About Me

Hello 👋 I'm Samfrog. With an anime list over a thousand strong, I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I'm a huge anime fan and have been watching for a bit over two decades now.

My favorite genres include slice of life (especially iyashikei), romance, and the ever popular and definitely not overcrowded genre of isekai. Speaking of isekai, I'm particularly partial to everyone's favorite: series with generic overpowered protagonsists.

In addition to watching anime, some of my other hobbies include playing Fate/Grand Order and Python Programming. I'm the developer of EreshBot, a comprehensive and always up to date FGO discord bot, whch I encourage you to check it out if you play FGO too. You won't regret it. I also love the fields of internet privacy and cybersecurity, and could speak for hours about, for example, why everyone should use a password manager.

yeah (late reply), I have been trying to get into fate.
the reason why I haven't finished fate/zero yet is because I typically use netflix Japan to watch anime (it has over 600 anime I think) which has only Japanese subtitles, as Japanese is not my first language it was hard for me to follow (fate/zero has particularly difficult Japanese and a lot of exposition/complicated plot) and I felt that I was not fully enjoying it because of that.
so I decided that I would go back and watch it with English subtitles on crunchyroll in order to properly enjoy it but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I did really enjoy prisma though.

I am in Australia so I was just finishing summer break when corona restrictions started, so I haven't been out for like 7-8 months haha. I am an introvert as well so I didn't mind too much for a while but it is starting to get to me lol.

I was starting to get into FGO but then my phone went out of action. ill have to give it another shot when i get that sorted

I've been dying to get back into watching some shows once I've finished off my uni work for the semester. They dropped a bunch of shit on me, doesn't help that I wasn't paying attention in class lol. 🐌
