Quite a relaxed viewer here. You know, sometimes, an anime matches its chemistry with you. It doesn't have to be a deep anime. It doesn't have to be perfect in anything. You just like it, no matter what others think of it.
This was the case for me with this Kinsou no Vermeil. An ecchi fanservice female MC enters the story in a non-complex way. You witness some less than perfect romance, Events may not be the most interesting.
But I felt a warmness while watching it. The romance was warm, even with the relatively stupid male MC. Events were never too negative. You could think that

everything was going to be alright, unlike the real life or an interesting anime with the incoming events being unknown. It became an anime that I was excited for the next episode every week. It made me forget hardships of my life and left joy behind after episodes.
I skipped OP and ED all the time. They were not attracting me. I guess it would be nice to have some nice music from them, but not every anime can be perfect. I didn't have hard feelings.
If you like mild ecchi, this was milder than SaeKano. To be honest, I think this could even have some more "depth" in that, because the story was suitable(just saying because it was already ecchi). But the way they made this was acceptable to me. They left it to the viewer's imagination.
It has at least 1 waifu in it. Added to my harem 🤗
I gave 10, despite this not being perfect. Because I liked this. If I can watch it without any feeling of boredom, that's what I call a 10. OP/ED not interesting to me? I didn't feel bad even the slightest about it. I was busy with how my heart was warm after watching the episode.
So, if you also like a relaxed anime with warm romance and positivity after every bad event, this might be something for you.
If I don't be lazy about it, I want to add a few recommendations to the list. You may compare with them to have an idea.

Firstly, this anime may not be flawless. So you if you cannot overlook flaws, I guess you wouldn't enjoy it.
This is a simple anime to relax. It's one of those positive shows where negativity is only there for contrast reasons. No drama at all.
Romance and harem starts early. Slice of life is especially cute in the early episodes while later episodes occur in so many different places that it's more like an adventure.
The romance is not one of those fast ones but it's progressing good enough. The harem reaches to a very nice point. As someone who wanted to see a serious polygamy show, I

could find something in this.
Overall, if you can like a cute, relaxing show with romance and harem, I guess you could like this. But I would suggest you to keep your expectations low, or even not to expect anything. Just watch the show as it is.

This anime is a romance that goes the other way of the majority: downwards. And it does it very dramatically. I mean it's extremely dark. Yes, the beginning was more like a usual, positive romance. But even there, there are signs of the incoming storm.
Then the romance goes downwards like a truck that lost its brakes. While watching, you feel how your heart is being shredded to pieces. You see how bad someone can get just by not caring about others even the slightest. In the end, the situation the first girl and second girl get into, stabs your heart a few times more than

the previous episodes do to you.
You will not be relaxed while watching this anime. An animal, including a human, gets hard after dying. While watching this, you will not feel alive and you will feel that hardness on all of your muscles.
I gave the story 6 because it was a very well-written bad story. I could give more but I want to warn the future viewers about the negativity they will see. Everything considered it is really a good "bad anime".
I heard it would be dark. And it really was. Even Madoka is like sunlight and cuteness and joy when compared to this, and I call Madoka a very dark anime.
BTW, it says "mild nudity" and that's right. But it's actually mild. There are some nudity and sex, but it's not even like ecchi. It's only for storytelling purposes and isn't emphasized. I saw ecchi animes with more nudity and sexuality even though they didn't even have the "mild nudity" tag.
If you want to see such an anime, it's a masterpiece. Don't let the ranks deceive you. Quality-wise it's very good. But I guess the negativity in the story is overwhelming for people, and they would be right.

I'm someone that takes ranks as a reference while choosing what to watch. To me, anything in top 1000 have a really high chance and above top 1000, it depends on the show.
At the time of me writing this, the show is ranked around 3600. If you ask me, that's sad. If you're a careful viewer, you may notice problems with the show. But I'm a relaxed viewer, meaning I can also see flaws of a show but I can overlook them if I can still enjoy the show. I sometimes don't even notice the flaws.
So this show is something I had no problems with.

It's relaxed to me. It doesn't look like a show you want to expect too much. If you can enjoy, you enjoy. So I didn't ask too many questions as I watched this. I just wanted to watch it.
So if you're like me and you don't look for masterpieces everywhere and you can give high points to a show you really enjoyed, I think you'll like this one.
Visuals and sounds were good. I also really liked the music. I found myself looking at how beautiful some characters were.
I don't know if characters were good. The thing I know is that they were visually normal. I didn't notice anything more.
Story was more than a SoL. It also had some drama and some interesting details. This is also one of my weak points. I cannot tell you the story was good or bad. So if you're like me, the story will probably be acceptable for you.

I previously gave this a 9/10. Because I enjoyed it quite a lot. Everything was at least average while I liked some things more. BUT a point I'm telling below changed my score and brought my ideas of this series to a whole another level.
I'm not an anime reviewer so from my perspective:
-The romance was above average(relatively satisfying)
-Story was cute
-Drawings were normal
-Sounds were normal
-Characters were normal
meaning if you're an average SoL/Drama/Romance viewer, you'll probably like this.
...
BUT I'M TELLING YOU:
This series is not actually 13 episodes. It is made in such a way that you think the story is complete in itself and may think the story was too normal with a complex element to make it interesting.
Because of this, the movie that is the sequel to this series is CRUCIAL. After watching the movie, I had to come back and change my score and write a review because my ideas about the series changed with how the story continued and I had to warn others.
PLEASE, DON'T FORGET TO WATCH THE SEQUEL if you liked the series. You'll regret if you watch it too late.
I won't give a score to that but if I would, I would give the advertisement department a 4/10 for not completing the story in the series. I'm not against the ecchi clickbait for this production because of how this anime deserves love, but they left the story completion to the movie so many people probably missed the end of the story. Such a poor design choice.
