Normally, when there is a remake most of the story stays the same. Just changing the visuals as in graphics and so, but not for this anime.
Its like the whole story changed, and to be honest the story became much better. Though the core stays the same as in Alphonse and Edward looking to return their bodies, but there are new characters and story line changed contradicting with the old series, maybe following the manga more thoroughly.
Story (8) - the story initially revolves around the Eliric brothers that performed a taboo alchemy ritual to revive their dead mother which resulted in Al's body being lost

Kuroshitsuji has a very common storyline of a human's contract with a devil. To be honest, when I first looked at the cover for this anime. My normal reaction "WHy not??"

When I first saw this anime I thought it was going to be another love story with no much action involved, but I was greatly mistaken.
This was a great blend of romance, drama, and supernatural moments. There was no need to watch it in HD because it was already in breathtaking graphics. To start with this anime had a fresh supernatural idea. But personally the ending felt a little rushed and inconsistent.
The graphics were fine and good animation work had been done on the series. One thing that captured my attention was the shounen ai atmosphere of this anime, though its not labeled a shounen ai and there isn't any kissing and stuff, but you'll definitely feel the shounen ai atmosphere. Well, Death note is definatly one of the best anime i've ever watched, though it was produces like 8 years ago. I seriously like the detective work which gets your mind involved and the love scenes are really overratted and unrealistic (The acting he does with the girls isnt satisfying). The series is epic from the supernatural point of veiw and somwhat unbelievable in the common sense sideway.

First of all, I've got to confess that this series was one of the best ones Ive watched so far. the storyline, the consistancy and the hint of mystery (Actually its not a hint, basically its all a mystry) was so amazing I couldnt stop watching it till the very end.

When I first decided to watch this anime, I thought it would be another simple love story. I was totally wronge, it turned out to be a really great story, with consistant storyline and complicated yet adorable relationship between the two main charactrers. It doesn't only revolve around the two but also shows the relationship between the other resdidents of the mansion.

Im actually going to write the reveiw for all the 4 seasons, since i watched all of them once in 5 days (impresiive huh?).
The series is really great, and I love the continuity until the whole story died out. But a major problem in the series is that there slow in showing the true feeling of the character, and a little bit pervy (though there are worse series).
