This review is from a person who thought Shingetsutan Tsukihime was a decent anime and I liked Fate/Stay Night but I can say without a doubt that I loved Carnival Phantasm. These 12 episodes will most probably crack you up if you like TYPE-MOONs works. And while I may seem to exaggerate with the review I just have to say that this is how I felt when I watched this show.
Story - 10
These episodes is only made for laughing and I can say that they succeeded. What can you possible ask for more than for example: Berserker goes out to buy batteries and Saber works
...
as a maid in a café and other weird and crazy competitions for the Holy Grail. Each episode mostly consists of several skits that could be from a few seconds long to the whole episode.
Art - 10
As Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night have a few years on their back they have chosen a studio to make all the characters really cute as for the background that is really well done. The character designs fits perfectly considering what kind of show you are watching. The animation is top notch and I can't find a single fault.
Sound - 10
The voice actors for some of the characters have changed which maybe seems like a bad idea but it turned out to be better than before. They've done a terrific work to both sound cute and hectic when the situation calls for it. I must say that Kawasumi Ayako (Saber's voice actor) did the best job of the entire cast of veterans. The soundtracks for this show is also really good and are played when it is appropriate. The opening "Super Affection" that is sung by Minami Kuribayashi, Miyuki Hashimoto, Faylan, Aki Misato, yozuca* and rino is an upbeats song that fits the pace of the series and is a perfect intro for the anime. The ending song "Fellows" sung by Endou Masaaki is not that upbeat but still catchy and both are songs that a really likable.
Characters - 10
Considering that the characters from both these animes (or visual novels if some of you would like) revolves alot around killing and murder, I find it awfully funny seeing the characters in this kind of show. I find many of the characters a lot more likable than in the original. And as I wrote before the character designs are a lot cuter as well which may take part in make them more likable.
Enjoyment - 10
I haven't been laughing like this in a while and it is one of the best comedies out there and I literally laughed out several times while watching these episodes. And I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Overall - 10
To have given every aspect of this review a 10 I have enjoyed this anime in every way possible and I am sad that the show has ended. But at least I had a great time watching it and I am glad I did watch it.
I hope you liked my review and that you will watch it, and if you will watch it... Enjoy!

If the author of this anime would describe the plot of this anime it would probably take forever to read. And that is because this anime seems to put like 5000 different stories into one anime and try to get a good and connective plot. And for me and possibly for many other, to understand this anime seem like it would be a impossible feat to accomplish. This is by far the most confusing anime I have ever seen, and I don't mean that in a good way. I give the story a 2.
The art and sound is all good but there is nothing particular
...
about is. There are better and worse than other animes.
By this confusing plot you also try to put in some characters. And a lot of them. At the same time. And this is also very confusing since you can't tell what they have to do with the plot or if they will have to do something with the plot. And none of the characters gets any depth since the story bumps back and forth between like 6 different places so it is impossible to keep up. And for me who has it pretty easy to remember names, can't name a single character. Like the only thing you know is that the main character is a very goofy dude that acts like the clown of the class. And 3 other characters of the characters are pretty likable (for me). The characters gets a 4.
Despite this low score I probably will see this to the end but only if it goes up to like 25 episodes. And I hope (although I don't think it will) that this anime will make sense in the end. But this anime is far to confusing so if you're looking for some random anime, this is the one. Enjoyment gets a 5.
With a confusing plot, many characters without any depth, pretty good sound and art and a mediocre enjoyment factor, I give this anime a 5.

Steins;Gate is one of the most interesting anime I have ever seen and I am surprised myself since normally i keep myself drawn to action and such, but now to the review.
Story: 10
Okabe Rintarou, or Hououin Kyouma (As he calls himself) the mad scientist, and the founder of a lab with 3 members. Himself, the cosplaying Shiina Mayuri and the otaku and hacker Hashida Itaru, and together they make the most useless invention possible. But wouldn't it be interesting if one of the inventions made it possible to send messages into the past.
And this is where it all starts getting more and more complex
...
and kind of confusing.
Art: 10
The art in this anime is very detailed but it uses a darker style which makes it fit perfectly for this anime due to it's darker themes. The characters is also well drawn which makes them all more likable. Can't point out anything bad.
Sound: 10
The sound is really great through the anime. The Opening "Hacking Through the Gate" by Itou Kanako and the Ending "Tokitsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku" by Sakakibara Yui is both very fitting and great soundtracks. And the background music is also fitting for the moment. As for the voice acting cast I must say that they picked some of my favorites seiyuus and I think that they made a outstanding job and they totally fit their characters.
Characters: 10
The best part about this anime is without a doubt the characters. And what makes it better is that some characters is very special which makes them very likable.
Okabe Rintarou (Hououin Kyouma) is one hell of a wierd person, and if you knew him I do believe that you would like him very much or you would pretend that you didn't knew him at all since he no sense of shame whatsoever. He pretend that he is followed by an organization, he pretends to talk to someone through his cellphone, makes wierd laughs and ends conversations with "El Psy Congroo".
Hashida Itaru: The best friend of Okabe and is an otaku and a talented hacker. He is somewhat of a pervert both interested in both 2D and 3D girls.
Shiina Mayuri: Also the best friend of Okabe. She is somewhat of an airhead and is likes making costumes for cosplay. She also works at a Maid Café "MayQueen+Nyan2".
Makise Kurisu is a 18 year old girl with quite curious personality which is the reason she ends up working with the other lab members. She is very smart and has a lot of knowledge regarding science which makes her very important later in the series.
Enjoyment: 10
It has been a quite a long time since I have been this excited by an anime that almost makes me stay indoor the entire day just waiting for a new episode to be released. But I am saddened now since it has come to and end but it was exciting 24 weeks and if you read this review, watch this anime and I think you will love it.
Overall: 10
Greatest anime 2011 and who knows when it will come a new anime that beats it, but everyone watch it now and you won't be disappointed.
El Psy Congroo ;)

Oh Holy Shit!
I haven't laght this much since I watched the original anime. This special or OVA what you want to call it is not really related the story but to find God, but watch for yourself.
The only thing that was not as good as the anime was the story since it was pretty wierd but even so it was awfully funny.
The art haven't changed so it is still awesome.
I think the voice actors had a lot of fun doing this episode since it is hyperactive as hell, but the music was nothing new, even so the music and voice acting is great.
The
...
characters is not quite as they are in the anime since they are on a certain operation. But that was one thing that made this EPIC!
As for enjoyment I already said that I thought this episode was hilarious and i think that everyone should watch this and i hope that everyone find it as funny as i did.
Overall EPIC!!!

This is without a doubt one of my favorite animes, since it is really funny and sad, and i recommend everyone who have not seen it to see it no matter what anyone else says.
Story: 9
Well to start of with the story, even though the story is quite good there is not so much to write about. The general story all in all is that in a state before afterlife, the purgatory, is a school where high school student comes if there is something they not managed doing in their life and ended up there to make it up. And there in this school exists
...
a resistance group called Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront), and their goal is to fight against God since they don't think anyone would have that kind of unfair life that they did live through.
Art: 10
This is Angel Beats! most outstanding part, since it is GORGEOUS! I fell in love with it from the first episode. If you watch it you will experience a new world of animation. The characters are very well drawn, the surroundings are awesome, and the concerts were magical.
You will love it.
Sound: 10
This is also one great part in Angel Beats! since they have really great voice actors like Kamiya Hiroshi as Otonashi and Hanasawa Kana as Kanade and many more. And the soundtrack was really fitting for the right moments. Girl Dead Monsters (The rock band in the anime) was great and i can't stop listening to them now a few months after it ended since they are one of the best bands I've ever listened to.
Character: 10
The one thing that most seem to complain about in this anime is the character development and therefore doesn't give it a high score. I can agree with that it is one of their flaws but even so, the characters themselves make up for since they are unique in their own way and they are awfully funny and a character that everyone can't hate is TK, the dancer who every now and then with a random phrase in English. He alone is worth giving a 10 to.
Enjoyment: 10
The thing I liked most about this anime is the comedy since it is my kind of humor. And some episodes made me laugh clean through. And the sad parts really made you shed a tear or two.
Overall: 10
An awesome anime that i recommend to everyone that looks for something to watch.
