Not so long ago I decided to watch The Tatami Galaxy, it was an anime that I was planning to watch for a while now, so when i watched it, it quickly became one of my personal favorites and one of the few anime that i can wholeheartedly say that it's a masterpiece, so when I heard that it was receiving a spin-off, you bet I got excited, and i am very happy to say that it did not disappoint and that it is an easy contender for anime of the year.
Characters (10/10)
Now of course this anime is meant for people who have already watched
...
Tatami Galaxy, its not really a sequel and it also doesn't spoil anything major from The Tatami Galaxy, it's mostly meant for those who really enjoyed Tatami and just want to see more fun moments with the memorable cast, if you loved the cast of Tatami, then i can assure you that you will not be disappointed with this one, it really feels like even though its been over 10 years from the original release of Tatami, even though Yuasa's direction was missing in this one they still managed to capture that same charm that made people really like the characters, and i really can continue praising the characters more and in all honesty they are the main highlight of the show, since they are just as good as the original, had a great time with every single character, they all made me laugh and really if you wanna watch something that has a fun and diverse cast then please give Tatami a go, they are not really "DEEP" characters (Watashi did have some depth in Tatami Galaxy, but i feel like that was already explored enough so they decided to focus more on comedy and really i cant complain) but really depth is not needed to make this a very memorable cast, they are all extremely unique and I really appreciated this spin-off because more memorable times with these characters was something that I definitely needed.
Story (9/10)
I have always been of the idea that a story doesn't have to be very detailed or very complex for it to be good, some times stories are better when they are more straightforward and this definitely applies for Tatami Time Machine Blues, the story is extremely straightforward and easy to follow but despite all of that it is still extremely unique and just fascinating, its a story that had me smiling the whole time, and it works perfectly as a 6 episode series, episodes are short making it easy to watch in one sitting, it's not episodic like Tatami Galaxy was which to some certain extent i do miss the episodic aspects but i also can appreciate how well paced it is and how it manages to make an extremely fun story with the 6 episodes that its presented in, it obviously pales in comparison to Tatami Galaxy's story, but this doesn't make it bad, it does feel like a side story but a one that is definitely appreciated
Art (9/10)
Tatami Galaxy's aesthetic has always been easily recognized, it is very unique and just very pleasing, it's hard for someone to look at it and say that it is ugly, and the same applies for Tatami Time Machine Blues, but with a bit of a shortcoming, the animation is still incredible and i would even say smoother than its predecessor, but ever since episode 1 came out i did notice something, it really didn't have the same art direction as Tatami Galaxy, at a simple glance it might look identical but well since this one isn't directed by Yuasa himself, it is very easy to notice that at times it is missing that feeling that it used to have, don't get me wrong it is still amazing in this one, and Natsume Shingo did do a truly amazing job, he did his best to replicate Yuasa's art direction and overall he did one hell of a job but it just missed the same playfulness that its predecessor had, it is playful and experimental here, but just not as much as Tatami Galaxy
Sound (9/10)
Well i really don't know how much i can say in this section except that it is just as good as Tatami Galaxy in the sound department, both in the music and voice acting, the music really has the exact same style and there even is a lot of songs that are reused from Tatami Galaxy which is not a bad thing, but where music really excels is in the opening and in the ending, the opening is done by Asian Kung-Fu Generation a Japanese band that im pretty sure everyone knows, and the opening here is one of my favorite songs by them, take this with a grain of salt of course since i am a huge Tatami fan and well that just makes me like this song even more, also the ending is pretty great as well, its catchy and fits the tone of the series perfectly, both the op and ed were never skipped even once just because i enjoyed listening to them, so yeah great job with the new op and ed
Enjoyment (9.2/10)
I had a blast watching this, every episode was a great time and not once did i feel bored, i do wish that maybe they would have made the episodes a bit longer, since each one was about 18 minutes each, which is not bad considering that its a short story but a few more minutes per episode would have 100% been appreciated, now i do have to state the obvious, i did not enjoy it as much as Tatami Galaxy, and i do believe that its predecessor is better in basically every way, it does everything that Tatami Galaxy did, just not quite as perfect as it, it can be considered a "watered down Tatami Galaxy" which sounds bad but i dont mean it in a bad way, but just basically saying its just a bit inferior
Overall (9/10)
There have been so many good anime this year, but so far as of writing this i would say that this has been my highlight, it has been my favorite anime of 2022 so far, sadly i dont think that it really is for everyone, its comedy is not for everyone and really its overall vibe is not something that everyone can enjoy, its never really gonna get as much attention as many shows that have come out this same year, but i feel like it does deserve more atention, now just a little quick thing i wanted to add, Tatami Galaxy was one of those shows that does fall into the category of "Stories that leave you with a meaningful message", it was something that was necessary for its tone, and its one of the things that made me fall in love with it, its message did hit me and made me think about stuff, and i dont think Tatami Time Machine Blues really has a big impactful message like its predecessor did, but its still not devoid of its message, it has smaller messages that are still appreciated and that overall make the show better, its not as hard hitting as Tatami Galaxy, but it still was a damn good time.
That's all for me, hope you liked my review, ty!

Jujutsu Kaisen

Most of us can agree that Jujutsu Kaisen is a good show, but how good is it? Well that depends on who you are asking, i personally think that it is good but not one of my favourite shounens out there.
In the year of 2020, when JJK began airing it instantly became popular and it was a hit, i watched the first couple of episodes and thought that it had a lot of potential to become one of my favourite shounens and as much as I tried to love it like many other people, i just could not come to love it but i can ... still say that it was a good show and a quite enjoyable one. Since JJK was announced i knew that it was going to be the next big shounen, it seemed to have everything it needed to become famous and when the 1st episode aired it was huge, everyone on Twitter, YouTube, and even some of my irl friends started talking about it, everyone was praising and so was I. The story is pretty simple, our protagonist Itadori Yuji is your typical hyperactive high school boy, he seemed to live a totally normal life. Suddenly one day 2 of his friends are about to get killed by curses, so just like every other ordinary high school student, he eats a demonic finger and this gives him the powers of Sukuna who is considered to be the strongest curse out there. This story is pretty simple, its not anything complex but it still is enough to introduce us into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. So like every other shounen Jujutsu Kaisen follows our protagonist Itadori as he gets stronger and fights some curses, it really does a great job at giving us a simple yet interesting story and at first i loved that, but here is where i will stop praising the story, because as much as i loved the beginning, i felt that not much happened, and i just did not like the direction the story took, i never felt that the stuff that happened in this show was amazing, it was good, but it was not amazing, it does everything a shounen has to do and it does it well but i feel that there still hasn't been that one arc or one scene that has impressed me, and i hope there will because i want to love this show, but i cant just yet, i feel the same way about Jujutsu Kaisen than how i did when Demon Slayer first came out, but the difference was that Demon Slayer did hook me faster, but what i am trying to say is that these 2 shows have an amazing beginning, they had all the potential but then I did not enjoy the later episodes as much as the first one. I remember being hooked with Demon Slayer in the weird moving room thing Arc, it was interesting and i thought it was hella original, and Jujutsu Kaisen still hasnt had that moment that hooks me, and the first season is finally over, so hopefully the second season will have that moment were it finally hooks me, it probably will since i think that's when Shibuya Arc happens, and Jjk fans praise this arc a lot, so i have high hopes for that. Now, i know some of the things i said might have been a bit harsh, so let me just praise the one thing i love most of this show, and i am obviously talking about the animation, it should go without a doubt that MAPPA is an amazing studio (from time to time), they have done some amazing stuff and 2020 and possibly this year as well, they have been at their peak, making AOT with solid animation, with a few issues here and there, their amazing work in JJK, and they already announced that they would be adapting Chainsaw Man, you can easily tell that this studio is on fire, it still not my favorite studio but if they keep going on like this, they can easily become one of the best. When it comes to animation in Jjk, it is amazing, everything from the fights, the opening, the ending, and even just some funny moments, they all have some great animation that makes the show even more fun, and i think that this is what has kept me watching the show, i am not saying that the animation is the only good thing about Jjk, but it is definitely my favorite thing about the show. I loved the animation since episode one, that one scene were Fushiguro was running through the school hall, it just looked amazing and i think a big part of why the animation is so good is thanks to the art style, i feel that there is something about the art style, especially in the curses, that makes it look so good for action scenes, and its really cool seeing how they turned the manga into the anime, they both look amazing but the anime did a perfect job in keeping the art style. I think that MAPPA is the only studio who can adapt Jjk as well as they have been doing, if they passed it on to another amazing studio like ufotable, it just would not be the same, i think that MAPPA is the one that has the style that suits JJK perfectly, and lets be honest, if it were not for this animation the show probably wouldn't have been as good as it is. I know people are gonna hate me for what i am about to say, so please calm down, i mean you no harm, ok so... I think that the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen are a 5/10, before you start getting mad, let me explain myself. I am that type of anime watcher who mainly watches anime for the characters, whenever someone asks me what i like the most of my favorite animes, i always answer, its the characters, and i know I would like the characters more, if you know, they were more original, I do think it is kind of early to judge this because i feel that Jujutsu Kaisen is a show that is going to go on for over 100+ episodes, so there is still time for the cast to grow, maybe i will end up loving the characters later, but as of the moment, with season 1 over, I still don't like them all that much. I feel that these are characters who are kind of generic yet badass at the same time, they have all had their epic moments (SPOILERS AHEAD: If you haven't watch Jjk just skip to the next paragraph), I do think that whenever Itadori use his black flash it was cool af, we also have scenes like Gojou taking his blindfold off, which was probably what made the show famous because you know, it was kinda hot, but interestingly enough my favorite scene came from a character that i probably liked the least, and i am talking about Nobara, I never really liked her, did not like her design and some times i just did not like her personality, because it just is not my type of character, BUT the scene in the final episode when she puts all those nails in her arm was awesome, there was something about this scene that was awesome, and just seeing how much her personality changed when she was doing this, it was pretty cool, I hope characters like her have more moments like these because it lets us see another side of these characters. -SPOILERS END HERE- Overall the characters were definitely not my cup of tea, but maybe they will actually get better, only time will tell. I can easily say that my favourite episode if this show was the last one since i think it had the coolest moment of the whole show and i felt that there was a lot of emotion in it, and it also kind of sets up the next season. I did enjoy Jujutsu Kaisen, some people may think that my 7/10 score is a really low score, but i dont see that as a bad score, its a show i enjoyed, I think it deserves being considered as one of the new big shounens because compared to some other shounens, it is much better. I really like that a lot of people who are not even anime fans are also watching this show, its show that i can confidently say that it is for everyone, i am sure you will enjoy at least one part of it, maybe you like the animations, the characters or maybe you just find Gojou hot, I personally am not the biggest fan of this show but its definitely a show that i will keep on watching it since they already announced the movie that will be adapting the prequel. So to conclude this, I think that Jujutsu Kaisen is a really good shounen, it has a unique story and amazing animation, its a show that almost anyone can enjoy, I don't consider it to be one of the best Shounens but it definitely is a really good one. Story:(7/10) Art:(8.5/10) Sound:(8/10) Character:(5/10) Enjoyment:(6/10) Overall:(7/10)

Disclaimer: This review contains SPOILERS, it is highly recommended you watch Re:Zero season 2 before reading this review, i promise you won't regret watching it.
Re:Zero 2nd season part 2 is the perfect sequel for Re:Zero, this is coming from someone who did not love the first season of Re:Zero, i always thought that the world and characters were amazing but the first season never did anything mind blowing with these characters but thankfully Re:Zero season 2 did everything i wanted from this show and it did an amazing job at it. Now, is Re:Zero a masterpiece? No, i would not consider to be a masterpiece YET, ... i think it definitely has the potential of being a masterpiece if they make the right choices, this season showed a huge improvement over season 1 and if it keeps improving even more it would surely become a masterpiece. Story(9/10): The story in Re:Zero is absolutely amazing, everything about the world building screams good writing, the author did a perfect job at showing us this wonderful world that has magic and all that stuff, while at the same time being kind of terrifying, i say terrifying because of just how many ways people can die in this world. They did a great job with the witches and all the lore there is in this world, but anyway enough talking about the world, the story in this season was always really interesting, everything from Emilia's backstory, and all the things that happen in the sanctuary are always really interesting. My only complaint about the story is two little nitpicks and those are: 1. I felt that at certain times the story in the sanctuary was dragged out, I thought that it was always interesting but sometimes i kind of just wanted it to have a bit of a faster pace. 2. I do think that Emilia's backstory was really good but the only problem with it was the first episode of her backstory, nothing really happened aside from Petelgeuse's reveal and loli Emilia just being cute, it was cool but i felt that they could have made the beginning of the backstory a bit faster but it doesn't really matter because it sets everything up for the next couple of episodes which are amazing. The final episode of this season was absolutely amazing, it concluded this arc perfectly and it also was amazing, I really liked how the final episode showed us just how much Emilia had grown and how the relationships between some characters were just better, seein Emilia and Subaru talking was really cute, a lot of their scenes made me laugh and it was just really nice. I hope the next seasons can be as good as this season or even better. Art(7.5/10): The art in Re:Zero season 2 was underwhelming. Not saying that it was bad but there definitely was a quite noticeable downgrade from the previous season, but it is pretty understandable since White Fox was working really hard in another anime, Mushoku Tensei which had probably the best animation of the whole season. The animation was not amazing but there was one scene which had some amazing animation and is also probably my favorite scene in the show, i am obviously talking about Garfield vs Elsa, that fight was absolutely amazing, the animation was beautiful, the OST was amazing and the dialogue was also amazing, it is easily my favorite anime scene of 2021 so far, and i was really impressed with the animation because not only is it the best scene (animation wise) of the whole anime, i really do hope that the animation gets better in the next season because although it was not bad, sometimes it bothered me just a bit, but it really is not that important because no one should watch Re:Zero for the animation and fights. Sound(9/10): The soundtrack in Re:Zero is really damn good, it has quite a bit of tracks that are really emotional and some that are just epic, not only that but both the opening theme and the ending also slap, at first i didn't love the opening but then it started to grow on me and it became one of my favorite openings of the season. When i talk about sound i dont only talk about the OST, I also like to talk about the VA performances, every single character in Re:Zero has a perfect voice, especially Subaru, and well obviously Emilia too because her VA is Rie Takahashi which is easily one of the most famous seiyuu out there, but seriously I felt that the performances of these characters were amazing, they always had emotion, and that is genuinely impressive cuz i have seen quite a bit of anime in where the characters don't really have that much emotion in them. Character(10/10): Have you ever seen an anime and said to yourself ¨Damn, these characters are amazing¨, well that basically is what i felt with the characters in Re:Zero, you know the characters are good when they made you feel bad for Elsa's death. My first image of Subaru was ¨Oh god, another one of those annoying NEET characters¨, and now i can confidently say that Subaru is easily one of my favorite protagonists, I feel that season 2 was finally the season that Subaru actually got good, and by the end he is just awesome, he turns into such a nice dude who you really come to like, and Subaru is not even the only good character in this anime, he is just one of the many. Just so you know, i never thought that Re:Zero had any ¨Top tier waifus¨, i know some people are gonna hate me for this but i always thought that Rem was alright I thought she was good and that's it, and if you are saying that Re:Zero sucks because Rem has been sleeping this whole season then just stop watching it, i am pretty sure she is gonna wake up in like season 4. My favorite female character was easily Echidna because i thought that both her design and personality was really cool although i am still traumatized by that kiss she gave to Roswall, oh and also something that i really did not understand was why did she look so different in her body in the crystal, is it actually the same person or idk? But easily the character who definitely got the most attention and development was Emilia and I also used to think that Emila was alright but with this season i would say she is one of the best characters in the series, her backstory really made me understand her more and also seeing how she learned to change thanks to Subaru was also really cool and if they keep focusing on her i do think she has the potential to became the best character. I wanna talk about some of the characters that did not get as much attention as Subaru and Emilia but they were also awesome: -Garfield-: At first I thought that Garfield was a pretty annoying character but in this second part he finally started growing on me, thats thanks to his backstory and his relationship with Subaru, he also was in the best fight of this season so thats also a plus. -Otto-: I always thought that Otto was a fun guy but i never really thought he was gonna be important but thanks to the second episode of this part he finally got the development he needed and he was extremely useful to the cast so that was also pretty cool, his backstory although it was short it is easily one of the best ones in this anime. -Ram-: Ram is pretty cool imo, and she was made even better with the final scene in episode 10 (I think it was episode 10 although i am not so sure), it was probably one of the most emotional scenes in Re:Zero, although i will say, why the hell does she love Roswall so much, like i understand why she is in love with him but still why that dude, you could have chosen anyone else Ram. -Roswall-: I would say that Roswall was the main antagonist this season, and he was an amazing one, his obsession to that book and Echidna was a bit too much but that made him really interesting, and in the last episode it was cool seeing how he was not using the same body as he was 300 years ago and i am also pretty interested in saying how he will fit in with the rest of the characters. -Beatrice-: I am not a huge fan of Beatrice like some other people but i will say she was pretty cool in the last 2 episodes, I still don't love her but I did start to like her a bit more and i hope she has more moments like in the last 2 episodes because i think she can become a better character. Overall the characters in Re:Zero are some of the best and they were developed much more this season and i really liked that because i mostly watch Re:Zero for the characters since they always have some really good dialogue. Enjoyment(9/10): This season is easily the one i have enjoyed the most and it is easily my favorite anime of the season, and that is pretty big since there is a lot of amazing shows this season. I enjoyed the characters, the story and everything else, i do think that the animation was a bit lackluster but it does not really matter because i am not here for the animation, but i definitely think it could improve. I am really excited for a third season and i hope that it will be better than this one because i do think that Re:Zero can become one of my favorites if it just does it well. Overall(9/10): Re:Zero is an amazing show, it is worth watching and i will stick with it until it ends, I do think that if you are someone who is complaining that this season did not have that much action and that it was more character focused, then you should stop watching this show because from what i can predict it is going to be like this in every arc. But anyway Re:Zero is a show that i can recommend to almost anyone and well if you don't like it well then maybe its just not for you, maybe you should watch something like Jujustsu Kaisen if you are more into the action stuff. To end this off i just want to say that i hope that Re:Zero gets even better because it has all the potential to be one of the best animes ever.

Disclaimer: I will try my best to review this movie in the fairest way possible, but keep in mind that this review is coming from a Fate fan so if you want to you can take it with a grain of salt.
Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel III: Spring Song, is a movie that i have been waiting for over a year and I was finally able to watch it, and all i can say is that this surpassed my expectations. So, i am currently writing this review after quite some time after watching the movie, and that is because I wanted to read the Visual Novel, i ... had already read the whole Fate route and most of UBW so i decided to finish it before writing this review and tbh i think that the anime is better than the visual novel, don't get me wrong both are amazing but i enjoyed ufotable's adaptations much more but anyway i wont get into that right now since this is my review for HF3. This review is completely spoiler free, so you can read it without being scared of spoilers, but there is spoilers for HF2, so if you have not watched that movie, please do, its also an amazing movie. Story(10/10): The story of HF3 starts exactly after HF2's devastating ending, we see how our protagonist Emiya Shirou is suffering since the beginning, it really does a perfect job of setting the tone for this movie and i feel that the direction team in this movie knew what they were doing because throughout the whole 2 hours i never felt that any time was wasted, they give us all the information we need to perfectly understand this story and give it the most satisfying ending possible for Fate/Stay Night, some VN readers may complain about how they decided to adapt certain scenes in the last 10 minutes of the movie but i personally think that these changes were something we needed and ends up making it much more emotional. Now, i can understand how some people may not like the pacing in the ending but i think it was done perfectly because they only put what was vital and there was really is no need to extend the ending any more since you are able to see what happens after the end of the Holy Grail War, we see how certain characters grew and i found it beautiful on how they decided to end the movie, i was feeling emotional throughout the whole two hours in this movie. The story is everything that a Fate fan can hope for and it actually gives it a nice closure that does not leave you craving for more, instead it makes you remember everything that happened in this trilogy and how it finally came to its end, I don't want to spoil anything so i will just say, the ending was really not predictable but it was perfect. Art(10/10): Its already known that ufotable is one of the best anime studios, from their work in Demon Slayer and the Fate franchise, they always keep improving upon themselves, i used to think that ufotable's animation cant get better after watching Demon Slayer episode 19 but their work in HF3 makes episode 19 look like child's play. It does not matter if you are a Fate fan or not, because you are still gonna find the animation to be beautiful. It goes without a doubt that the fight between Saber Alter and Rider is easily one of the best animated scenes in anime, I personally consider it to be the best animated fight of all anime and if it would be my favorite fight of all time but interestingly enough i found one other fight to be better in this movie, which is currently my favorite fight of all time although it doesn't beet Saber alter vs Rider in animation. (I don't wanna mention which fight it is because i am trying to avoid spoilers) I just talked about the animation in fights but in general every scene in this movie is animated perfectly an i would say that its the best animation in anime, but i cant really say that since i still haven't watched Demon Slayer Mugen Train. Sound(10/10): Ok i just want to address something very quick because there are some people who just wont shut up because they did not play one song in specific, and of course i am addressing this to the people who are complaining that they did not play Hikari to Yami (final fight ost in the VN), yes they did change it so what? If they would have played it in the last fight it wouldn't have fit in just because the feeling that the VN and the movie give you is completely different, so please stop complaining about ufotable not playing that song, the song that they decided to play instead of Hikari to Yami also slaps. So, anyway this movie's soundtrack is composed by Yuki Kajiura which if you don't know her, she is the one in charge of the OST for Madoka Magica and Demon Slayer so basically she is an amazing composer that always makes bangers. Since the beginning of the movie we know that the OST will be amazing because they couldn't have chosen a better song to start of with, i would also like to mention some that were amazing like Rider vs Saber alter theme, the final fight theme and obviously the best track in the OST which is EMIYA, now i will just start praising the EMIYA theme because i genuinely think that it is the best version of the song and trust me, there is a lot of versions of EMIYA and i mean a lot. So to just kind of explain how the song was just combine EMIYA from Unlimited Blade Works(2015) and combine it with EMIYA #LEGACY, which are both 2 of the best versions and combining them just turns it into a complete beauty that will make you feel hype af, i remember when the theme started playing everyone in the theatres were losing their mind and i was no exception, i was watching the movie with a friend and we were both surprised in how good this version turned out, sadly they only play it once for less than 2 minutes but it still was amazing and the scene that included this song was easily the best part of the whole movie. Character(9.5/10) You may ask yourself, why did you give the characters a 9.5, and don't worry i have the answer and i hope we can agree with this. I gave it a 9.5 because of a single character and i am obviously talking about Zouken, if i had to pin point one thing i did not like about the HF trilogy, it would easily be Zouken and its such a shame because every single character and i literaly mean everyone in this movie was perfect and it sucks that Zouken was the only bad thing, everything from his goal, personality and design, was horrible and i hate to say it but the only scenes that i felt the movie was wasting time was whenever Zouken appeared, but well whatever every other character is amazing so it does not affect the score that much. Tl;Dr: Since the next section is going to be really long i will just write the most important parts here so you don't waste your time. So basically the characters in this movie were amazing, it was really interesting to see really different sides of some characters which we never really saw much about in previous movies, the one that surprised me the most was Kirei Kotomine, i knew he was going to do something big in this movie but it surprised me how important he was and how early they started to develop them, he is easily one of the most important character in the movie, second to Shirou and Sakura obviously, but interestingly enough even characters like Illya, Tohsaka, Rider, and Saber alter, all get quite a bit of screen time which is great because some of them really never had much screen time, especially Rider. So basically that's it for the tl;dr, if you want more read the larger character analysis which is this next section. Character analysis(pretty damn long fyi): I want to put a lot of focus for the main characters in this movie, cuz they were all just *chefs kiss* amazing. So lets begin! -Shirou Emiya-: Oh Shirou, a character loved by many and also hated by many, now i want you to know that i loved Shirou ever since i first saw Fate/UBW(2015), because i always loved how they made him a ¨hero of justice¨ character who actually does have an interesting ideology and how he really isn't just like ¨i wanna be a hero¨ and that's it, i will always say that Shirou vs Emiya is an amazing fight and the best in UBW because of how much they develop Shirou and how it really helps for us the viewers to finally understand him, and wow, they made him and even better character in Heaven's Feel. If you used to be someone who thought that Shirou was a selfish idiot and hated him because of that, i can assure you that all of that will change when you watch this movie, because they turned him from a guy who was selfish, to a real man who was prepared to sacrifice himself for those he loves. There are some scenes in this movie that really made Shirou a better character, i would say that most of this movie's best scenes are as good as they are thanks to Shirou and its even better cuz it really makes you change your view of Shirou which is honestly impressive because as someone who already loved Shirou i found it amazing how we still hadn't seen everything about him, and its even better because in this movie we finally actually see Shirou suffer, some thing we did not see in previous routes so it makes us understand the man even better. And now with certainty i can say that Shirou is my favourite anime character of all time. -Kotomine Kirei-: Damn, after watching this movie i realize that they kind of did Kirei dirty in UBW and in the Fate route, i first saw UBW and thought that Kirei was an alright character, but after UBW i watched Fate/Zero and i remember being shocked because he easily turned into one my favourite antagonists, and when i read the Fate route in the VN i thought he was definitely better than in UBW but he still was no where near as good as in Zero, so in all honesty i kind of had my hopes kind of low for HF's version of Kirei and i can only say one thing, he was much better than how he was in Zero, i did hear good things about Kirei before watching this movie, but i did not think he would be as good as he turned out to be, I was really impressed in how much focus they put on Kirei since the beginning of the movie, his interactions with Shirou were amazing, they were really funny at times and some times they were just badass. I also found it amazing how they decided to show us more of Kirei's way of thinking and it also had a huge focus in showing us why Kirei acts the way he is, it was breathtaking and he was a nice surprise whenever he appeared, i seriously hope people don't spoil themselves about stuff that happened in this movie because it had some amazing revelations and i am saying this because i sadly did spoil myself about some things, mostly about Kirei so it was kinda sad that i knew some of the things that was going to happen with his character. -Rin Tohsaka-: Tohsaka has been my waifu for a long time, and she gets even better in this movie, there is not as much development for her character but we still saw her go through some epic things and one of her fights was badass and really emotional at the same time, I love how they managed to keep her in character throughout the whole movie since she also went through some hard moments but no matter what happened she stayed as best girl throughout the whole movie, so instead of Shirou and Kirei's interesting interactions, Tohsaka had some awesome interactions with Sakura that were really emotional and just beautiful, and yes my fellow Tohsaka fans, she still had the thighs. -Sakura Matou-: Well, Sakura is really interesting, she was always a side character in the previous routes but in this route she played the role of the main heroine and we got to see why she was always kind of shy and kinda gloomy, now i love Sakura's character but out of the three main heroines she is easily my least favorite, mostly because i was never a fan of the kouhai characters, but her role in HF3 was huge and really interesting because we see her in her angsty teenager face, no but joking aside we see how she is going crazy and how she cant control herself anymore, she is not the same old cute Sakura but we can still see how even though she has gone mad she is still herself, we also get emotional moments with her and we as the viewers really feel bad for her, I think that we can all admit that Sakura has one hell of a tragic backstory but we also just want her suffering to end and for her to finally be happy. -Illyasviel Von Einzbern- Illya, the 18 year old loli, this is one character that i have seen quite a bit of people criticise her in the HF trilogy, mostly because they say that they don't really give her as much development like in the VN but what did you expect, they had to cram a 30 hour route in to only 6 hours, but despite of that i feel really attached to her in this movie, because even though there never was a huge focus for her in the previous movie, I still felt attached because we definitely get much more focus in this last movie, and we could finally see a good version of Illya and one that we felt that must be protected no matter what. -Rider-: Finally to close off the characters, i wanna talk about rider because Rider never had a big moment in the previous routes, but in this route they finally decided to giver her the spotlight she deserved, she had one of the best moments in the movie, i am obviously talking about Saber alter vs Rider, and she was just such a nice character, we see how even though Sakura had gone mad, she still wants to save her and will do anything to accomplish her goal, she is the definition of a loyal servant, and whenever Shirou and Rider interacted was just so damn good because they were just so cool together, she became one of my favorite servants in the whole fate franchise with this movie and i am glad that she finally had a big role to play because in the previous routes i was always like Damn, that servant looks cool, and then they just kill her but in this route she finally got what she deserved. To finally close this off, i just want to say that the characters are probably the best part of the whole movie, and tbh i think that even you are not a fate fan you probably will still enjoy at least one of the many amazing characters. Enjoyment:(10/10) I came into this movie with high expectations considering how much i enjoyed the previous one which was easily my favorite anime and this one was even better than the second one and absolutely destroyed my expectations, i do think that almost anyone can enjoy this movie even though you did not enjoy the second one, and just if you are curious i do think that the only thing you need to watch to understand HF is UBW and Zero is optional but definitely recommended, there is also a scene that to understand it perfectly you should watch Kara no Kyoukai but even if you don't watch KnK you can still understand it perfectly fine so don't worry about it. So i thoroughly enjoyed every last second of this movie, I was lucky enough to be able to watch the 3 movies on a single day in the cinema and i was shaking when the second one ended because i was finally about to witness HF3 and it was just beyond a masterpiece and its by far my favorite anime. Before finally closing this off i just wanted to talk about some complaints about this movie which i have heard some people talk about, it mostly has to do with people complaining about it not being the same as the VN. It kind of makes me sad seeing how many VN readers hate this movie for some reasons that i find to be really stupid, for example people are really complaining on how they did not implement Shirou's monologues which is obvious that they wouldn't put them in because it is a movie not a VN, and as i said in the beginning of this review, i took my time to read the whole VN, i even did every ending because i wanted to see if the VN readers were correct, and look Shirou's monologues were awesome but it would not have been as good to have the monologues in the movie, the reason that I really wanted to talk about this was because i started seeing how people complained about how the movie was not understandable for people who did not read the Novel which is a complete lie, i read the novel after watching the movie and i can tell you with certainty that after i read the novel i understood it the same, which was perfect because after watching the movie it did not leave me with questions it gave me the conclusion i wanted and the VN did not add much to it, sure the movie does require you to put more thought in Shirou's character because they are obviously not going to add a monologue to explain how he feels, his feelings can be perfectly understood through his actions and with the way he speaks, I loved the VN but i enjoyed the Movie much more and i think that the movie did a perfect job in adapting 30 hours of full reading of the VN and turned it into 6 hours, its impressive how much they managed to fit in 3 movies and it was perfect because it did not leave me with any questions, so it all comes to preferences if you prefer the VN then good for you, if you prefer the movie then that's also ok, the VN is not ¨objectively¨ superior to the movie, they both have their charm and its not cool seeing how some people are considering the HF trilogy as an insult to the source material, i think that the movies were made with a lot of love and i'm sure that the creators had a hard time in fitting 30 hours into 3 movies. Anyways that was just something i wanted to mention, because its just something that i think that is really just unnecessary and seeing how certain people act in the Fate community is kind of annoying. Overall:(10/10) Fate/Stay Night Heavens feel III was a beautiful movie and one that will stay as my favourite for quite some time, its a movie that most people will enjoy, it had beautiful animation and a beautiful soundtrack that made it the best conclusion for the story. Hope you enjoyed my review and that's it.
