The following video contain a (minor) spoiler because I didn't make it to the mid of the show.
Re:Zero is the most discussed topic on the anime board of 2016, and I had started to watch from episode 0 to episode 8. And then I dropped because I think it's another boring anime.
**Story**
- Re:zero is another story revolve around rebirth in fantasy world, like Konosuba, Overlord, NGNL, and many more anime adaptation that would followed soon. For the first episode (ep0) it's start pretty well and that's the only exciting part of the story.
The Elsa arc is intense and solid introduction
...
to the story, it have 'return to death' like 'all you need is kill' (or Groundhog day) tropes. It make me feel like when I explore the Skyrim and had been mauled by bear, beheaded by bandit, or impaled by ice needle from mages. It reflect my RPG game experience and that's the good one.
But as the second arc which introduce Rem, it contain a lot of backstory which didn't add up to the main plots. Such as the giant girl story, a tale of Satella, and the new empress elections in Game of Thrones manner. It make story became confusing and you would get easily bored.
**Art**
- It's okay, Emilia costume is innovative and Betty eyes look strange but add up. But the use of color for background is mediocre, stiff trees, stiff sunlight and stiff animation. It didn't surpass many shows in the seasons or even this years.
**Sound**
- Background music is memorable as well as OP/ED, but didn't amaze me. The voice actors/actresses works on every characters of the show are amazing.
**Characters**
- The worst part of this show, most of characters in this show are unmemorable. Subaru, the protagonist is annoying loudmouth who know nothing. And his murmuring in every scenes make him very whiny like Anakin. Even he is portrayed to be strong in physical and social ability, he still a foul boy.
Emilia and Rem are cute, yes they're cute and pretty special for being the most memorable characters of the show. And I would say I like Felt too, she's just strong and came with struggle like Arya Stark.
But most supporting characters are bland and unmemorable, Rosswald speak make me feel like he's a wicked landlord. And his personality is bland that even Dio voice (Rosswald and Dio are voiced by the same actor) couldn't save him. And some more added characters are cardboard cut-off that acted without motives.
**Enjoyment**
Annoying protagonist, poor story, what would you think about my verdict here?
**Overall**
Emilia and Rem must be angle, and that's the only good thing of this show.

Somehow KyoAni should done better.
Story: I like the setup and main mascot Ruru, but the the story progressing is way too repetitive; protagonist and his childhood friend team up fro something -> find new member -> meet some more bizarre member -> discovering their backstory -> protagonist solve it -> become more stronger team -> accomplish the great achievement. It's remind me Angle Beats, Little Busters, and many anime with school-life genre. So it's feeling so "Meh, I had seen this many times"
Art: KyoAni is KyoAni, they still careful in this
Sound: Naked Dive (OP) -> 10/10; best OP in the season
...
Junshin Always (ED) -> 10/10; it's lovable
BGM -> 1/10; it's not aspiring at all
VA -> 7/10; Decent but Kurumi and Haruhiko VA doesn't fit
Characters: At least I like Mai and Reina, but most of characters are too cardboard cutout. Which I guess to be the LN author fault for being not creative (pretty common mistake in many LN).
Enjoyment: It's OK, not close to painful as someone suggest. But if you want something good like former KyoAni works like Clannad or Haruhi, this will disappoint you so much.
Overall: In term of adaption; it's KyoAni standard to follow the source material and cut some nonsensical things in the source (in this anime, they didn't include 2 vol of LN, which I found out to be have horrible story).
But as I said that KyoAni should done better by doing something new.

After ERASED anime had come out, I decided to check the manga's author previous works to study his style, and his style is rather interesting.
Mouryou no Yurikago is a survival story with pretty strong horror element, teens are trapped in dark place with maze-like location. And it like The Minotaur Maze because it filled with monster. Will the teen survive? If yes, is it worth enough to read?
In my opinion, art it's really bad; bold lines, polygon-like face, and plain facial features. In term of shading the foreground and background also not fitted with the story theme which mean that it doesn't as scary as
...
what you may expect.
When I start to read from the first episode, it just start by immediately throwing the 'victims' into the danger instead of introducing the story. And I really like this because it make me feel like I'm in the real situation. But as the story progress, it's full of cliche from the genre. But that's not bad as the story is short and compact with intense moments.
But what I like the most is the characters development; you can see madness throughout the story, and when the story start to explain everything we will see that (SPOILER!) the infection virus aren't make monster, human mind do it. One of the example is (SPOILER!) when one of the protagonist friends at the start of the story became monster because he fear to be rejected by the team if they see that he had been infected.
And at the same time, you will see changes in every characters in the story both positive and negative. Which make all heroes and villains are memorable.
To sum up, Mouryou no Yurikago is like a roller coaster. It thrill you as the survival horror would give you with rather predictable story. But the moment you ride the roller coaster is the best moments in your life. It's simple but touchy story.
And I wander that the author will keep ERASED as simple as this story.

I have to say I love this work at every degree, it's hard to hold my tear when watch it. And I would like to watch it again.
Story: The story involved on key idea of "raising children to the point that they decide what they will be", sound boring but this work make every minutes of raising two werewolf children become memorable. However I give only 7 as I personally would like to see some path that make tense atmosphere around "fear of werewolf", it's a bit too shallow as they never shown it.
Art: I like atmosphere of the background setting and the style
...
they use, it make characters look lively. Range from city that have sad feeling, rural with friendly feeling, and forest with feel of wild animal.
Sound: I like background music, it just give warm feeling when the show is progress. And I like ending song as well as it make me want to cry in fulfilled powerful story.
Characters: I love werewolf children, from the point that both must learn how to live with human to the point that they decide what they want to be. I also like a cold farmer as he can be funny at a time. I like sorrow aura from werewolf man. Every character have memorable aspects.
Enjoyment: Good drawing style, good characters, good BGM that support solid storyline. Do I have any reason to not enjoy it?
Conclusion: You should watch this work. It would lift up every uneasy feeling that bogged your mind into charming story.

No game no life is one of my favorite anime in this season as it have good ideas and many memorable event.
Story- The drifters who drifted into the fantasy world with game as part of the diplomacy, warfare and ideology is fresh. The overall story is plain and don't have many moment to pray protagonist to beat the villain. But details of the game, tricks that have been used make many memorable moments in this anime, good job. 10/10
Art- The world of game is very beautiful as what fantasy world should be. It's also surprising to see towns of individual races. And what I like
...
the most is the screenplay, it's easily make the bland character's bibliography look interesting. But I feel like some character doesn't look very good eg. Shiro. 9/10
Sound- Some characters have very annoying voice. I really annoyed Kurami voice , her high pitched sound really screeching like drawing blackboard with chalks. But thanks to every VA that they had captured every characters personality and what they have to do. This make corny jokes become memorable events. 8/10
Character- The character setting possibility play the great role in the story. Unique personality of main characters really got me. However, Sora personality can be annoying as well as memorable, as some of his speech is awful. 8/10
Enjoyment- As above said, I'm very enjoy watching this series and I would watch if it have second season. 10/10
Overall- It have many awful and awesome moment in this anime. But the awful one isn't the main part of the story. So I recommend this anime to anyone who get bored with fantasy world with knights, dragons, brave protagonist and etc. 9/10
