First of all, I have to admit that I was very upset about reading 'Mix', because I would have expected a sequel with the children of Minami and Tatsuya, but now I'm glad I did.
After 'Touch' I read other works of Adachi-sensei but nobody was as 'Touch'.
By reading 'Mix' i realized that this story it's a sort of 'modern version' of 'Touch'.
I noticed that:
- Toma Tachibana = Tatsuya Uesugi
- Otomi Tachibana = Minami Asakura
...
- Soichiro Tachibana = Kazuya Uesugi
I like the fact that the two brothers form a strong battery of brothers and that they make every effort to go to Koshien and make their younger sister happy who supports them so much.
Soichiro is a great Toma x Otomi shipper and this is so cute.
In this story there also appear some historical characters of 'Touch', which begin to play an increasingly active role in history, increasingly the interactions with our heroes.
Although some of them say a little too many lies and they seem to prefer to hide their true identity.
Let's say that I am very worried now, because in the story there are too many references to the Kazuya's incident and I am really anxious for Soichiro.
Probably Otomi's accident was a sort of 'troll' and the Tachibana brothers aren't again out danger.
It's as if in this present and past history they became confused almost overlapping, sometimes I really have the impression of re-reading 'Touch' in some way.
We must remember that Mitsuru Adachi is the master of romantic comedies and that 'Touch' is a masterpiece and more than 'a boy who meets a girl'.
The graphic style is always the unmistakable one of Mitsuru Adachi, although the evolution from his first works is really evident.
This work, like all the other works of this brilliant artist, conveys calm, tranquility and love for sport.
I only hope that this story can lead to a happy conclusion for all, putting an end to what has been suspended in the past.

The 'Captain Tsubasa rising sun' could be the final chapter of the big saga of 'Captain Tsubasa' who started in 1981.
But this is only a theory, in fact, recently, Takahashi-sensei declared that he's so proud of 'Captain Tsubasa', because it's a never-ending saga and, only a little number of manga-series, are in this list in Japan.
This means that after the 'Captain Tsubasa rising sun' he could write something more, maybe the 'World Cup arc' so desired by fans.
Ten years passed from the beginning of the series and our beloved heroes, that now are all young adults, are fighting all together in the Japan National team
...
to conquer the gold medal at the Olympics.
I don't know how to say, it's as if after the 'Captain Tsubasa World Youth', every big chapter of 'Captain Tsubasa' ('Road to 2002', 'Golden 23' and 'En la LIga') have been written to arrive at this point.
In fact the eternal rivals reappear at this Olympic tournament which, 'Tsubasa & Co.', have already faced in the international arc of the first 'Captain Tsubasa' and in the 'Captain Tsubasa World Youth' and of the new ones, which however have already appeared in the others previous large chapters of 'Captain Tsubasa' face the horizon.
It seems the time has come for Tsubasa to face Michael and settle accounts with Rivaul.
Moreover it seems that Takahashi-sensei is preparing the future for other historical characters of 'Captain Tsubasa', giving life to a bigger plan that little by little, match after match, is taking shape.
To understand this it's better to do a recap of the story of our beloved 'sky wing' aka Tsubasa Ozora (Takahashi gave this name to his hero to say 'Go Tsubasa, open your wings and reach your dream!'):
- 'Captain Tsubasa': after the middle school Tsubasa went to Brazil and left Sanae/Anego in Japan
- 'Captain Tsubasa World Youth': at the end Tsubasa married and went to Europe
- 'Captain Tsubasa rising sun': at the end of this arc Tsubasa could become the proud father of two males twins. He has already the names with Sanae, I wonder if they will be the same as the 'Captain Tsubasa Millenium Dream'. There's only a little problem Sanae has the term, just for the day when the final of the Olympic soccer tournament should be played ... I think we'd better get ready for strong emotions ...
Recently Hiroki Goto defined 'Captain Tsubasa' as 'a refreshing soccer manga, where the ball is the best friend of the man' and I'm 100% agree with him.
Yoichi Takahashi has a graphic style, which, despite having evolved over time, has remained somewhat unchanged while maintaining its uniqueness.
Probably it's because it respects the personality of a modest and kind person with a great passion for sport that has created this work to make people love football, succeeding in a truly extraordinary way.
'Captain Tsubasa' remains however a manga-series with 'that something more' and 'that something magic'.

'Mix-Meisei story' should be the semi-sequel of 'Touch' aka Mitsuru's Adachi masterpiece, but I think that there is something more.
Thirty years later the Uesugi twins another pair of brothers, who were born the same day but have no blood ties, appears at the Meisei institute with the dream of winning the Koshien.
I noticed that:
- Toma Tachibana = Tatsuya Uesugi
- Otomi tachibana = Minami Asakura
- Soichiro Tachibana = Kazuya Uesugi
...
Minami grew up with the Uesugi twins as two brothers and a sister, like this new trio.
The dynamics seem to be almost identical to those of 'Touch' and, as the title 'Mix' says, present and past mingle overlapping and confusing, so much, that sometimes it seems to me to be in 'Touch'.
Although it's interesting to note, that, unfortunately, the Uesugi twins have never had the chance to play together, the Tachibana brothers are a great battery.
I would have loved so much to see them play together, but Tatsuya had decided to let his beloved twin shine.
In fact Toma is a strong pitcher, because Soichiro is a great receiver and ,together, despite being so different, they support and compensate each other.
Their first fan is Otomi-chan and they would do anything to see her happy.
Maybe it may seem strange, but it's like a bit if 'Touch' has been set in our days, I mean the kids will have i-phones, but they go around on bicycles and spend time outdoors.
The graphic style is very similar to that of 'Touch', although in a more modern way and I must admit that I really like it, because this makes this anime a little bit different from modern anime.
By ear I think that the music should be more or less the same of 'Touch', although I only listen to those in Italian a lifetime ago.
I like the fact that, Otomi, the heroine, is able to recreate them with her transverse flute, making the atmosphere a little soft and magical.
Otomi-chan is really 'special' like Minami-chan.
At this point I can only hope that nothing bad happens to So-chan and that, To-chan and Otomi-chan, don't make the same mistakes as their predecessors.
I hope that this story can bring a 'happy end' to everyone, arranging what has left pending in the past.
Of one thing I am sure, these three need to remain close in order to realize their dream.
Ikke Tachibana, all three! Go and win the Koshien!

This series was created on the occasion of the soccer world championships that took place in Korea and Gaippone in 2002.
As you will have understood by now, this story inevitably binds and intersects with the real life of Japan, but not only.
In fact this series is full of references to real soccer players and real football teams.
It can be divided into two parts of 26 episodes each:
- 'Elementary arc' + 'middle school arc'( personally I think they cut a little too much of the story) + 'shin captain tsubasa arc' (quite good)
- first part of 'CTWY' (Tsubasa in Brazil) and the first part of 'CTRT2002'
...
(Tsubasa in Europe): it is as if they had taken these two parts of the manga e. for some strange reason and mixed them together
The perspective is completely new, in fact the story begins with Tsubasa who is playing his last game in Brazil and remembers his football career, from the beginning.
This match continues to be present in the first part of the story, as the episodes continue.
In the second part you can admire a completely new match, Japan vs Holland, with all our beloved heroes lined up on the field.
There's only one special manga, based on this game, and, a movie, which is only found in Japanese with subtitles.
At the end of the 52nd episode it's already possible to see which challenge will await 'Tsubasa & Co.' at the end of their journey, which just seems to never end in the manga ...
The new graphics are very appealing and music is exciting.
We must admit that 'CT' we can also admire the evolution of Japanese animation and find the reflection and magic of past times.
What can I say ... I wanted them to continue where it ended ...
Nothing to say 'CT' is always the same, even if the years pass!

Welcome to the 90s with this series of 'CT'!
Looking at this series, you'll find yourself a little in those and you'll find, part of the manga story that is written in those years.
The first 33 episodes are a remake of the 'elementary arc' of '80 with some original anime content.
In this series you can find also Taro Misaki's story, exactly like in the series of '80, in a completely new guise .
In the second part you will find the first part of 'Captain Tsubasa World Youth', the part written by Yoichi Takahashi in '90, with the arrival of new characters, which will be fundamental
...
to the story.
The only problem is that, this series, stops abruptly just when the game starts to get really interesting and leaving many fans with a bitter taste.
You will wonder why!?
Because the Japanese national football team, at that time, failed to qualify for the '94 World Cup in U.S.A .
In fact, 'CT', is the only anime/manga whose destiny seems to be boundlessly linked to the fate of the Japanese national football team.
The graphics are really better than the 80s version, like the music too.
Aniway 'Tsubasa & Co.' are always the same!
As a teen I loved it!

I love this manga that is written in perfect Osamu Tezuka's style.
The evolution of the protagonist, 'atom' aka 'six' is really very very interesting.
I like the art style, the story and the fact that, in the volumes, you can find amazing color pages.
Until now this manga has been translated in Chinese, French, Italian and Spanish.
Six is a robot with a great humanity and you will love him more and more by reading the story.
The two young doctors are great, but the more interesting charas of the story is Ran, Umataro's little sister, sho is a very shy and cute girl with a great love for
...
robots.
She's also a great robotic genius and could become more intelligent than his big brother.
She has a big crush on Six, because he saved her life and, how can say, Ran and six are connected.
In the manga the author give us more information about robots, but I'de to have also some information about the humans of the story.

I like this anime, because I think that it's in perfect Osamu Tezuka's style.
The graphic is modern and the story has been unpdated.
The story is really amazing and I love the 'humanity' of the protagonist, 'atom' aka 'six'.
You can find his evolution during the entire story and I suffered, like Ran, when he was under repair.
Ran, the little sister of Ochanomizu, is really interesting, a shy and cute girl with a great love for robots. She is a robotic true genius and probably could be more intelligent than her bif brother.
Being this a modern anime Ran stands out among many anime dominated by tsundere girls.
The
...
family who grows around him is lovely and 'six' is a good and true hero.
The two young doctors are great.
It's a pity that only the first volume of the manga has been animated.

I love this parody manga version of 'Assassination classroom'!
The graphic style is nice and the story is funny from the beginning to the end.
I like the chibi version of the charas, because they're always 'the same', but in a very cute version.
I like the fact the fact that the students have magical powers and that you can find also great teamworks.
I like that in this story Karma is 'the red demon' and I think that is nick is perfect for him.
Korosensei and the students have always their special place aka 'the class 3E'.
In this story are evidenced also some special aspects of some charas
...
like Karasuma and bitch-sensei.
Until now this manga has been translated in Chinese, French and German.
The story of the manga is more complete and you can find there extra chapters and more information.
On the under-cover of the French version you can also find an interesting monsters encyclopedya.

I love this parody of 'Assassination classroom'!
I like the graphic style and the fact that the students have magical powers.
This anime seems like a very funny video-game.
The chibi version of the charas is amazing, they're all cute, while maintaining their personality and their characteristic traits. .
I like the fact that Karma in this version of the story is 'the red demon', because I find that this appellation is perfect for him.
I like the music and also the opening/end songs are really great.
It is a pity that the episodes are short and only twelve.
Prepare to laugh from the beginning to the end!

I love this manga because is original and innovative.
I like Matsui's art style and the reading is really fluently.
I love Korosensei and all the students of the 'Class E, and, in the manga, you can find more information about them and also some extra chapters.
Korosensei is the best teacher of all time!
This story should be horror, but it's really funny to read, It's true that there are some dramatic moments, but one returns to school life without suffering.
In Italy have been published also the 'Charas book' and 'Graduation' and are really well done and the color images are amazing.
By reading them you can understand the
...
relationships between the charas and find more information about the school.
Recently 'Assassination Classroom' had a room for the exhibition of '00 for the '50th anniversary of Weekly Shonen JUmp' and it's among the best 25 series manga of the last 50 years of Shueisha.
