If you are like me, the main Fairy tail story ending probably left a void in your heart. Personally, Fairy tail was how I discovered this entire world of anime and manga so it was obviously very dear to my heart and nothing can replace the very first anime you watched. So you can imagine how happy I was when I found out there is a whole sequel spin-off series for it!!
Honestly, the story is as good as the main series. Sometimes, I feel like it could even be called better. Yeah, they have nonsensical elements here and there but honestly that is what Fairy

This show is brilliant!!!
WIT did not come to play with this!!! Personally, as a sucker for good animation, this show practically stole my heart, it started with a watercolor-eaque animation and graduated to a more oil paint like look towards the end and damn it was just gorgeous throughout. Story wise, it was fantastic. All the twists it pulled on my clearly bamboozled me each and every time. The first one was without doubt was my favourite cause I thought of 3 ways it could play out and well, let's just say the ending was so unpredictable and am here for it!!! Just binged through 4 episodes and to keep it short I am mostly just disappointed.
Credit where credit is due the animation is stunning and the fight scenes are great however, that's all there is to it. Plot is way too generic and the story is way too rushed for the viewers to get invested in anyway. I don't know how good the source material I.e webtoon is and so maybe I would give it a try but honestly, for how much hype this show generated, it flopped pretty badly for me.
