Steins;Gate, I watched this series on a friend's advice five years ago now, what can I say except that it's probably one of my favorite series.
Yes, the beginning may be long for some, but the series wastes no time in setting up its storyline, the characters all more interesting than the others, their stories developed so intelligently, they're so endearing. The relationship between Kurisu and Okabe is just incredible, one of my favorite romances. The series uses the theme of time travel, and it's a complex one to handle in such a way as to keep viewers hooked.
It's an anime I'd recommend to everyone,
