Well... at last I finished it! The starting half of the show was really not exciting for me. I basically dragged myself to watch it so that I can finally remove it from my plan to watch list. It was kinda dull for the first half with repetitive battles but as soon as Kamina died.... I started to gain some interest in the show. His death ,weirdly, made me feel sad as I never thought they would just kill off such an important character.

After that, the second half becomes quite interesting with our boy Simon getting the recognition after he overcomes his loss and ... gets stronger. Although the second part was interesting, I still can't get over all the absurd anime logic thrown at me at the same time... from making the moon collide with the Earth to throwing entire fucking galaxies at each other. The death of the supporting characters hurts you surprisingly. I never thought that these 'sometimes annoying' characters would leave such an impression on me...
Lastly, the ending is kinda sad. I wished that at the very least, Simon and Yoko would get together so that no one ends alone. But this is acceptable too...
All in all, a good show but not as good as it was hyped to me... the story was decent. That said, this is still recommended to watch as a good gundam anime.

First of all, this is my first review so it could be that it's not to the point. And second, it could be that you might have a different opinion for this.

Ahh.... what an ending..... really a great story.

The story was good and I really loved it. I liked how they introduced the idea of "painful unrequited love" and it really intrigued me...

Art style was great. It felt like it really suited the manga and made the story more interesting. It couldn't have been better.

The characters were also very immersive. I loved how they carried so different personalities but were also same in some ways. ... Every person is alone fundamentally and searches for something to fill that hollow spot. The characters handle their problems with so much maturity and this makes it even more interesting. This is something that you rarely get to see.
I personally liked Ecchan and Hanabi's pairing. Also this was my first experience with yuri and idk why but I liked it.

All in all, it was an awesome read. With an ending that satisfied me.

P.S. I think I'm gonna like reading yuri more. Also I have edited this review cause I felt like I wasn't doing justice to this manga... well now, thanks for reading this review! :)
