I give this show a 7.
Why ?
Simply because of the horror, thhe story is ok, i guess but the art is just to beautiful, it is a shame that is not scary, the blood because of the shading, feel sloppy, in a bad way, and the corspe look like something you would find in a ragdoll funny video.
But if just for that it would get a 5, i like the character (the one that didn’t die atleast), which is a shame for a show with this kind of budget. This show for me is often the reason why i think horror in anime often sucks

This anime is what i called a overated and underrated anime, it is overated by the one who love it and underated by the one who hate it
So i will dissected it to see what made it tick and not. This review doesn’t contain SPOILERS. I already reviewed this before but seeing that it is worse than when last reviewed i have to make another one.
The Art and sound is mediocre at best and i don’t really blame the studio because of the source material. But now let us move to the fun part: -The characters: boring, no characters development, if you say the princess has some, i would argue that she is just stupid. +The nurse have the worst moral compass ever as seen in the few last episodes, but i can’t say that people didn’t predicted that. +The diplomat is just bad, his weakness is that he doesn’t approve himself ? I will give it a 1-3 score just because of the character
But the story (even in the manga and ln) are terrible. It is confusing in a bad way, not like Steins;gate but it is just poorly explained, the cast is ok before you got trembled by the number of boring, bland and easy-to-forget side character, the fact that they are so forgettable that i forgot their name made the story even more confusing. Also i know it is main character plot but he is just like other anime protagonist, a even more edgy Kirito, atleast have a unique quirk pls.There are also little detail ... |
