bit lately, so October has been nice so far; thanks for asking hahaha.
I hope you have a great week :)
Hazbyn Sep 26, 2023 6:22 PM
Nice to hear, I will watch it as soon as I can; maybe before the next season starts. After the movie ended, was there a chance for a continuation?

Really? A lot of people in my country fell in love with Toji and were eagerly waiting for him to appear in the anime. I honestly feel he was a crappy person, yet I understand him a bit since he was loathed and abused by his family. The soft expression he had on his face was shocking and sad, yet, I am convinced he cared for Megumi in his own way; there was a reason why he thought on Megumi before dying and told Gojo about Megumi and the Zenin.

I am glad to hear you are doing fine; honestly, this has been a very hard month, but I´ve been doing a lot better these past few days.
I hope you have a nice end of the month.
Hazbyn Sep 20, 2023 7:26 PM
You are welcome; I am glad to hear you had a nice day :)
I saw your profile, and thanks to you I remembered Bakuten had a movie; I am definitely going to watch it, the anime was very good and funny.

I am also watching the Jujutsu Kaisen season 2; honestly, while I knew Toji was going to be a bad person, I was shocked by the way he accepted death, he looked so calm and peaceful. I am eager to see the craziness of the Shibuya arc.

I hope you are doing fine :)
