Wasted potential - it gets worse as you watch
Let's start from good things though. The art is definitely better than in first season. The OP and ED are pretty nice. Old characters are still likeable, although they do feel like a background with so many new ones coming in. First season was very good and second one at first gave out an impression to be better, as the MC and his clique were supposed to go to the school, start teaching, meet his old classmates and what we got is a joke. And speaking of jokes, those got way worse than before (they were bearable

or at least a bit funny) and now we have pushed reactions, we see some "funny" scenes, which give out a feeling that while making them the creators thought "hmm, it's not funny enough, let's make characters hit their head or spin around in a weird way and land on their desk in a strange position". The forced humor isn't the only thing that ruins the season. The action is way too rushed and there's a lot of mentions of "broadcast", or "tv series" in general (or at least in one particular episode), which was probably supposed to be the part of a "humor" similar to Gintama. The problem is, what's in other show, should stay in the other show, and mentioning those things within the plot creates the feeling that the makers didn't have an idea what to do with the plot, so they went with the "joke".
I'll go into the details below.
*possible spoiler alert ahead*
Weird humor appears already in the first episode, it gives an unsettling feeling, but makes you think that you can go ahead with watching if those are occasional. THEY AREN'T. In each episode there's at least two scenes, when the fake humor is stuck in and ruining everything that has been building up. In either 4th or 6th episode (not sure which one) there's an obligatory public bath scene which felt like it was made specifically to show up the MC's "attributes". And it would be pretty okay if the whole thing didn't end up with an unfunny joke. We all sometimes do love a good potty joke, but making the MC sit on the toilet throughout whole 5th episode makes no sense at all (half would be enough to maintain the comedy and make the MC late for events, or at least it should not have been exaggerated). Also, woudn't you just love to suddenly be able to use pretty decent magic after your teacher flicked a finger and cast a chainbreaking spell with a super long and weird name? Cause that's what happened to the four student's of MC. We get that the MC is powerful, but if anyone would be able to do it with just one spell, not even seeing into what's binding them, then how anyone else didn't help them with that and why give them the horror of attending a magical school without having the ability to cast? Also, why we got only four students in a class, while others have it full? The students themselves are pretty stereotypical and then after a few seconds of scepticism, they jump into the MC's arms as everyone else. New characters in general feel a bit fake, the female teacher is the best one of them though. Probably many of us were anxious to watch as the MC becomes a teacher in a school, where his old classmates attend, maybe have some confrontation, them being shocked after seeing his change and also becoming a teacher, but what we've got instead were two of his former female classmates, one obviously in love with him and one sniffing around the whole school to look for him. The 7th episode is the cherry on top. MC "dies" together with one of the girls and weird voice welcomes them to the afterlife, generously offering them a way out back to the living if they find a gate, because "the series can't run without the main character, so please find a way to come back to life", then it proceeds with weird questions, giving imperssion there will be a few, but after first one is answered and the characters reach the second one, the voice is like "yeah, that's the last one". So the question here is: why make the wound fatal (and to two people in an instant), if you don't have an idea of a good plot associated with the resurrection?
