Both series involve kids delving in onmyou arts(eastern magic). Whilst Kekkaishi are more about onmyou-type barriers known as kekkai, Tokyo Ravens focus on shikigamis which are pretty much helpers to onmyoujis(casters). If you're into shonen-type anime(adventure, action) mixed with supernatural elements, make sure to check out both!

Both series are about demons and exorcists who try to vanquish them, with both series starring a lone demon who works for good. Both have spectacular graphics and fluid animation, and a story that's worth being in your list if your into the supernatural/demon genre.

If you're looking for a series about brotherhood, then both series would have to be the best recommendation as both tell a tale of the bonds 2 brothers have and the trials they go through. Whilst both series may be of different plots, what they both share is the highly-packed action and spectacular graphics.

While both series are of different plots, what they share in similarities are the character designs and settings, all thanks to the genius at making shonén/seinén manhwa Im Dal Young. Both series contain action, superpowers, gore and fanservice that even the anti-fanservice lobby can't complain about. So if you like one, I suggest trying out the other....and if you need more, then try his work on manhwa.

While both series of the supernatural have different plots and stories, one thing I found to be very similar was each others character design and atmosphere. If you liked the art and animation of Soul Eater, then you will most likely enjoy Yumekui Merry.

Both titles delve into having the main leads love interest taken from him sexually as he watches helplessly due to his own insecurities. Both series are classed as NTR(netorare) which usually gets a rise out people(and I don't mean down there). If this is your fetish, then both titles will aim to please....

Netorare: Tanabe Yuuka no Dokuhaku
add

Both titles are classed as NTR or Netorare(Cuckold) which is a sub-genre in hentai and delves into the betrayal from the main leads partner. So for those unprepared, be warned that each title will usually get a rise out of you(and not the good type from down there) as in most cases, its usually in the form of the girl having sex with someone else whilst her partner watches defenseless all due to his own insecurities. If this is your fetish then I can guarantee that both titles will aim to please. For more info on these type of hentai, visit The Netorare Club here in MAL.

Otome Youkai Zakuro
add

Both have the same atmosphere in regards to yōkai and the supernatural and are set during Japan's earlier stages of westernization. Both story talk of the co-existence between spirits and human beings, with the leads playing more of a mediator for both kinds. Whilst Zakuro has more of a romantic feel to its series, Tactics plays more into the mystery side of the supernatural with the main lead being a sleuth for "things that go bump in the night". Both are great tales of Japanese folklore and is a welcome treat for anyone tired of the usual school type series.

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari
add

If you like the 'One-Man Army' type of shows, then both Kaze no Stigma and/or Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari would definitely be worth seeing. Whilst Kaze deals with the supernatural, Isekai is heavily influenced by mecha. Each of the leading males have the power to not only move the show, but also their leading female counter-parts. If you've seen one, than I'd highly recommend watching the other!

From the same author, both manga have the elements of losing someone and how each of the main characters deal with it(except Q&A has more of a supernatural theme to it) If you've read any of Adachi's past work(Rough, Miyuki, Katsu etc), you will definitely like either of his latest manga.

Both shounen manga have pretty much same concept about weak boy who wants to become stronger and takes up martial arts Whilst HSDK has the boy learn all types of martial arts(jujitsu, karate, muay thai etc.), FC focuses mostly on karate...only difference between the 2 is that HSDK has more ecchi If your into martial arts type manga, you'll like both...

both go round the story of protagonist having to deal with a dilemma of having to deal with his strange relationship with his pet cat whilst OH leads more to the harem genre with Yuuto getting more then one admirer, KN sticks to the relationship between Shinta and Nao(both leading parts) both are fun to read, with KN stepping up the laughter meter a notch

Pretty much same plot and storyline, except Ane Comi deals with high school kids who happen to also be siblings Ane Comi is another work from Kazurou Inoue-sensei(mangaka who gave us Midori no Hibi and Ai Kora) Ane Comi and Kanojo both tread the lines of mangaka's(who happen to be the female heroine's) captivating erotica for their work and using any methods(which end up on the expense of the protagonists) possible.

Love Yume Mix

In Yume, you have average dorky guy meets dream goddess who gives him harem and trouble, whereas Omamori has average and at times dorky guy meets one unique necko-mimi who opens up a whole lot of harem goodness and trouble. So pretty much same concept. Both Omamori and Love Yume have same art style as well.
