It took me a long time to finish this piece of work, not because I was procrastinating, but rather because I didn't want to finish it; I got attached to the characters - that's one of the main points of this manga, character development plus easily likable characters, as well as a good story that develops without being too slow or rushed.
I don't know exactly how to classify the BL part, as "not explicit" would be rather ironic considering certain scenes that were clearly meant to be erotic and extremely suggestive (as well as comedic). The relationship between the protagonists is very well developed, making

From my perspective, Velius - who couldn't get involved with humans beyond what his job as a shinigami allowed - longed for someone who would make him feel loved, so he could finally end his life cycle after having experienced this feeling (the punishment for a Grim Reaper getting involved with a human is death). This feeling was found when he met Ende, a young boy who had been abandoned and whom he adopted; and from this point on, the story is formed.
