Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist
add

Both anime revolve around kings and involve magic. The main characters are similar as well with their powers and relationship. Magi and Makai Ouji both have references to The Lesser Key of Solomon which involve the 72 demons. The only difference is that in Makai Ouji they are referred to as demon [generals] and in Magi the 72 demons are the names for djinn. In both anime the demons/djinn serve their master.

Fairy Tail

Let me start with the main thing that caught my eye: The team looked the same. There are 2 girls, and 2 boys with one 'animal' that is still considered a partner. They both have magical abilities and within each of the episodes you see their power. Both anime characters are all very loyal to each other. They are in another world.

Zero no Tsukaima
add

Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Hidan no Aria, and Toradora are exactly the same. character wise. Louise, Shana, Aria, and Taiga are all girls with a petite figure but are set on making the male protagonist, Saito, Yuji, Kinji, and Ryuji their 'slave'. Hidan no Aria and Shakugan no Shana both involve fighting and missions. Toradora and Zero no Tsukaima both are more focused on school life and shoujo. However, I am sure, you will find that ALL of them are the same because of the protagonist, and all four anime are INCREDIBLY AMAZING.

Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu
add

Vampire Knight and Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu have two completely different story lines, and Vampire Knight isn't even an OVA. However, as soon as I saw Tsubaki, she reminded completely of Vampire Knight. Sure, Vampire Knight is all dark and vampire-bloody but the two protagonists of these anime look like twins. Seriously.

Both anime have jewels. There is the girl protagonist, Kagome and Eris who both only have th epower to sense the jewels and must collect them before the enemy gets their hands on it. Kagome, however, can fight. Both anime have a team that accompanies them on their journey.

Both animes revolve around a girl and a guy protagonist. The girl, Aria, has dubbed the guy, Kinji, her slave. This also leads to them doing missions, it is extremely similar to The Familiar of Zero. Except they have guns.
