I finished Megalo Box and it’s definitely one of the greatest sport manga ever adapted into a short anime series, the fight scenes, music, cyberpunk, art and animation, top quality.
Megalo Box seemse to be inspired by Ashita no Joe and also Hajime no Ippo, the art style is a great throwback to these older anime series. I like the resolve of Joe and how Nanbu, Gansaku was his coach and was determined to make Joe fight to the top, the series is short but sweet and is exciting, the show introduces unique characters from Sachio who is a supporting character who travels with Nanbu,
