Very similar style of both animation and humour.

Both are (dreadfully animated) 3D kid's anime from the early 2000s. Both are pretty formulaic sci-fi pieces focused on technology - robots or Gundams depending on the work. They have similar levels of writing and voice acting as well.

Both anime are based upon a strange premise, and focus a lot on the issues of the male protagonists who are just trying to live their lives. The anime have very colourful designs and unique stylings as well.

If you liked Baccano! add

...then you might like Boogiepop wa Warawanai (2019) add

Both anime follow the stories of a wide cast of characters, around a number of strange or terrible occurrences around them. The occurrences are set up as their own unique stories, which can be independent from one another if not for the shared characters.

...then you might like Tenkuu Danzai Skelter+Heaven add

Both are OVAs that are considered some of the worst ever. Both are supposed to be action, have good voice acting and a romantic subplot. Both fail miserably.

Both stories are about moralistic thieves of whom the manga are named after. Both protagonists have helpers and the ability to disguise as perfect imposters. They always have the last laugh. Both are comedic but can be serious when they want to be. Both contain the romance of a thief and a police officer (or their daughter) and the lives of those around them. Each manga have a special devision of police officers to catch the protagonist, who aren't the best in the world.

...then you might like Magic Kaito add

Both are about moralistic thieves in a world of bad guys. There is the rival who is dutifully hated by the main character. Each have fantastical elements, but in DNAngel it is much more prominent. Both have absent fathers who were before them and a mother who is supportive of them. There is also romance in both. DNAngel however has it as a main feature. Magic Kaito is also much less serious, being a comedy rather than a drama like DNAngel.

If you liked Annarasumanara add

...then you might like Duty After School add

Both are created by the same author, however unlike Annarasumanara it has colour, albeit dank. They both have character development which is of excellent quality but whilst Annarasumanara makes characters better, AWA makes them worse. Both have characters of ambiguous mental health and characters that doubt what each other says. Finally, both have unexpected endings of which are bittersweet.
