I really enjoyed this anime. Plot was interesting but decent, not bad not good. The begining was very similar to how Sword Art Online started. The Opening and the Ending songs were good, I really liked them, especially the ending song... That is very soothing. The voice actors and actresses did a good job also. It's just the animation. It was obvious that this anime was lacking in funds. It didn't make me angry that the animation was bad because I understood the reason. Because of the tight budget, the animation was bad and sometimes even worse. And it saddens me. It's truly is a
...
shame because this could've become more popular and ratings would've way higher if its animation quality was at least average since the 'isekai' genre is now very popular.
Anyways, I'm giving it a 7/10 out of generosity. I'm really hoping it gets a sequel, or at least an OVA because I really wanna know more about Shin's dead lover Marino! But knowing the history of the Studio behind it, we probably won't see a sequel 😔
Any light novel readers here? The LN has been "publishing" since 2013, making the story quite old. So, the story is either very long or it publishes every few months or so, that is if the LN is not abandoned.
Conclusion, if it's one of your first time watching an anime from the 'isekai' genre, you'll love it. If not, if you've already watched a ton of them over the years, you'll probably not like it.

This anime is honestly one of the best isekai stories when it comes to not too flashy or action-focused, calm, funny, and loads of wholesomeness I've watched in a very long time! I enjoyed every second of it. I never felt bored, not once. This anime is so funny and wholesome! The animation is pretty decent and these types of anime shows rarely get a good Opening and an Ending song, but I loved this show's OP and ED very much. Especially the Ending song, that song is so soothing, I never skipped a single end-credit scene. In the post-credit scene of the last episode,
...
they even thanked us for watching the anime, which I think is a good way to thank your audience. And they even hinted at the possibility of it getting a Season 2! which I wish it gets, I want to see how the story develops. I want to see Kaoru getting herself a hubby and Goddess Celestine with Earth's God.
It's a 7.5/10 show tbh, but I will rate it 10/10 because I'm a veteran isekai watcher and I never got bored watching this one, which is huge because when you watch something similar you get bored of it. See ya 😉👍

This is a gripping and intellectually stimulating anime that delves deep into the complexities of human nature. Adapted from Naoki Urasawa's manga, it follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a skilled neurosurgeon whose decision to save a young boy named Johan Liebert sets off a chain of chilling events.
What makes Monster outstanding is its rich character development and morally ambiguous narrative. Each character is intricately crafted, especially the enigmatic Johan, whose presence haunts every scene. The series maintains a tense atmosphere with its meticulous animation and deliberate pacing, keeping viewers hooked until the final episode.
The series excels in creating an immersive atmosphere, blending detailed animation with a
...
subdued color palette that underscores the somber tone of the narrative. The pacing is deliberate, allowing for tension to simmer and build gradually, resulting in an experience that keeps viewers engrossed throughout its runtime.
This is not merely a crime thriller; it is a profound exploration of human nature and the consequences of our choices. It raises thought-provoking questions about morality, redemption, and the thin line between justice and vengeance. As the series progresses, it weaves a complex web of intrigue, drawing viewers into a world where nothing is as it seems.
Monster is a must-watch for anyone seeking a thought-provoking thriller that explores themes of morality and redemption. With its compelling story and well-crafted suspense, Monster remains a standout in the anime genre.

4 years ago, I found this anime. I watched the trailer and the synopsis. It got me interested. Then I saw social media posts about it being depressing and saw the posts about Kayo not waiting for 15 years... It got me scared. So I decided to watch it later. Days became weeks, weeks became months, and then years passed by. Whether it's on YouTube videos, someone's suggestions, discussions, or even on my list, I've come across it pretty frequently. But never watched it because I was scared that it was depressing and would leave an emptiness in my heart after finishing it.
I'm so glad
...
I've finally watched it. Started yesterday and finished it today Friday, January 26th, 2024. This anime is beautiful. I was never bored even for a second. It had me on my edge in every episode. The early anime animation style, the opening, and the ending songs, soundtracks, dialogues, character development, Voice Actors and Actresses, scene transition... They all blended beautifully well together. And to top it all off, the story concluded in the first season and the biggest satisfaction came from the fact that we got a good ending! Airi reuniting with Satoru under the bridge was the cherry on top!
A perfect 10/10 from me! I loved this! I wish they had made an after-story OVA where they show Satoru happily married to Misato with kids or Airi and Satoru dating.

I watched Season 1 and then watched 5 minutes of the movie but I then put it in my watching-list for the next 4 years lol 😂
Ahh, finally! I can put this series to rest!! I've finally finished this series!!! Although I haven't read the manga, I did read the last chapter. And it's a very different ending than the one we got here in the movie. I don't know if the manga is better or not...nevertheless, both endings are wholesome, cute, and fill the heart. I do NOT feel empty after finishing this series. Rather, I'm joyful!
About the anime, I love everything about it.
...
The comedy is hilarious, the art style has that early animation look to it from 5-6 years ago that is nostalgic to me, soundtracks are pretty good, really loved the Opening and the Ending songs, Voice Actors did a great job in this, all of the waifus are kawaii as heck! I'm glad that it doesn't have a dub since drama anime is best watched in subs. Although, I think if it got a dub, it would get a lot more popularity. In that sense, I wish it did get a dub because I think it's one of the best!
I would've given this series an 8/10... But since this will probably be my last slice-of-life slash drama anime since I've become a lot busier in recent years I find myself watching far more anime of action isekai fantasy genres, that this anime will forever be etched into a special place in my heart. With that being said, I'm rating this series an 10/10! I wanted to watch Clannad, Violet Evergarden and masterpiece anime shows similar to them. But, that'll be a long time from now. Bey Bey! If you've read all of that, I really hope your day will be a blissful one! Thank you!

This is a standout anime that is an immersive and enjoyable viewing experience. From the very first episode, the series introduces us to an intriguing premise: a skilled exorcist, reborn in a parallel world and it takes us on an exhilarating journey filled with mystical adventures.
One of the anime's strongest aspects is its well-crafted storyline. The narrative unfolds with a perfect balance of mystery and revelation, which kept me hooked. The creative exploration of the supernatural elements adds depth to the plot, making it more than just a typical isekai adventure.
Visually, the animation of this anime is stunningly detailed, landscapes and meticulously designed characters contribute
...
to the overall aesthetic appeal.
Character development is another noteworthy aspect of the anime. The protagonist's journey from a seasoned exorcist to navigating the challenges of a new world provides ample opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Supporting characters also receive attention, each contributing uniquely to the overarching narrative.
The series successfully incorporates humor into its narrative, offering well-timed comedic moments that serve as a refreshing counterbalance to the more intense and dramatic scenes.
This series stands out with its compelling story, captivating visuals, and a diverse cast of characters, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience. 10/10 from me, I would love for it to get a second season.

"Eighty Six Part 2" stands as a shining testament to the art of storytelling within the realm of anime. Following in the footsteps of Part 1, this season takes the viewers on an emotional rollercoaster that few anime series can match.
One of the most commendable aspects of this anime is its character development. We witness the growth, struggles, and triumphs of the main characters in a way that feels remarkably genuine. The series delves deeper into the complexities of its protagonists, particularly Shin and Lena, allowing us to connect with them on a profound level. The evolution of their relationships with the 'Eighty-Six' and
...
each other is masterfully executed, providing a rich tapestry of emotions and conflicts.
Moreover, Part 2 continues to explore profound themes that resonate with our own world. Themes of discrimination, war, and the consequences of blind obedience are interwoven into the narrative with remarkable finesse. It compels viewers to reflect on societal issues, forcing us to question the ethics of the world it portrays.
The animation quality remains consistently top-notch. The mecha battles are visually stunning and intense, demonstrating the meticulous attention to detail that has become a hallmark of this series. The direction and choreography of these sequences keep viewers engaged and enthralled, making every fight feel like a pivotal moment in the story.
This anime is not only a visual and emotional spectacle but also a philosophical one. It poses questions about the nature of humanity, compassion, and the price of war. It challenges viewers to think critically about the choices made by its characters and the consequences of those choices.
In conclusion, Eighty Six is a triumph of modern anime storytelling. It's a series that manages to strike a harmonious balance between action, emotion, and profound philosophical exploration. With its superb character development, stunning animation, and thought-provoking themes, it stands as a must-watch for anime enthusiasts and those who appreciate storytelling at its finest. This season reaffirms the brilliance of the "Eighty Six" franchise and leaves us eagerly awaiting what's to come.
P.S: Guys, the story of this anime is concluded. Lena and the Eighty Six are reunited and the story is finished. We will not see a season 2 or a sequel. We should be glad that we not only got a happy ending but also a satisfying one at that too!! Name me a 'good' modern anime that has a conclusion or an ending... None. Almost all of them are still ongoing and God knows when and if their story will ever conclude.
"The 86 Eighty-Six anime series officially has only one season, divided into two parts during production. The first part premiered in April 2021, while the second aired in October 2021."

EIGHTY SIX (86) is an anime that has captured the hearts of many viewers with its powerful storytelling and stunning visuals. The series explores themes of war, racism, and oppression in a way that is both thought-provoking and emotionally impactful. The characters are well-developed and their struggles are portrayed with depth and nuance.
The animation studio, A-1 Pictures, has done an excellent job of bringing the world of EIGHTY SIX to life. The action scenes are intense and well-choreographed, while the quieter moments are beautifully rendered with attention to detail. The music and sound design also add to the immersive experience of the show.
One of the
...
standout aspects of EIGHTY SIX is its ability to tackle heavy subject matter with sensitivity and grace. The series does not shy away from the harsh realities of war and discrimination, but it also offers moments of hope and humanity. The relationships between the characters are complex and layered, adding to the emotional depth of the story.
Overall, EIGHTY-SIX Season 1 is a must-watch and I give it a 10 out of 10. It is a masterful work that will leave a lasting impression on its viewers. I highly recommend it!
