This is by far the best season of the anime! I'm honestly shocked this got a continuation after season 2, but I am super happy. I'll keep this brief.
The storyline improved. Mo Fan went from being an OP Dual Elementalist to an OP More than dual Elementalist!
The characters were more like the ones in season 1. Some were against mo fan, and others were for him.
The fish scenes gave me chills, though not like the final fight in season 1.
Overall I give this a 20/10. If this gets a 4th season, we will see mo fan wielding every element!
A must

I have never been a big fan of sports anime. However, something about this anime hooked me.
Much like others, I was put off by the first episode. But, I was hooked by episode 3. I am reminded a lot of Accel World while watching this. The loser that is to be the king. I wish a second season had been released. The art style is from the 2000s, but it sometimes feels like the '80s. The way the characters move reminds me of roller skaters from the '70s and '80s, and it's thoroughly enjoyable. The music is awesome. Once again, '70s to '80s music, ... Jan 29, 2019

If I'm being 100% honest here, I almost dropped this anime after ep 3. But something told me to keep watching. So I did, and now it's in my top 10 favorite anime.
There was something very sweet and innocent about this anime. I admit I had tears falling down my face in quite a few places. And I NEVER cry when watching anime. The story reminded me a lot of D. Gray-Man. The MC is both the savior and destroyer of the world. The main enemy, Basra, were just like the Noah. But this anime had more heart to it. Each character had their ... Nov 17, 2018

This is one of the best anime I have watched in a while! The story was great, it wasn't stolen from another anime, and there was a lot of fan service. This reached rank 4 of my favorites list!
Your average ordinary HS student becomes a vampire overnight. He also happens to be the strongest vampire that's ever lived! And he doesn't want any of the power. Our MC spends most of his time helping others, rather than being selfish. Even going to the point of sacrificing his life for the young woman he loves. Multiple times. The story is excellent! you get to learn about the ... Nov 4, 2018

What to say without sounding like all the others...?
Misunderstood MC that gets a harem by the end. <-- That sounds about right! When you are first thrust into this anime, it seems like it'll be another OP MC Transfer student with all the other students being subpar. However, this anime achieved a school of OP female MC's that wield swords, batons, and whips and castrate (yes, you heard me right) the male transfer students. The story can put you off just a bit, but that doesn't mean you should give up watching the series (which I almost did... twice). In the end, this anime was more ... Nov 3, 2018

After season one ended, monster strike added 2 movies and 2 OVAs. These helped to change the animation style and helped the stories as well. You may not understand what is going on unless you watch Pandora and episode 0 (where oragon comes back).
The first season struggled with episode length. While an episode was 8 minutes, the show only had 6 minutes of runtime, with 2 minutes of nonsense. While the anime progressed, the length increased from 8 minutes to 13, however, there was still a lot of nonsense after an episode ended. Season 2 seems to have changed this and almost the entire ... This is by far one of the dorkiest shows I have seen. For the first few episodes, you have absolutely no clue what is going on. And it really doesn't get much better.
First of all, the episodes are only 8 minutes long (though in all reality the episodes are only 6 minutes long. 2 minutes of nonsense). Due to this, there is little time for character development. There is no real story until you hit about episode 12. This anime feels like a mixture between Pokemon, Digimon, and Yugioh, yet the episodes are a 3rd shorter than they should be! (Average is 24 mins long. ... Sep 30, 2018

I'll be 100% honest, i wanted to drop the anime after the first episode. Be warned, this anime is very dark. And it doesn't get any lighter.
The art reminds me of anime from the late 90's - early 00's. Doesn't look at all like a 2012 anime. Character development was ok, could have been better. I was NOT a fan of this anime. It just didn't have the right appeal, and took everything way too seriously. Anime has to have some humor and comedy involved, IMO. MC is OP, but that's really the only selling point of this anime. if you like dark and murderously anime, ... Sep 3, 2018

Season one of this anime was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it and watched it un under 12 hours. I have done the same for season 2 (which wasn't as good, but it was enjoyable). I have just learned season 3 will be released October 2019. So keep an eye out for that.
The main character is a weakling in the beginning and turns into an OP badass by the end. He lives a double life, as he controls two elements. This anime doesn't really have a harem aspect to it, but it is fun to watch and see the character development. I really recommend this to ... Sep 2, 2018

Fair warning, this anime got very dark.
The first season was amazing, but the second season was mainly people getting murdered by monsters. The character development went down the drain as well. Season one is really the one to watch, even though they left it as a cliff-hanger. Subtitles are very hard to read. The Chinese talk extremely fast, and the subtitles sometimes blur off the screen. It also doesn't help that only one person has subbed this series, so we get some unnecessary commentary. I would recommend watching this season to just finish the story, if you're into that kind of thing. If not, don't ... |
