So I really like this isekai... I did read 100 chapters twice after all.
I'm gonna try to sell you this manhwa which deserves a read if you're fond of the genre.
As with typical korean fashion, our protagonist is overpowered. But it's not a clone of some characters you might be thinking of if you're already familiar with other popular korean works. Forget about the self composed hero and a trendy haircut that has no feelings besides protecting his friends and beating the bad guys.
We've got ourselves someone that has truly been through a special kind of hell.
Either way, because
...
everything is easy when you're stronger than everyone else, pacing is important, and I don't think this isekai really misses the mark here. It doesn't take long for the reader to be introduced to the greater forces that make up this fantasy world. And boy is it grand. You just can't wait to see our korean Conan matched up against other strong fighters and you know... just enjoy the show. The drawings are gorgeous, and it's supported by great combats that are often fought on an epic scale.
What I particularly adore about this isekai, is the charisma that emanates from various characters, and it's not always quite clear whether they are friend or foe. Everyone has their own agenda... both players and NPCs.
When it comes to comedy, it's surprisingly alright. Honestly things kinda get pretty dark with some isekai but this one always manages to lighten the mood thanks to the main characters' chemistry.
To conclude, Latna Saga hasn't reinvented the wheel among the plethora of isekais that deal with a MMORPG setting, but where it truly shines is that it keeps things simple while still delivering an entertaining story that keeps the reader waiting for more.
A balanced isekai, and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if it gets adapted someday.

What can I say, other than if you enjoy anything related to ancient warfare, and especially China, that Kingdom is one of the best treat that you can get for yourself.

Enjoyment.
The enjoyment that you will get from this manga is simply off the chart. All you need is a bit of epic music in the background to accompany your reading (I recommend two steps from hell). Do not even bother watching the anime unless you feel the need to appoint some voices to your favourite characters (I do admit they didn't mess that up at least).

...
Story and characters.
Now, what make this seinen war manga so good? It's simple, the main forces behind it are characters with enormous charismatic auras, paired with a gigantic scope. Yes, the scope of this manga is also what allowed it to run for so long (more than ten years now).
After all, right off the bat, we are told that the end goal is to unify China. I'm around 500 chapters, and there's still not even a hint of our protagonist to be even close to succeed yet. Of course it's not like they lost sight of the goal, but rather that in order to achieve this goal, the protagonists need some time to grow, each one of them.
So do not even worry about pacing or the manga losing steam because it doesn't.
Most of the characters are stereotyped, but they all feel genuine, and none of them are irritating which is a good point. You can pretty much root for anyone. (apart from a few very bad guys that are just there for the sake of being bad).
Some of the best characters of this manga are actually quite evil to reflect the time period, but even then you still love them, because they're badass.
I would also add that the majority of the characters have plot armour for obvious or historical reasons... so I guess going in without knowing too much about the warring states definitely is better, because sometimes you really don't know if someone is actually gonna get killed in action.
Another thing... what you will witness in this manga is that generals are basically super-heroes. It's actually completely normal, because these periods of china history are pretty much mythical. Do not worry, some components of ancient warfare remain realistic: the tactics, the maneuveurs, the actual time it takes to finish a battle or a siege involving thousands of soldiers. But generals... they will cut down in half men in armour, they will kill hundred of them, no problem. And you will love it.

Art
Now this isn't an art that I had ever seen before, it's typically "round", I guess. But it's still pleasantly good to the eye. And frankly, some scenes are simply breathtaking. "Epic" is probably too weak to depict some of these panels.

Conclusion:
I just hope this manga keeps going for another ten years. This is imo the work of at least half a lifetime. The warring states period is no joke, especially since you plan to finish your work when your story has a clear historic end. And to me if after 500 chapters the author still manages to make my heart race, then the next 500 will certainly do the same.

I feel like people are trying to hard to critic what is basically a simple feel good anime. There are "plot holes" or rather things that don't make sense, but I've honestly seen worse. It's not affecting the show enough to be a bother to me, and I'm usually pretty harsh when a story doesn't make any sense.
This a short anime, supported by an excellent art direction, pacing, and voice acting.
The time travel is like the movie "The butterfly effect". The main protagonist must right the wrongs from the past leading to tragedies in the present. Here though there are far less scenarios
...
for the future, and the protagonist doesn't have to go back in time every so often.
Talking about this anime without spoiling anything is hard, but basically this anime creates a lot of pressure and sometimes frustration for the viewer (like a good thriller movie), and at the same time still manages to satisfy with the end result.
There are also scenes that made me tear up a bit, which is why in the end I really loved this anime.
I guess I'm lucky enough to be in the "this anime was good" camp.

This Act II doesn't disappoint. In fact, it gets even better.
The adding of these new first years is very well done and you just can't wait to see them grow along the main characters. Bonus point as they add some fresh humor.
Otherwise, Sawamura and Furuya are still fighting for the mound, but Sawamura is not the unreliable pitcher he was in his first year and is acknowledged by all at this point. He still messes up sometimes but that's just his character. What remains for him is obviously to get the Ace title, and he gets closer to it day by day.
He keeps advancing
...
towards his goal to become Seido's best, but it's not easy with furuya on the team. At the same time, these two fighting for the same spot is the reason why they keep growing, and it is simply thrilling to watch it.
This Act 2 also doesn't fail at reminding you that it's the last ride for some of our favourite characters... it's hard to read the last summer of the 3rd years. It just can't be helped, the team will clearly lose some of its appeal. The first years will have to fill that gap, but it seems like they will manage.
Overall, what you need to expect from this second act is :
- new and interesting characters
- a brand new Seido team in the making
- new opponents, new challenges
The seido train hasn't lost steam at all, and it's a pleasure to be on board.
