What started as a masterpiece quickly started to go to ruin after chapter 6 like the calm before the storm.

The first 6 chapters were a new ray of light that had you not knowing what was coming next, nothing could be predicted and gave a strong ray of excitement chapter after chapter, unfortunately, it all tumbles downhill from chapter 7 onwards...

Initially, I wanted to rate this 10 then 6 then 3 and now 2 every chapter I read it gets ridiculous full-on nonsense.

Story: The first 6 chapters are clearly written by someone else aside from the rest of the story, it's like ... someone stole someone's work and then tried changing the writing not to be accused of plagiarism that how different the first 6 chapters are from the rest of the story.

The MC is introduced as someone who came from Japan to look for his enemies who killed his master and fled. we see mc fighting as a mercenary and using his brain for strategies that make him make use of his gun skills to win against huge armies in unexpected ways. Even the woman that the author has set to be with mc is someone who is not useless and is actually helpful which shies away from the norm.

Unfortunately, that is only until chapter 6 from then onwards it's all the usual cliches, every battle is predictable, the woman? She's now weak and someone who gets in way of mc at every turn in the series situations. for example, if it's against his enemies something has to go wrong or someone gets in the way etc and it's normally the girl. she is only useful in non-important situations.

Let's not even talk about how the MC and his Nemises are master riflemen who can shoot accurately from 500m+ but only against anyone else but themselves. Yes the MC and Nemises have plot armour that makes them miss if they are even 50m from each other and even if they are taken by surprise even if they don't move at all.

So the story revolves all around mc killing his enemies to end the story there's no deep story or anything past the basics. What's worse is that all the scenes and writing that would get you excited for battles are all gone. every battle or situation comes out of nowhere like a magic trick which is basically forced drama and this escalates and becomes worse and even worse every chapter.

"Girl being told her cross well get her hanged as a witch because it's a certain religion with M on the cross, the girl goes out of her way to etch the M on the said cross and makes it apparent to everyone which to no ones surprise she get in trouble about it".

A lot of forced drama that makes you be like wtf " MC watches a girl gets dragged, put in prison and doesn't act until she is burned to go save her at the last second" it's not like he even arrived late, and let's watch because you know mc doesn't want to kill the peasants who want to kill the girl for being a witch who absolutely did nothing wrong right? so peasants are good people right? wtf is the author writing, frankly I'd believe it if they told me it was a retard author.

Art: First 6 chapters are brilliant, full of blood, gore, very detailed scenes etc but once again from then on it degrades and becomes nothing out of the ordinary.

Characters: Frankly it's very shallow, we get 1 sudden flashback to explain what happened between MC and his Nemesis and that's pretty much it.

The drive behind the whole thing(minor spoiler)? is to get the stolen gun back to japan to save the Slut, the daughter of his master, who he was going to marry but got willingly cucked by his nemesis the other disciple before he killed the master with help of the master's daughter (unknowingly) and then abandoning her for her to apologise to said mc and ask for forgiveness to save her own skin...

That's all the character building, no other characters have any reasonable development or reason for their actions.

Frankly, it's a shit show, things happen at random, you can not make left from right and nothing seems to ever make sense or go as planned.

Update: Chapter 30 is now rated 1 star, it's utterly ridiculous and not enjoyable at all. Cut scenes everywhere, no strategy, no excellent gun scenes, just trash-tier garbage storytelling with plot armour for the win. Everything is utterly predictable and common sense doesn't work.

EG: Oh I shot your gun but all that happened was it went up In the air but works fine without any fault? amazing must be made out of indestructible material, oh but my armour got shot through yeah it's made out of paper, right? very idiotic.

Another example of stupidity, I cut my leg, fall in a river, fall through the waterfall and survive... as if he wouldn't already die from excessive bleeding but on the other hand, I get a scratch and I am on my death bed for days...

this shit surpasses comedy...

Like seriously, mc finds a traitor who got the whole army dead including his friend.... oh yeah let's let him live without a scratch since he told me 1 useful piece of information... doesn't really make his revenge desirable right? i wish mc dies and story gets burnt up.

Season 1 was a banger 10/10 for me but season 2 could not have been written any worse then todays shows that target nude scenes and romance that lack any vibe, story or awesomeness.

Season 1 we have an irregular, someone who surprises us at every turn, is super powerful and uses his power from the get go. He has a lot of secrets that surprise us and showed a lot of fight scenes with cool music.

Season 2 however is idle from that concept, we focus on a girl called Angelina and the usa forces from episode 1-10 that add no context or development ... to the story. Tatsuya is shown to be more human and less of a power house here, taking him forever to deal with enemies where in season 1 anyone that went against him was instantly dealt with.

This in turn made all development and power seen in season 1 to have not existed in season 2 , all development gone. Tastuya is having hard time to deal with enemies and is even ambushed, the pacing is frankly aggravating.

At the end we learn of a new organization that supports non magic humans that start a terrorist attack and after is when new year is starting and Tatsuya is leading the new year, THATS WHERE THE ANIME SHOULD OF STARTED.

Also the music is very cringe, having epic battle music while repairing a building, ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME??. Also he acts as if he can only restore 1 thing at a time but in season 1 we see him recovering many targets at a time which again goes back to season 1 development not being apparent here.

Lastly, I loved the sibling innocent fling during season 1 and we only got glimpse here and there every few episodes but here we get it multiple items during every episode. You'd think they made season 2 just for the sibling fling which makes you hate it all together.

Its like eating something delicious, eat in moderation and it well sparkle like a star but eat to much and you grow to hate it.

Season 2 was a very disappointing sequel and hence i believe it well stop any more seasons from being made but if there is a 3, I hope to dear god its like season 1 again.

Overall it was a cringy experience which is why i give it a 4/10.

- Now that he isn't a course 2 student anymore but a course 1, it makes the irregular title seem dull, he was great being a course 2 and should have stayed as such.

DO NOT WATCH BEFORE READING THE MANGA!!!

I really had to make a review to say the above words to warn everyone. This 4 episode skip a large part of the story [around 100 chapters] which is pretty much 90% of the development and what really makes this anime a tear jerker.

Not only is a 100 or so chapters skipped but even remaining ending Arcs are stacked on top of each other interjoin to make 4 episodes so the story flaws in a different way to the manga. A lot of the development is skipped, its like presenting the couple being together without ... the development that got them there.

I'd highly recommend if you just finished ReLife anime to start reading from VOLUME 6 until end and then watch this sequel

Unfortunately we do lose animation value as it cheeps out onto main Area by having a picture slideshow instead of animated scenes and important tear jerker scenes and sentences cut out. It is a very high paced 4 episodes.

Sound didn't really hit me that great except for ending of episode 3 which made me turn volume to max blasting it to neighbors which resulted in a score of 6 instead of 3.

Overall its a 6/10 Fair score from me as i am thankful to be able to see some scenes animated but unfortunately could not cry or feel sad at all unlike the manga where even re-reading could make me cry a river.

At first i thought this anime was only golden comedy then it become serious and at some times it made you think that its unrealistic. Its an emotional roller-coaster throughout the journey.

But in the end it makes you cry rivers, one of the best masterpiece classics in existence. For an anime that was created in the 80s its animation, sound and story are much better then some of nowadays anime.

I rate this anime paced in its timeline the 80s and not nowadays, in terms of its time everything is a perfect 10. If you were watching this when it aired you ... would give it a 10 but if you were watching it now it would still be a good 7.

I recommend you do watch it and stick to the last episode, its where the underrated gem truly shine. Of-course throughout the journey it well shine in different episodes and it all connects towards its majestic ending.

of-course theirs more that the journey offers after the ending so the manga well provide those answers, until one day we get a second season.

I truly enjoyed this and give it an outstanding 10/10, you well get racing, romance, rivalry, fighting, comedy and tears.

10/10 I have watched all 52 episodes at least 5 times, this show is the best, no cliche's no harems, no girl shit, just full on action and drama. This is by far the best anime compared to a lot of shows nowadays that are ruined by fan service and annoying girly voices.

The story is one of a kind, never found anywhere else and can be called a masterpiece. The art is also a masterpiece, in its era and even nowadays i find that art to be by far better then nowadays anime art.

Sound is extraordinary very nicely composed to go with the action ... and the drama.

Characters have their own uniqueness and background story/goals and are not treated as side characters.

I wish there is a second season but unfortunately its really under rated and it will take a studio courage to bet on it since all of them only care about $ even if they have to animate trash manga which we see a lot.

I well probably go on now to read the manga, but i do hope a second season comes in next generation, just like hunter x hunter who got re-adapted 12 years later or like cooking master which just got adapted again after 20 years, Capeta still has a chance of a second season as long as we support it!

I truly enjoyed this anime and would rate it 100/10 if i could, do give it a go, you well never be disappointed, i am sure tears well roll throughout this masterpiece adventure.

This Anime has a lot of potentials and is very funny as hell.

Story: 5 - The story is quite funny, it is full of drama and not a lot of cliches. It has a lot of character development but would do with more fight scenes.

Art: 5 - The animation is nothing special but the chibi comedy moment are always soo cute and very nicely drawn.

Sound: 6 - The Music is very enlightening and could easily be in one of the top 10 Op and End of the season.

Character: 6 - It's nice to finally see an anime with less ... of those cute feminist girly characters everyone, the characters are very mature and can be very childish sometimes but in a realistic way. Each character is unique and has their own backstory.

Enjoyment: 6 - So far after 4 episodes I can say I am glad I didn't drop it from episode 1, the pacing is a bit slow but the comedy in this is very great and the music is very relaxing and nice.

Conclusion: 6 - I had to do this review because one of the reviews for this anime broke the rules by making a review for this anime after 1 episode which I think is not fair. Follow the rules and do the review after 4 episode to really see what the anime has to offer. I recommend Spiritpact to everyone and i am sure you will gladly enjoy it.

You go into this anime expecting exciting paintball game/tournament action full of fights and action packed scenes but in truth it's a lie.

Story: 4
Not much depth is related to the main character Tachibana and the main story is about a sub-character who is afraid of an enemy he keeps losing towards. The enemy is preserved as a douchebag but in reality there is no story whatsoever or scenes that relate to him being a bad person but in reality scenes that show his honest truth. In the end its al about a girl who is secretly shown as a man to ... her teem mates so that she could play with them in matches that are hardly shown. Overall it has a basic story without much support or depth that is trying to teach a lesson in never giving up.

Art: 5
It is good and normal for today's generations but most of the scenes do not have enough detail or sequences to show a variety of storytelling modes. In general, it has a normal art with no depth.

Sound: 3
Again the sound is normal with not much exiting soundtrack but soundly matches the visual effects.

Character: 3
The characters have no unique appearance as they mostly nearly look the same with below normal character visual. All characters are skinny and look the same weight with no depth to how their skin differs.

Enjoyment:3
I sit watching it with a plank face, no emotion is shown in 95% of the time as when there's exciting scenes that you get really exited about but they instantly turn it 360& to turn you completely off and make you angry.

Overall: 4
As it revolves around many secrets it has not given answers to many of the questions an audience would ask. the story is below normal, art is average, sound is poor, characters are poor and the enjoyment is a turn off making it impossible to enjoy as all hope an audience wishes is sadly turned down.

Would i recommend a friend to watch this?
If the friend is in to gender bender girl dressed as a boy and wants to only see everyday life without any action or mystery being revealed then yes otherwise i'd never look at this again or give it the slightest recommendation whatsoever.
