Lets see, Spy x family , The fricking sensation of spring 2022. This show is definitely wholesome to its core and setting of the show is unique coz we don’t get spy shows that often, but its a comedic take on the genre coz most of the action doesnt make sense like of course its a comedy show, but it is certainly entertaining specially in the later half of the show. This has perfect american style comedy with perfect facial expressions without much exaggeration and Anya is fricking wholesome. I think its safe to say Anya carries this show 95 percent of the time.
[TLDR at
...
the bottom of the review]
Spy x family does a brilliant job on the child care shounen comedy genre. However, do I think its the best in its genre or is it deserving the top 10 on MAL? I don’t think so coz it pains me to see so many great shows which didn’t get much limelight over the years. Ex- Hinamatsuri, Amaama to inazuma, Barakamon, Somali and the forest spirit and many more.
First lets go thru the issues :
Spy x family was on the boom from the first 2 episodes, but tbh it didn’t pull any comedic punches at all for the first 8 ep so I was not get why people loved it so much from the start. As a manga reader I know, Spy x family takes it time to grow with the characters which I respect. Its a very wholesome show with occasional good comedic moments. But overall I don’t think it does a good job on its comedy. And since its a comedy show, 50 percent of the realism in the spy/action part is nullified. So it overwhelming reviews is curse in disguise, making a false impression on watching, making them think its “lmao” type comedy, which it is certainly not. Its a very subtle comedy, and they play it safe most of the time. However this show is very much enjoyable and I don’t think any other type of comedy would’ve suited this type of show, just that this show didn’t have a super strong start as people made it look like to be.
Good points:
Anya likes peanuts. I mean what more can you ask for.
Dynamic of every character in the show is done brilliantly (specially after Anya starts going to school). They did a very detailed adaptation and I couldn’t be more happy. Also go read the manga, there are a few extra chapters. They are very good. The underlying plot of the show has a very steady progression as well.
Stick with this show, it will get more and more wholesome as time goes. The second part and ahead of that maybe can be considered the one the best child care shounen anime, but not this part (as an anime only’s POV).
Characters:
Anya - Carries the show. Daughter of the year, no questions asked.
Twilight - Pretty good. Has his moments throughout the show. No major flaws. Perfect dad figure.
Yor - Very hot, but kinda 1 dimensional. I really want her to shine more specially in their romantic relationship.
Bond - Best doggo <3. His whole arc was very enjoyable.
Side characters - Everyone of them are very good tbh. They help the main cast to shine perfectly.
Sound - No major issues. I just didn’t like the OP song, but the visuals were great.
Art/animation - One word Great!!! Cloverworks and WIT simply nailed it.
Overall:
TLDR - Its a very good show, perfect for healing your soul. Don’t get fooled by the overwhelming ratings on MAL. Its not that great like a 10/10 masterpiece that will change your life or un-abort babies and cure cancer, but I can it is certainly among the better halves.

Paripi Koumei is an interesting anime that takes the typical formula of 'reincarnation' to a whole new level and makes it 10 times better than it's usual counterparts. In the last 4 episodes this anime has surprised me not only in terms of character development but also in personality change as well of the main protagonist, otherwise known as Kongming.
The animation and artwork is really good, but not great at some times when they have to used unnecessary 3d for rotation of the characters in this show. Otherwise everything else is great except for this aspect.
The music is really lively and does make you feel like
...
you are in Tokyo which is a very rare thing to do.
The character interactions in this show are top-notch and Kongming is really developing his relationships with other people regardless of what they look like and where they came from. We can clearly see how the characters grow through their insecurities and problems even for the “perfect” Kongming that is so wonderful to watch. His ideologies of being a strict General ordering people to kill but in his new life he learns about the modern stuff that exist in Japan and absolutely gets along with these ideals. As for the development of Eiko and Kabetaijin their growth was wonderful, and I always love it when our protagonist influence their rivals and friends to become a better person, that’s always a treat.
I am really enjoying the show for what it is and how every character can co-operate to the main MC despite the deeds he may have done in the past.
Paripi Koumei is a great anime and i recommend this show to those who want to see a change in life (but not only be Reborn like Kongming did in this show) but also change the way you view things in nature forthcoming towards the future.
"Trust me this is not another typical reborn show my friend"
“I have done a lot of bad things in my life whilst being a general
Before I am about to die I wish to reborn into a world filled of peace and not anger.
I want to be a changed man
I want to change the way I see things in life
Please God please I beg of you
Dies*”
Last Words Of Kongming, "The Great General Of Three Kingdoms"
Solid 8.25/10 show.

This has been my favorite anime for the past year or so. I can't express how much I loved it even though it was really just a spur of the moment that I decided to watch it (I'm not into mecha-style genres really).
The emotional aspect was the key-point in this. It has been an emotional rollercoaster from day one. Ever since the first season, I was hoping for Handler One to meet the Eighty-Six. On that journey that took us on two seasons, it has been incredibly well crafted to keep us connected. That is because regardless of the happy moments that occur, they are
...
always surrounded by sadness. All of that was building up for the last episode of Season Two, which is why it had such massive impact, at least from my perspective. Due to how the episodes were structured, every episode it seemed like it was the absolute end. Even if a certain episode ended on a happy note, it wasn't complete, it wasn't truly happiness, which was the main reason that kept me going, especially after Season One.
The studio took it's time to polish the episodes, there were many delays, but it was all worth it for how good the production quality has been. The quality of the animations was superb, as well as the little touches that are more difficult to spot. The story went on perfectly, eventually giving us backstory and certain information to connect the dots during some periods of time.
I was craving and hoping for certain characters to do something at certain moments, and it has all been redeemed at the end of the season. It took time, we were all waiting for it, and after so many episodes, our wishes come true.
Do I recommend this? Absolutely. My enjoyment was skyrocketing, but it highly depends on you. Even though you might not enjoy mecha, just as I am not particularly fond of it, the emotional aspect and character development more than makes up for it tenfold.
Storyline 9/10: A balanced dialogue and more visual storytelling compared to most anime, attention to detail are top-notch, a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism. So for the story, the first cour covers their everyday life on the frontline while the second cour focuses on the 86's (especially Shin's) experience and relationship with the new peaceful environment they're in, finding their purpose in life only to return back again. Moving on from the battlefield takes a LOT of time, especially when fighting till death is their daily routine. The pacing is great, just enough to understand whole point of the story. We can see the main antagonist of the story (Legion) are evolving both their strategy and military strength. The world building you will see in the anime is just the beginning and will get 20/10 better as soon as the next arc kicks in.
Art 10/10: Art is good, not to mention the great use of CGI animation, probably one of the best mechanical CGI I've seen that just felt right. Thanks I-IV for the mechanical designs you made for 86, The design is so great that it convinces me that it can be made in real life, compared to other mecha counterpart, this is the first one I think(my experience) that is supported by real life technical req. and blueprints inspired from world war 2 and cold war era. Its just that accurate.
Characters 9/10: Characters are very well-written, as much as the 86's tries to fit in, we can see their struggles on the society/environment they're in. We got new characters that vital on the next arc and beyond (further character development will come soon). What I like on 86 Eighty-six is that not one of them have a victim mentality, a character that knows their responsibility upholding their morals ever since the previous spearhead squadron's founding. Seeing our Reaper, slowly regaining his emotion and become more human than he was before he put his brother to rest was an honest heartbreaking moment. If anything a person would say its your regular shounen? then you are a lost soul.
Sound 10/10: the soundtrack are amazing, thanks to Amazarashi, Kohta Yamamoto, and Hiroyuki Sawano. especially the last two endings. The opening music is a total banger and the ending song from episode 23 (epilogue of vol. 3) LilaS sang by Honoka Takahashi. Everything was spot-on emotional and meaningful. Not one 86 Eighty-six fans can forget.
"I won't forget".
Overall 9.6/10: This has to be the best season 1 with sequel, ending of an anime that no one in the anime series ever reached before which rivals the so called 'best' from any generation, to see the weakest arc get adapted into a masterpiece? I would highly recommend this show. Again, lot of symbolism and a "Show, not Tell" visual storytelling since the first cour thanks to passionate director, staffs and author herself, Asato Asato. If not this year, then sooner or later, 86 Eighty-six will get the fame and recognition it deserves.

This is hands down the best isekai "anime" ever or should I say about to become the best. Idc what others say. I mean just look at the development of the characters and the setting in the 1st season alone. Going down on the review:
Story [9]:
1 point is for the room for improvement xD. I mean there isn't much things to say. Things have developed really well from the 1st cour and 2nd cour made it even better. Generally isekai is mainly focused on the action and protagonist surpassing his limits every now and then, but mushoku tensei 2nd cour just threw that concept out
...
of the park and sucked you in on the characters and their development which you can't help but be amazed. This is the show which managed to make a 23 minute runtime feel like 5 minutes.
Art [10]:
There isn't really much to say. Studio Bind is doing an excellent job in the adaptation. Its going way better than the manga. It has a fluid animation, excellent color contrast, and the old film grain style is so much more suitable for this setting. Episode 10 moment has become the most iconic moment in the span of max 5 min. Character wadrode is also so pleasing to watch. Each character design is unique and perfectly blends in with the traits of each characters.
Sound [10]:
Sound design is really beautiful from the opening to the ending, its perfect. Every ost seems perfectly in place. Apart from that every environmental sounds be it the sound the of the winds howling, waves crashing, metals cranking everything is spot on.
Character [9]:
This story has many flawed characters but that's the selling point of the show. We have seen so much development in the characters specially Rudeus and Eris that you can't help but become invested in them. This whole 2nd cour is all around character development rather than action or adventure and they did it so perfectly that it never felt boring. Most character centric shows become boring on certain points, but that's certainly not the case with this show.
Overall conclusion is that this show has graced its presence in the cesspool of trashy isekai shows and made it clear what an isekai is really capable of providing to its audience. There are only handful of isekai shows which are great/masterpiece level in my eyes and Mushoku tensei has certainly marked its presence in it

Imma be honest I don't watch much horror anime. So maybe this is my fourth or fifth horror anime. However I was rather surprised on how the show was developing. This show is a perfect balance between serious and funny moments. With each episode you will get both heartwarming moments and heart racing ones. I can guarantee you this will be a fun experience.
Story (7.5):
The story is rather simple with a nice twist. Its of a girl who starts seeing spirits so she starts ignoring them which is hilarious. The plot seems simple because it is and it does not try to complicate itself, which
...
I genuinely respect. The main experience is her day to day activity. Its a perfect slice of life with a horror touch.
The first couple of episodes have unnecessary fan service but it is subdued in later episodes and now I look back that was a brilliant move to capture a lot of audience to be honest.
Art (8):
I have to say, the ghosts look damn scary ngl. I really love their design. And our girls look absolutely adorable. Some supernatural scenes are very well animated. So its above average level of art and animation.
Sound (7.5):
Sound design is pretty good. Soundtracks in the intense moments and all the bgms are very well. Not a big fan of the OP and ED, but its still pretty decent.
Character (8):
This show deals with a variety of characters, not just the main cast. Our main cast encounter with a lot of side characters and each individual back story is very well fleshed out. The development of Miko is pretty awesome along with the adorable side case Hana and Yuria. And btw Miko is precious, just saying.
Enjoyment (8):
So I enjoyed this show pretty much. Its not great though but deserves to be with high ups in terms of how slice of life genres go, coz its as much enjoyable as Komi-san which released along side this fall.
So I whole heartedly recommend you guys to check out Mieruko chan if you are slice of life/mystery/horror fan or just looking for some popcorn fun.

First things first go watch this anime, its not a request, its an ORDER.
This is the epitome of writing and storytelling - atleast amongst the ones I've seen.
Odd taxi introduces and explains so many characters - each with a beautiful theme - and binds them in a meaningful way while explaining the precise mental state of everybody through glorious storytelling.
Plot : 10/10
Even the smallest detail can act as a spoiler, so I can't do anything other than giving you a score which would demonstrate my love for the plot.
The plot was simple yet complicated. Every point depicted relatable, common emotions represented in a thoughtful and
...
deep manner - which makes you absolutely immerse in the vibe while reaching a state of equilibrium.
It then integrates everything naturally and effortlessly leading to a closure and understanding of human feelings - and ofcourse there's none of the "Rest in season 2" bs.
Characters 10/10
Each character was unique, very well explained and essential. Each character had had their spotlight and each character peaked my interest. All of them brought out vibrant and natural emotions which as I said earlier - are relatable and deep.
Enjoyment 10/10
I was hooked from the very first episode. The storytelling is insane. That's all. Experience yourself.
Sound 10/10
Tbh the selling point for me in my first impression was the OP.
hot damn that op is some bop. I loved the way that some scenes were absolutely quite - just to feel the anime. I love the mild tension with the beats on certain parts and I love the textures. Every theme matches the wavelength of your mindset while watching the scene. Amazing.
Art 8/10
Well, the animation was simple and enough.
Overall 10/10
This is genuinely the best storytelling I've experienced, the themes depicted are amazing. The sounds are amazing and the op is outstanding. I haven't really written reviews this positive - but that's what my mental state commands me to do right now.
Anyways, please try not to have any expectations - they always come in the way of achieving the full potential of the anime.

Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song is a GREAT original anime. From CHARACTERS to STORY to BEAUTIFUL MUSIC to ANIMATION, each of those made the delivery of this anime GREAT. Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song is an anime that uses the A.I. vs Humanity trope but manages to reinvigorate it further. How so? It’s not one-sided wherein A.I. are bad and humans are not and vice versa, but rather it takes an independent stance between the two sides. On the side, it uses the topic of music as an identity tool on how A.I. can closely resent humans. This anime involves twists that makes the story thrilling, along
...
with amazing animation that makes it beautiful to watch and makes the action-packed scenes really detailed, and with futuristic sounds and music that makes such scenarios emotional and awesome. To sum it up, Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song is a greatly made original anime that would have everything you want if you’re looking for an action-packed, thrilling, and unique A.I. vs Humanity anime.
Story – 8/10
Characters – 9/10
Art and Animation – 10/10
Sound – 10/10 including op and ed songs
Enjoyment – 9/10
Story Review:
Often in any entertainment that uses an A.I vs. Humanity trope, things become one-sided where this side is good, and the other is bad, which has become quite an overused type of story. What makes Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song unique and different to other A.I. vs Humanity stuff is that it’s not one-sided, and it’s often on an independent stance or to put it simply, neutral between A.I. vs Humanity.
It uses time travel as the starting point of the story, aiming to rewrite 100 years of history, dubbed ‘The Singularity Project’, in order to end the conflict between A.I. and Humans in an action-packed and thrilling way. It tackles every incident in history that contributed to the conflict between A.I. and Humans, aiming to alter what happens for the good of all, but discovers that it’s not what it is and creates a twist that will leave you thrilled, surprised, and hooked up to its story. It’s direct to the point or to its objective, hence it’s not a story that is fully fleshed out. You can say that it’s lacking because it doesn’t fully explore all the time of 100 years, but it’s able to make up for it by going in-depth to each important incident, therefore managing to compress 100 years into 13 episodes which is quite impressive honestly.
The story also tries to incorporate the topic of how A.I. can closely resent humans and takes a unique approach it. This focus within the story is aimed on the character development of Vivy throughout. The anime tries to validate how artificial intelligence and humans are similar by using music. In this case, music is used as an identity tool and not just an add-on that makes the anime really deliver. We don’t often get to see how artificial intelligence and humans can be so similar apart from rationality and logical reasoning which is why this anime takes a unique approach to this topic. This incorporation to the story contributed to making Vivy more interesting and adds quite a thrill and twist on how Vivy and Matsumoto play out in their objective.
There’s really not much drawback or downside to this anime as I see. I think it would only come down to whether you’re into this kind of anime or not.
Characters Review:
Vivy is an A.I. built to just sing for everyone, aiming to make them happy with her voice. On the other hand, Matsumoto is an advanced A.I. that came from the future that you can say is quite overpowered against all artificial intelligence in the past. To create a good character development to an artificial intelligence character would require one to be really close to resenting humans and the writers of the story nailed it. Vivy, despite being an A.I., manages to think like a human apart from acting like one. Most artificial intelligence just base everything by calculations, just like Matsumoto in the early episodes, but Vivy manages to think, and act based on calculations, empathy, sympathy, emotions, and such of how humans do, and Matsumoto also takes that route in later stages.
At first, Matsumoto can be irritating (not for me) because of how he just base everything on calculations and is just direct, not giving much empathy and human thought to such situations. Throughout, he just becomes Vivy’s partner for The Singularity Project and passively learns from Vivy, therefore also resenting a human. Although, he remains to still think directly.
Both are really good characters and they fit the action and thriller genre. They don’t cause any downsides in that aspect, and they contributed so much to reinvigorating the trope the anime used. You would just be thrilled on how they play out in altering the incidents, how they deal with problems, how they make decisions, and how they fight (as it’s an action-packed anime).
The rest of the characters also fitted the anime. They make the story very interesting and contribute a lot to how thrilling the twists were, and how they make scenarios become awesome and emotional to watch.
Art and Animation Review:
Wit Studio is back again with such beautiful and really detailed animation. The art was very beautiful to see. The character designs were great as they were futuristic and detailed. Some were kept simple, but they were still great to look at. The animation is amazing. Wit Studio definitely made it action-packed and thrilling to watch. The fight scenes were awesome, and it would definitely keep you hooked up. The effort of animation poured out into this original anime should be recognized and applauded by everyone. Well done Wit Studio!
Sounds Review:
This has to be the best part of the anime. Everything in this department was surreal in making the anime great. From futuristic sounds that are so good and realistic to hear, to sound effects of fight scenes that made it really action-packed, to music that is such a banger and eargasm to hear, and to amazing seiyuus that made the characters really sound amazing that would keep you hooked up to them, the amount effort in sounds contributed so much in making Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song really deliver as an action, sci-fi, music, and thriller anime.
My Thoughts:
I really didn’t expect Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song to be this great. This anime took a unique approach into its theme and concept. I wouldn’t say that this would be an underrated anime, but rather an under watched one. I think this anime is in the conversation of which original anime is the best ever made. In my opinion, this anime is a solid 9/10 or 9.5 for me. Would I recommend this anime to anyone? YES! Especially if they’re into action and thriller ones. I hope for more original anime in the future to deliver just like how Vivy’s Fluorite Eyes Song did.

There is a lot to say on Black Clover. A whole lot. While I got into the series late, but it was still a blast from start to end. Let me explain.
Story and characters:
Black Clover's main story focuses on four different kingdoms, Clover, Spade, Heart, and Diamond. As we mainly follow the Clover country then any other. Where many years ago, a battle between a demon, and a Wizard king happened which help shaped the foundations for it's story. As Black Clover follows magic mainly, all kinds of magic. From Dark magic, light magic, Wind magic, Steel magic, fire magic, water magic. All kinds of
...
magic. If you're a magic nut, or have an interest in magic in general, you may dig this a whole lot, it was one of the hooks that got me into this show. Seeing all different forms of magic.
The story follows two young boys to start off with, living in an orphanage, a wild and adventures boy in Asta, who may seem unbearable at the start, but he's got good motives, and a good heart. Along with the more stoic Yuno. As both dream of one day becoming the wizard king. When a person becomes of certain age, they're given their grimoire, which decides what kind of magic they get, and if they're good enough, they have a chance of joining magic knights. Knights who protect the Clover Kingdom. As we follow that, and face the challenges along the way.
The story goes from there, and we've thrown right into the action. Showing how dangerous it is to be a magical knight, and it's really well done. There is no rest at the start, as it's interesting and engaging plot unravels before you during all of this. Really well done here.
As for more of the characters? There is a real mix of blend of characters that all bounce off of each other, that really carry the show honestly. That's another hook of Black Clover, it's characters. I could list them all in this review, but there are so many to chose from. Black Clover has many characters to love from their backgrounds, personalities, their values, along with the magic that they process in general. Can't go wrong there, and basically what I am saying, is that there is a character for everyone. With the growth within those characters, and other characters being well done in my book.
Music and Art
The music is always great, far as I'm concerned, lot of great OPS and EDs, like you can't go wrong there, but also the tone and the style of music within the show is just great too. From the battles, to comedic moments, or to something more serious. It's all really well done. While for the art, it depends your tastes. I personally had no issues or problems with it throughout. But so many have had issues with it declining in airs, which can be a little turn off, but it isn't overbearing to the point you'd turn your eyes away. It's style is still great in many ways, from how it looks in scenes, to how bright and dark the grmoires can look. Along with how the characters look in general. I personality liked it, and I'm sure many will too.
Black Clover means a lot to me honestly, it's something I binged after being curious about it, and I was hooked on it within moments. If you were waiting to start this, honestly do so. You'll love it. It's not perfect by any means, but it's still a really great show. It's a show that I highly recommend to so many of you. It'll be a show that I'll remember for years and year, and I cannot wiat for more of it honestly.

Mushoku Tensei is a highly controversial anime. Either you love it, or you hate it. But why? Well, it's complicated.
This series is a masterpiece. Everything about it is amazing. The reason I'm giving this a 9 is because It's barely getting started, but it's still remarkable. You can feel that the studio behind this anime, studio Bind, LOVES this series. The reason for this studio's creation WAS to make Mushoku Tensei. You can feel the passion behind this project. The soundtrack is inmersive, the characters are VERY realistic (I'll get to that later), the art blew me away... So why? Where did it all go
...
wrong? Why do so many people despise it? Remember I said that the characters are very realistic? Well there you have it.
Mushoku Tensei's characters are incredibly realistic. I swear I've seen people just like Paul, the MC Rudeus' father. All of the characters are full of flaws, just like actual people. (minor spoiler incoming) Actually, in one of the episodes, Paul cheats on Zenith, Rudeus' mother, and the whole episode is just the family trying to resolve the issue and figure out what to do. But everyone makes mistakes, but we need to move on and learn from them. (minor spoiler over)Now as to why the show is so controversial. Rudeus was a shut-in in his previous life. He suffered bullying, got traumatized, and he couldn't go outside because he was too scared. He stayed inside watching hentai, playing dating sims, etc... He didn't even attend her mom's funeral. He was scum. The lowest of the lowest. But then he got another chance at life, which is great, yeah? No, because that doesn't suddenly mean the trauma, and his awful self just fade away. He's still himself. He's not a perfect, charismatic, generic isekai MC. He's still a piece of garbage. And that's what this show is about. About a piece of trash rising and becoming a piece of *not* trash. A good human being even.
Mushoku Tensei's novels narrates Rudeus' life from beginning to end, and these 11 episodes where just the beginning, so he's still scum. But that's the point. During this whole first season Rudeus is a pervert. He almost even has sex with a 12 year old girl, when she isn't even that keen on doing it. He's still trash. But as he grows in this new life, he will become a better person.
I'm not saying that those scenes were not awful. They were very uncomfortable to watch, but they are necessary. What this show tries to say is that it's never too late to change. Rudeus lived his previous life in the worst way possible and became garbage, but in this new life he will change. As the name plainly says: "I will seriously try if I go to another world", in other words, he will try to live his life to the fullest, and become a good human being. Become what he couldn't become in his previous life. Become someone people admire.
Review over. Extra stuff:
One very funny detail I noticed while scrolling through these low score reviews is that they all share something in common, that being they also disllike Re:Zero. So? What is Re:Zero about? The same thing, just a bit different. Like Rudeus, Re:Zero's MC has given up on life. So when he gets transported to another world, it seems as if all of the problems from his previous world are just gone. But that's far from the truth, as his horrible personality makes him fail once again on the new world, and he gives up. But in the last episodes of season 1, he starts to change. Thanks to a certain someone, he realizes how horrible he is and decides to change. He decides not to run away from the problems anymore and confront them head on. But when people critize this anime, they say the MC is annoying, and stupid. BUT THAT'S EXACTLY THE POINT. In episode 13, he makes a fool of himself, instead of listening to his friends, he decides to not listen to them and just do what HE thinks is good for them, which is obviously a horrible mindset. But he realizes he's in the wrong some episodes later, and starts to change. And by the end of season 2, he's a man anyone can admire. Without sadness, there is no happiness. You need to make the characters flawed, so that when they change for the better, it makes it worth it and satisfying. But there's always a struggle, and that's what makes all of these types of anime interesting. But some people just don't seem to get it.

Honestly speaking, I am really loving the anime so far and I really hope they nail the adaptation. I heard a lot of nice things about the manga though I haven't read it yet so fingers crossed on this anime. I agree this not a unique story but it never fails to amuse me.
Firstly the art is no doubt exquisite. Although I'm not an artist myself but I've been always fascinated by it and I have the understanding of the struggles being an artist. So seeing the fundamentals of art, art style, and passion provided brilliantly by the show makes me a happy man. So
...
its highly unlikely that the show will sway away from its main focus.
The animation and sound design is pretty good I would say. Nice osts and art style so I guess no one should have any problem with that section.
The characters are really lovable and the mc is one of the better shounen protagonists(in relatable sense) out there. His way of interacting with every other side characters are really heartwarming and relatable. The senpai kouhai relationship and how they motivated each other was great, how his mother reacted on seeing those drawings and many more such moments were beautifully depicted and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful depiction of a struggling high school student.
The thought process of Yaguchi hits so close to home that he became my one of my most likeable and relatable mc in all the anime I've seen in recent times. Everyone goes through the thought that which line one should choose to be successful, should one go for money or passion etc. Though this ideology has been revolving around for many years, it still doesn't fail to motivate an individual. His daily struggle to become a better version of its past and learning from his surroundings and competing with his peers in a subtle manner makes up a perfect protagonist.
So I would like to conclude my review of my first impressions for this series and I would urge everyone who is reading my review to give this show a shot and hype up this anime up to the level its manga has reached.
And finally love for all transgenders <3. Ayukawa Ryuuji is still a kawaii and intimidating character and I look forward to see more of her. Kudos to Yamaguchi Tsubasa for having such a big heart and spreading love to all genders out there.
